Nicole did my hair trial and my hair style for my wedding day, and it was beautiful. I was nervous because I have natural curls, and she incorporated my curls into the up-do. My hair was much shorter during the hair trial, and she was still able to come up with a concept that worked really well for the wedding months later. She incorporated flowers from my florist, and the idea matched the style of my dress and the vibe of our outdoor wedding. My hair stayed in place, and it was just lovely. Nicole is easy to talk to, supportive, and great at what she does!

Hannah & Nicole came to my venue site just outside of Asheville on the day of my wedding to style my hair along with several other ladies involved in the day. They were amazing, kind, patient and were very attentive. We had not done a trial run with these ladies but they listened to everything myself and the ladies had to say and created beauitul styles for everyone based on just short consultations. After initially hiring Hannah to do my hair for my wedding, I was pretty bummed to find out she wouldn't be able to do it because of a childcare conflict. Hannah set me up with her associate, Nicole, and assured me that she would do a fantastic job. And that she did! I was able to do a trial with Nicole a few weeks out, and had her do an updo similar to one I had found online. It was beautiful, but after wearing it the rest of the day, I decided it just didn't feel like me. So going into my wedding day, I still didn't really know what I wanted. Nicole and I were able to discuss options, and ultimately decided on a look that would be special but also allow me to feel like myself. Nicole did an incredible job of dealing with undecisive me, and creating a look that I absolutely loved, and I couldn't be more grateful. Thank you Hannah and Nicole, for your patience, flexibility, professionalism, and artistry.

Swell Salon is the perfect salon for your wedding day. They will make your wedding day hair vision possible and are so easy to work with. They did an incredible job handling 8 girls on a Saturday morning and everyone walked out looking perfect! Karen Macioci was our makeup artist and she did such a great job listening to what each girl prefers and making us look beautiful. The salon has a relaxed setting with plenty of comfy chairs to wait in and they allow you to bring food and drinks so you can fuel up and have a mimosa on your special day. It was so convenient having a large grocery store a mile away and coffee shops a block away with plenty of celiac gluten free and vegan options. I highly recommend both Swell Salon for your hair and Karen Macioci for you makeup.

Today was my first visit to Swell (and certainly not my last!) I got EXACTLY what I wanted. Honestly, how often does THAT happen? Amy crushed it! She’s incredibly insightful, and has an excellent sense of how to read your personal style cues. Beyond that, she has deep understanding of technical cutting—and really delivered. I now have about 5 inches less actual length, but my hair appears just as long as when I walked in (sans all the stiff n’ scraggly burnt ends.) Also, by god, it now MOVES like a dream! Finally, Amy is really engaging—and if you’re going to spend an hour-ish with someone shearing your head, it might as well be interesting, no? So go—seriously—cure what’s ailing your long-suffering locks and get your Swell on.

We used Swell for our wedding and they were exceptional! Nicole did a wonderful job, she was attentive, friendly, professional, and easy to work with. They are the best.

M.C. is so honest and really knows what she is doing. I honestly am the type of person that says do what u need to to make it manageable and she did an amazing backwards bob for me. Plus the atmosphere is awesome. Definitely the place to go. And M.C. is definitely the Person to see!
