Staff are extremely approachable, and as reasonable and knowledgeable as can be found in the AVL area for mechanics. Example: if you're considering a reliable USED vehicle in this hectic time when prices are ballooning, one of the staffers will give it a whirl/evaluate it for almost nothing.

Great experience. Had a flat tire and they made me feel at home even tho I was from out of town and felt like a fish out of water. They ordered a tire and had me on the road right away. The owner is easy on the eyes too.

We had an valve stem leak and a hole in the tire as we were traveling through the area today. They got us right in, fixed it quickly (only 30 minutes from the time we got off the interstate to when we got back on, it was incredible), and very well priced. I could tell they knew what they were doing, and they were very professional. If we lived in the area, this would be our new auto center. Highly recommend, great experience.

I stopped in to Candler Tire and Automotive and was helped by Dwayne who I think is the owner. My problem was that my spare tire was leaking air. I had gone to several other shops that said the leak was from the bead around the rim and they could not fix the problem and offered to sell me a new tire. Dwayne confidently said he could get the tire to seal and sure enough in less than 10 minutes he had broke the tire loose from the rim, resealed and inflated it and I was on my way. After 3 days the tire has not lost any air and I am convinced the problem is solved. Truly professional and friendly service. I for sure will go back to Candler Tire and Automotive for my tire and any other auto repair needs. Thank you Dwayne!

A great place to get mechanical issues fixed correctly at a fair price. Craig is a awesome guy that is the manager. Billy the shop foreman is also a extremely good foreign auto tech. This place is a good place to have routine maintenance to having major repairs performed by a honest crew who treat you with respect. I didn't think there were any shops like this left. Shelby, and Scooter were absolutely great. From the first phone call I knew my car would be in good hands. We wanted to get our brake pads changed before traversing the mountain roads and they fit us in same day. The price of the service was fair considering how great a job they did. Everyone there is incredibly professional and willing to help with any information they can. I can’t recommend them enough and will absolutely be back for any further needs in the future.

I rented a trailer from them so I cannot vouch for their mechanical abilities. I met two people working there. Both very friendly and professional. I've rented from u-haul numerous times but I think this was the first time I've ever had such helpful and friendly service! Will def recommend to anyone needing to rent.

Really nice people and great service. My wife and I had a flat on top of Mt Pisgah and luckily were able to make it down the mountain. Candler Tire and Automotive was a great help and got us back on the road in probably 20 minutes.

Extremely positive experience. Staff were all polite, respectful and kind, and cost was more than reasonable. The tech identified the issue that was causing a rattle by my exhaust pipe, and fixed it without getting into overly expensive solutions. I couldn't have been more satisfied. Pulled in with a flat tire on my motorhome. Fixed my flat in no time. After they found out I'd just finished laying wreaths at the veterans cemetery, they wouldn't take money for their services. Great guys who love our country. Highly recommend stopping there if you want to be treated right.

The ladies at the desk are we'll organize And are very courteous. Folks in the shop are great very professional they get in there and get the job done get you back on the road you can go in the morning and that afternoon have what you ordered for a tire on most accounts waiting for you by 2:30 most of the time on my experiences with them anyhow every time my brother is taking his box trucks down there he's not come back disappointed very happy with the treatment in the service two thumbs up for these guys great folks go down and see the people that Candler Tire and Automotive get your vehicle inspected whatever your vehicle needs....👍👍

My first time here and I had a great experience!! Dwayne (hopefully I got that right), the owner, drove my car with me to see if he felt any of the issues I thought I was feeling. He explained some of the mechanics so I could understand what was going on with the brakes. I expressed that I was frustrated because I had spent a lot of money buying tires at another garage in Ohio, and I felt like they were already out of balance again. He balanced my tires for free and told me I could stop worrying about money!! Seriously kind and honest people here. He also gave me tips on where to drive for some good mountain views since I just moved here. And he gave me advice for when I decided to get my front brakes fixed in the future. This owner and business are awesome and definitely deserve some customers!!
