Azalea Park

Nice small park with a fishing pond and trails. Large gravel parking lot shared with the dog park located at the far end of the lot. There are a few benches around the pond and a trail that leads up into the woods. There's not a lot of room but a nice place to bring the kids

One of my kids favorite spots to swim. This area is just right for smaller kids too. We've been there when there's been a good amount of people yet it's never been too crowded and we've never run into a problem with any of the people being too rowdy Etc. Always a good time.

Awesome!!! With plenty, I mean plenty of room for our dog to sprint!!! He can play with the other dogs and run for ever chasing cars, safely along the fence.

Great place to take a dip in the river. Bring some trash bags please and help keep it clean

My pups favorite dog park! It's always clean and maintained well! And the pond is always good for fishing or watching the geese.

Soccer fields are a great place to walk for people with disabilities. Lots of trees, fields and the river

Nice dog park and fishing pond.

A took us a while to find the beach and the part of the river with the rocks in it that you could sit on, but it was worth the wait. It is so beautiful here. You can swim and fish or do both. There is also a small wading pool area for the little ones.

Great park with soccer fields, a play around and covered tables. Looks like they are doing some construction but it is coming along nicely and if you go on a Sunday (at Least in my experience) you'll avoid the construction). If you go a little further down the road (I'd recommend driving because the sidewalk ends) you'll find Azalea dog park and a lake for fishing. Such a nice area in East Asheville!!

I always love it.. I usually start up at the top swimming hole, hang out,cookout. Then I'll tube or. Swim with current further down to secluded spots so peaceful. Great place to enjoy company of others with privacy..

Great place to get away from the city, and spend the day on the river. I take my service dog Rio there every weekend. Most of the people who go there are family with children.

Very pretty park. Had soccer fields, a pool, a wildlife center, a public access to the river that was a nice looking swimming hole section, and looked like they had a dog park too.

Nice Dog park...has water! The lake is full of catfish. I just had what I caught for dinner. 😃

5 star for kids sports development. Well groomed fields. Everything was nearly 9 out of 10 and I typically never say this about anything.
