Capella on 9

We came here for a couple drinks to end the night. No, you do not have to be a hotel guest to eat or drink here. The overall vibe of the place was extremely relaxed, carefree, but also fun and a good place to go to with friends to either end your night or to just get it started. The staff there were very friendly and eager to help us out with our table and gave plenty of drink suggestions. The quality of the drinks here is very high, and they do not skimp on the alcohol. Do be aware that the lounge doesn't allow those under 21 to enter after 2100. I would highly recommend coming here for drinks, a little snack, and the music. The rooftop space was also very nice with fireplaces and plenty of seating. Definitely a top place to be in downtown Asheville.

Let’s talk about the view, incredible! Food was awesome, tasty, delicious! We had the risotto with duck and the gnocchi with ribs. My drink tasted a crispy fall, couldn’t be better! We were so happy to choose this place for dinner during our round trip to Asheville! Going at the sunset is a plus!

Beautiful rooftop bar! Has a great view of the sunset if you go at night. Such a fun atmosphere. Great views and friendly people. We didn’t eat here but drinks were good, although a bit pricey. It is also dog friendly!

Beautiful rooftop bar. Exquisite cocktails. Devan is a gem and made our experience 5 star. Very knowledgeable about the menu and cocktails. Chef was superb, we had the edamame, fried green tomatoes, wings, kale Caesar salad and the Capella burger. They did not miss. Highly recommend.

Immaculate spot located in downtown Asheville. Absolutely loved the atmosphere and the vibes of the high rise space. Sweeping views in every direction. The service was very friendly and the food did not disappoint. Five-star experience.

We loved Capella On 9! We went here for a couple of drinks and tapas. The view from the rooftop is gorgeous. There’s a small covered area, a large uncovered area, and an indoor dining spot as well. It was fairly quiet when we went and the ambience was fabulous.
We both got cocktails which were good. I got the gnocchi, and it was the best gnocchi I’ve personally had. My husband got the potatoes tapas and they were also delicious. It was a great time!

One of my favorite place to go to when visiting Asheville! Their espresso martinis are very good and the ambiance is very nice. They have heaters on the rooftops during the fall. Cool spot on the top of a hotel

I had an amazing experience at this rooftop restaurant. The ambiance was perfect with a beautiful view. The salmon dish was cooked to perfection and was incredibly flavorful. I couldn't have asked for a better dining experience!

LIZZIE is amazing! She was so sweet and helpful. It was my BF's birthday and he was there I was not so I called in to see if she could help me surprise him and she went above and beyond to make him feel special the whole night! Lizzie I could never thank you enough.

Incredibly clean and crisp decor. Drinks were on point and the charcuterie board was a winner. Definitely will hold you together for an hour or 2 before dinner. This roof top bar has a large inside dinning area and a spacious outdoor area with a few firepits .

Wow - what a surprise, we went back each night! Absolutely amazing views. The service was great. We even ordered a few small plates and everything was delicious . Don’t miss out!

The food, drinks and service was amazing!! We had the scallop with bacon jam and brussels and braised short rib...omg the best! Also the drinks were so good! I never had a smoked rosemary cranberry margarita with black salt! Tasty! Our waitress (I can't think of her name, short blonde pixie cut) was so sweet, honestly the best service we've had in a while...and we eat out often. I highly recommend, we will be back when we visit again!

We didn't get anything to eat but we did get drinks. The drinks were strong. The customer service was great. You seat yourself and there are many options for seats. There is the bar, there are sofas, traditional tables, tables in patio facing the west to view the sunset. There is a large patio on the other end and it has many types of seating. We went between 6 and 7pm. It was kid friendly. We didn't even have to ask for water in a kid cup, they brought it without us even asking. Overall it's a great environment.

Very cool rooftop bar! Delicious drinks and nice atmosphere. I wish it wasn’t so cold this weekend, so that we could sit outside.

AC Marriotts are known for their fantastic rooftop bars. Each one named after the floor it is on. This one is on the ninth floor in downtown Asheville.

It has fantastic views of the down town and surround landscape. The drinks were phenomenal I had the Capella G+T, which uses fever tree and star anise for a fantastic flavor.

My partner had both the Smoked Manhattan, which was was prepared perfectly and served in a stemmed glass. And then a second drink called Ole #4, which was Capella's take on an Old Fashioned.

Fantastic evening with great views! Worth stopping in if you want a good downtown view and wonderful drinks!

Braised short ribs and sasquatch the bounty hunter cocktail both 10/10 recommend.

This is my favorite spot in asheville for a cocktail with a view. No downsides other than an elevator that's mildly inconvenient at times, but what can you do. They do a really amazing job of creating a functional and safe place to have some fun with family and friends. Walk in. Grab a seat. Have a drink. Enjoy the view. Very nice staff. Very short wait most of the week. The cocktail menu is real solid as well.

Great upscale bar with wonderful rooftop views of Asheville as you can see from some of my photos. Staff is very knowledgeable on local beers and very friendly. Outside fire pits and swanky furniture. This place was nice! I will be back and you should stop by as well! Just be safe drinking and no driving lol.

Hear me out, this place looks like Corporate America Hotel Restaurant TM, but the food is amazing. The Tuna Taki, sasquatch the bounty hunter, the short rib and gnocchi- so delicious despite the sad lighting. You need to go.
