This is a military museum and coffee shop. In that context it’s a great place to hang out. Live music on Saturday mornings all are welcome to join in. Bring your guitar

I can't say enough nice and wonderful things about Richards coffee shop and museum!! My husband is a veteran amd we've been up there lots of times, even with my son and he loves it too!! And if you're military and are struggling just go in and ask to speak with someone at the restaurant part in the back section (front section is the museum). Amazing human beings. And you can tell they have love for not only their community but of course their country! 💙🇺🇸🙏🏼 And if you need help financially they help veterans You just have to go in and bring your information with you what you need help with and bring your DD214 and they'll see if they can make it or can help you.

Finally tried Richards Coffee Shop! I wrongly assumed it was just a vet hangout - while it is VERY welcoming to vets it isn't JUST for vets. In addition to honoring our vets (through the displays, meetups, and service), they are welcoming to us non-vets as well (although we don't get the vet discount). As for the coffee shop, it's down-home cooking and super reasonably priced. I'd HIGHLY recommend walking thru the exhibits (many donated by local service members) and grabbing a meal in the coffee shop too. I'll definitely be back!!!!

Saw this coffee shop had a military museum and was intrigued so went in on 3/4/23. Museum is free but appreciates donations. Had memorabilia from different wars. Recommend!

Richard coffee shop isnd military museum in downtown Mooresville North Carolina is such a great and unique place. Grab coffee, breakfast, lunch. Hang out with a great group of vets, and spend time looking at the museum.

very clean and the staff is really friendly. I definitely will be back with friends and coworkers. most importantly the food is amazing. Hidden gem, who knew! pleasently surprised.

This place is my favorite in all of Moorsville! If you are a veteran, make sure you let the staff know for a special surprise. The staff is super kind and the memorabilia is really interesting!

If you're a vet yourself, you know a vet or appreciate everything that a vet stands for; I very much recommend stopping by and saying hello. The breakfast and coffee were good but you're going for the atmosphere more anything. I plan to be back.

This is an amazing place for veterans, their loved ones to visit. A chance for us that haven't served to thank those that do or have.

This is a MUST-SEE for everyone in and around the Mooresville area. The living military museum is absolutely amazing! Unique displays, distinctive artifacts, and photos and art from so many different war-time eras are all set out with thoughtful respect. The Honor Room is humbling. It definitely choked me up and brought tears to my eyes.

On Saturday mornings, locals come in for live music and that was really cool to see. There are lots of different coffee options and everyone who works here does so on a voluntary basis.

Unique exhibits. This is a true grassroots museum. Saturday morning breakfast is lots of fun with live music.

Such an awesome living museum. Though I was not in the military, I appreciate everyone past present and future who is. The exhibits are awesome.

I was drawn in by the $3 iced mocha sign and was so glad I came in. This is such a wonderful place. You can learn about military history and talk to local vets. They have great coffee and food.

Wonderful "hidden gem" in the middle of Mooresville.
Very nice, albeit small, military museum and coffee shop. My understanding: all items on display are items which many of the local veterans personally brought back from wherever they were deployed.
Coffee was very good.
Sitting and talking with some of the veterans is what really made this place special.

The museum was a great find. Plenty of history. Great place for conversation with other Veterans. I'm not a fan of their Breakfast. But the coffee wasn't to bad.

I like to go on Thursday mornings. Free coffee and camaraderie. The food is very good and the museum is full of interesting items to check out. Plan on at least an hour. You still won't see it all. If you are a veteran, please let them know when you come in if it is your first visit.

Loved the music and the museum quality artifacts were so interesting!
