Lester's Hardware Company and Rental Center

Lesters is the most helpful hardware store in Kinston area hands down. They also tend to have whatever the big box stores don't have . I appreciate the help they were quick to offer in helping me find the parts I needed. I've rented equipment from them before and the experience was great and the prices were better than any other place in the area. I recommend you try this place before you waste your time anywhere else .

Lots of inventory and they have just about every kind of seed for your garden. Very helpful staff also.

Rented an excavator from them last week. I had 2 days to complete a project and I was running a couple hours behind that morning. The staff was very friendly. I told them that I needed the equipment ASAP; they got the claw monster out to me in 20 minutes and I was able to finish the project within the time frame. Highly recommend them. Thanks.

Always a very inviting place to shop. Employee's are usually very friendly and helpful when you first step in the store. Having been in retail most of my life I always appreciate employees that greet you and ask to assist. It was always my requirement that employee's greet with a positive and inviting manner. Great Store! The staff is knowledgeable and attentive. The store has a terrific inventory. Everything you need from a hardware store without all the extra "stuff" that makes finding what you want impossible. It is so much easier to come here, ask for what you are looking for, get it and get out. Five Stars!

Lester's is one of those places every town needs...the 1 on 1 service is impeccable. The prices are sometimes a bit higher than the big box stores but then you get all the complaints that you can't get any help there...I value service and Leader's offers it.

They know their stuff, always quick to help when you walk in, and take you right to the part you need without wasting time! THE best way to avoid Lowe's if you can!
