Wow I have tried every single bbq place in Lexington and nothing has compared to this. The chopped bbq was super tender and moist (didn’t even need the extra dip I ordered) I find that most bbq places have very dry bbq and I drown it in dip to be able to pass it down but man this bbq was melt in your mouth. My mother in law said the same, we all got the chopped plate, everything was delicious and fresh. Hush puppies were hot and not soaked in oil like most places, my husband got a side of potato salad and man it was the best potato salad we’ve had. Overall I was very very impressed with the quality of the food. This was my first time trying this location being that it’s the only bbq place open on Sunday and it’s by far my favorite bbq place in Lexington! I will be going back! For 3 plates, 3 drinks and an extra side it was 40$

Waitresses are on point. The delicious food was out quickly, and we enjoyed every bite. There are about 20 cords of hickory wood in the old barn out back, so you know how authentic it tastes!
I enjoyed a coarse chopped plate with bbq slaw, sweet potato casserole with a side of hush puppies. Hubby had the big beef brisket sandwich with baked beans and fries. Banana pudding was for dessert. We are already discussing our return trip.

Got Beef Plate to go with two rolls. The green beans were seasoned and smokey flavored, and the red bbq slaw tastes traditional to lexington. The beef brisket is fall apart and amazingly tender. It is served in their dip. Their brisket dip may be different from their pork bbq dip, but what i noticed it isnt of water consistency, and has more of a ketchup tomato flavor in the sauce, and almost has a steak sauce flavor to it, which to me is different than traditional lexington dip sauces in town that only use the same simple ingredients in a similar recipe. That said, it still is an amazing sauce and has crushed red pepper, black pepper, ketchup and vinegar and compliments the beef great. You cant find good beef bbq in lexington that I knew of until I went here! I definitely recommend you try it if you love brisket bbq. The women that work there are all nice and friendly southern ladies, and the inside atmosphere looks really cozy and neat. I will definitely come back here for lunch!

By far the best bq we've ever had. Got 3 plates to go to eat in the truck, traveling with dogs. I tipped when I received the order but after eating I went back in to compliment them on their awesome food. Left a bigger tip because these 3 ladies hustle their buttons off. Tender, not overly smoky, great sides. 5 stars for the food and service.

Stopped in on a Saturday. They have 2 rooms for seating 💺. Nice decor, waitress was nice and friendly... the prices were very fair and cheap for the amount of food you get. Got the chopped pork and brisket. Sides were good as well greenbeans and beans and roll were all good. Would go back for sure.

Went into this place with zero expectations just based on reviews on google and I was very impressed with the customer service and the food was absolutely delicious. Greeted as soon as I walked into the door and was seated in less than a minute during peel lunch time and food came out fast. Very delicious BBQ. Some of the best hush puppies I’ve ever had. 10/10

I used to stop in when I was in the area working, and their BBQ was ALWAYS on point! I had to revisit, so worth the drive! Friendly people and good service! Well worth the drive there! Also, they will give you half and half fries and hushpuppies! The hushpuppies are sweet, not oniony like most places! Also, I have heard people talk that they have the BEST steaks, ribeye, sirloin included! It was packed in there tonight! They definitely know how to keep people happy!!! Food is awesome!!!

Where is this place? I don't know. There's no signs directing you off the interstate. Luckily for me I was following a guy who use to live in the area. Less than 2 miles and the parking lot is right next to the road. Walk in and seat yourself. Friend wanted hotdogs but I wanted BBQ of course. Got the Big Brisket sandwich with fries and baked beans. Emeril would have said BAM! The flavor profile was on point. I sure could have done with a bigger serving then a shot glass of baked beans. Those were the best baked beans I've had in a long time.

Don't know that I want to try anything else on the menu. That sandwich was so good! And the prices are just right. Now I'm traveling again thru the area, I know where I'm stopping.

Had a great lunch here. Staff was amazing, atmosphere was great, and the food was on point. I would highly recommend trying this place out if you're passing through the area.

Staff was friendly and attentive. Restaurant is well kept and clean. Brisket is not the in vogue Texas flare (16 mesh pepper, and Sea Salt), but it was well seasoned in the local flare, and well executed. Their "chopped" pork was excellent as well. It's clear that these folks know how to BBQ right, and unlike one of their other vaunted competitors who ONLY offers pork shoulders, these folks will not only tackle a whole packer brisket, but they will heap pile it on your plate. It's nice to have options on a menu.

If you decide to go there, make certain you do not skip the Banana pudding.

The food was delicious! Great portions and not too pricey! I would definitely like to eat here again!

Delicious as always. The meats are moist and tasty, the beans have meat in them, but the star of the show is always the Hushpuppies.

Just perfect ! Fantastic Beef Brisket Sandwich for only $10. Very family atmosphere. Totally Recommend.

Love the bbq. I get mine with no sauce. My buddy told me about this place like a year ago and its now one of my favorites.

The brisket is to die for here. Everything was so good! The service was quick and friendly, too.
