Rustic Roots

I moved here recently from Sacramento where they are known for having an amazing Farm to Fork experience. I was really excited to find this restaurant that shares in the same experience. The food was great. I really enjoyed the chicken wings. They are the best I've had so far! I also enjoyed the Harvest Salad. So delicious! Looking forward to visiting again real soon.

One of my favorite spots in Lexington for breakfast now. We also love their burgers for dinner...and cant go wrong with any appetizers! Great relaxed atmosphere.

The food was beyond excellent and the service was outstanding.

The atmosphere is quaint and rustic
(pun indented).

All the food is locally sourced and you can really tell the chef knows what he's doing and takes pride in his delicious creations.

10/10 would reccomend and my family and I will definitely be going back!

Always a great experience with excellent food when dining here. I always get the Harvest Apple Salad, add the grilled chicken, and I'm never disappointed. It's my go-to meal when I want something light, yet filling. All the different flavor combinations are expertly paired to create a delicious dish. Some day I will try another menu item, but for now, this salad is my number one pick!

This is a place to treat Mom for lunch. The food is super fresh and top quality. Everything is great. Steak is the best. Chicken is very tender. Salad house dressing is yummy

Wonderful restaurant in a historical hotel lobby.
I had the BLT with fried green tomatoes. The wife had the bread bowl with blackeyed pea chili.
First off, go hungry! Massive lunch that requires a take out box.
The sourdough bread was to die for, and listed for many of the entrees. The wife’s soup had smoked pork belly, and peppers and onions, my sandwich arrived double staked with a massive mound of fries for my side. A touch of salt, or spice would have increased my pleasure but as served was a wonderful experience.
If in downtown Lexington for any reason other than BBQ, go there first.

I had the fried green tomato BLT with succotash. It’s was beyond amazing. Such a cute atmosphere and the staff were so kind. The food came out fast as well. Lunch for two on a Thursday.

Incredible food. We've been a few times and the food is always amazing. I'll post a photo of the pimento cheese burger I had and the salmon my wife had. Both were absolutely delicious. Honestly the burger is one of the best burgers I've ever had in my life.

Great beer selection. Cool atmosphere. Friendly staff. Insanely delicious food. Don't drive to Winston or Greensboro for a great dining experience, just check out Rustic Roots.

Very simple and casual dining experience. Food was extremely good, staff was friendly and efficient. The amount of food for the price was reasonable.

Such a cute fine! Right on Main Street and you can walk to other areas afterwords. Love the antique decor and the staff is super friendly. The friend green BLT is a must!

We had a nice lunch. The service was reasonably fast. My only disappointment was that the Water Buffalo Burger was not available. I did have the Rustic Burger that was very good with a side of fries. I also had iced tea that was fresh and they kept it refilled without having to ask. Everyone in my party enjoyed their lunch. I would definatly go back to this restaurant.

Went in for a late lunch on a Friday afternoon. Cute place. Everyone was friendly. Food was excellent but it took a little time to come out even though the place was slow.. Southwestern Salad was huge and very good. My husband's burger and fries were also excellent.

I have enjoyed this restaurant for several years. Our recent server was a delight. I enjoy their chicken salad on a croissant! Their fries are to die for. Small atmosphere, but great history of this interesting venue 😁.
