Outstanding selection of high quality outerwear, boots and shoes. Some very nice firearms in the "vault" and they will special order what they don't have in stock. Lots of items packed into a small space. Great customer service and some good music playing. Bought a scope on one of trips there and they bore sighted it for me. It's a throwback type store reminiscent of better days. Highly recommend stopping in and taking a look around.

I don't really review much, but I think great service should be commended so here goes: I stopped in to look around and was greeted quickly by a friendly staff member. She showed me where the gun room was and let me look around without anyone breathing down my neck too much. Keith came over and was helping look through guns that I was interested in and even had one of the rifles I was looking for (just in a different caliber than I wanted). After talking for a few minutes I mentioned I was looking for a cz o/u shotgun and he said he'd be glad to get me a price on one. He took down my name and number and the exact model I was looking for. He was very friendly and knowledgeable about firearms and seems like the kind of guy who you could sit down and just listen to. He even got my young son a piece of candy. After I left, I was only gone for about 30 minutes when he called me back with a great price on that shotgun. I told him go ahead and order it and that I'd come back and pay for it, but he said don't worry about it and that we would settle up when the gun came in. Three days later he called and told me it was in. He was even willing to wait after closing time if I couldn't make it by then. Stand up people run this shop, deal with confidence.

The best selection of foreign and domestic wax cotton outerwear in the area. They have nearly the full line of Filson and Barbour also Danner and White boots. Not only do they have great pricing and friendly service they have a a great selection of guns and ammunition for such a small store. An easy drive from anywhere in the Triangle, highly recommend Blackwood Station. Also, after you are done shopping step across the parking lot for a BBQ sandwich.
