Epic Chophouse

Had date night here last Saturday. My girlfriend and I wanted to try somewhere new. She has never had beef wellington. Found Epic Chophouse on Charlotte foodies it had good reviews. So we went to try it out, we we're not disappointed. I would say 9 out of 10! We had the shrimp appetizer, and it was delicious. We had great drinks,Dirty Martini, and I had the Pineapple Martini. She ordered the Beef Wellington with green beans, and I got the filet and mushrooms. Wow, both meals we're fantastic. Could not eat it all had to bering them home. The meals were cooked to perfection. The waitress was on top of everything and did not miss a beat. The place was nice and varied, layed back atmosphere. We got drinks at the bar before our table was ready. I would say go to the Epic Chophouse if you want great meals and great service! Tell them the Review Guru Sent ya!!

Excellent service by bartender and server - both clearly enjoy their jobs there, and it shows. I'm a mashed potato snob bc usually restaurants make inedible versions -- these were the best I've had in any restaurant anywhere by a mile. Great filets though mine was slightly smaller and therefore was overcooked. Menu had a nice variety, and filet was reasonably priced compared to many other places. Drinks were spot on - better variety and choice of specialty cocktails than most places. The cake...massive, moist, & delish with the chocolate curls on top being a perfect finish. Enjoyed sitting upstairs because it was less noisy. I see why this restaurant has been around so long. Absolute gem. We will most definitely return.

The ambience of this restaurant is desirable from the tasteful floral center piece to the charming fireplace that adorns the back of the dining area, the artwork chosen with class and fits the style of the food and atmosphere! A delightful sight to the eyes, to see the clientele and their choice of attire added to the excitement!
The waiters and waitresses and hostess as well were very professional and proficient in their duties, extremely attentive to our needs and requests, was kempt and dressed very appropriately ( no visible tattoos or piercings that I saw) so nice!!! Carried themselves with Elegance and Grace, very knowledgeable about their menu and choices.
Upon arrival each plate of food had their each unique wonderful aroma from herbs and spices that taunted your senses! Visually appealing in colors and textures and plated with elegance and style! The taste of the food was pleasing to one’s desiring impeccable
palate! This place is a Bon vivant’s dream come true!
All the things together made this double birthday celebration , for my mother and my husband, a very enchanting evening celebration!!! Thanks so much I believe we have found our new go to restaurant! 😘

Epic Steakhouse has been highly recommended by neighbors and friends for years...and now I know why!! My initial visit (for we will definitely be returning) lived up to all the hype and then some. Impeccable service from the moment we walked in the door all the way through our meal and beyond. The atmosphere was pleasant, good lighting, plenty of space between tables so you don't have anybody right on top of you. And the food...oooooooh the food! Juicy steaks bursting with flavor. The Shanghai Shrimp were incredible. Ample sides. And the desserts were out of this world.

This restaurant is a must eat! We had never been before so I sent a message to see if reservations were required. A gentlemen by the name of Ken set it all up for us and made it super easy. We actually visited Feb 19th so earlier this year for my mother in laws birthday. Staff was super friendly. Atmosphere was very nice. They actually sat us upstairs which was pretty cool. Our server was Haylee and she was spot on. Didn't miss a beat. We were amazed at the menu options and then blown away by the taste of the food. My youngest enjoyed it so much she asked if we could eat here again for her birthday. If you haven't given this place a try, you're missing out!

This place did not disappoint! Amazing food. Definitely an experience you should treat yourself to.

Visiting from out of town I wanted to treat myself to a nice meal. DeAndre was my server and he did a wonderful job! Very knowledgeable about the menu and specials and super attentive and kind. Hosts were sweet as well! I got the delicious Wagyu cooked to perfection, with asparagus and some wine. I believe the wine was a cab called Silver Palm, it was med body, slightly fruity and paired wonderfully with my meal. Highly recommend this combination with the perfectly seared scallops. I thoroughly enjoyed my visit, wonderful place to dine! 10/10!

Dynamite steaks. Excellent sides and massive dessert serving sizes. Decent wine selection as well. One of the best places for a steak in the Lake Norman area.

Large restaurant with an upstairs area perfect for private parties.

Try the bread pudding for dessert.

I cannot say enough good things about Epic Chophouse. The staff is helpful, attentive, friendly. The atmosphere is upscale and perfect for a date night or special occasion. The food is absolutely out of this world. I have been here twice since moving to the area and I will definitely be back to try even more menu items.

My experience here was good. It started kind of confusing. Doors open at 4PM, but the dinning room and entrees aren't served until 4:30 PM. We got there right at 4PM, so we sat at the bar. Server found out that hat we could order from Bar menu from 4PM to 6PM. This was good because it served as out appitizers. All were good, along with the Flat bread which was delicious (forgot to get a picture). Entrees we're good. Wife's salad came with a homemade Ranch dressing that used real eggs. Consistency was similar to blue cheese, but server ensured it was ranch, seems as she has gotten that question before. Otherwise good outing and would go back.

Wow! This place was a treat!!! We were impressed from the second we walked in. The service is friendly and knowledgeable. The food was delicious, and the presentation was beautiful.Nice wine options and interesting menu. Highly recommend!!

All of their apps are so good. We ordered 2 of everything. The filet is so so good. Ordered potato cakes for the first time and they were amazing. The desert is so good and huge!!!! Great place for date night or work event.

This is definitely a 5 star restaurant. I was a guest at a wedding party Thurs. when I walked thru the door I noticed a sign that said they recently had a fire l, I admired those guys for being there for us during hard times for them. The servers were very nice and attentive they frequently checked on us to make sure things went well. The food was amazing I especially loved the prime rib and the carver I think he was a chef he was so nice to us and made sure everyone ate. The manager made sure my kids were happy when I requested for cups for the kids to play with..a all around great experience will definitely be back

Phenomenal meal, absolutely phenomenal!!

Started off with some Bacon!, Calamari Bellissimo, and Shanghai Shrimp. All three were brought out super quick and each of them were so delicious! The bacon had a nice kick from the Sriracha, but not overbearing. The shrimp was breaded just right and the Shanghai sauce was bangin'.

I ordered the Ribeye 104 South at Medium Rare with some of the shoestring fries. The smoked salt on the ribeye was just the right touch. There was a nice sear on the ribeye, which was perfectly cooked. So full of flavor.

My wife ordered the Scampi Style Shrimp Pasta and she really liked it. It seemed to be packed with shrimp too...unlike most places that have shrimp dishes where they skimp on the shrimp.

My mother ordered the Epic Parmigiana...which looked massive! She really liked it as well. She said that the breading on the chicken breast had a great taste and that it was, overall, a very tasty dish!

Our server, Gabriel, was probably the most attentive server in the entire world...he was so quick to replace our drinks and clean up the table to remove dirty dishes.

We are not from Mooresville but would definitely come back the next time we're in town. If you're in the area and haven't tried this place, I hope you're happy with your life.

Went here for our 5th anniversary and I was blown away. You can keep the over the top steakhouses. service was amazing I probably had 8 refills of water and didn't asked one time. the bang shrimp was amazing my steak was outta this world my lobster tails were amazing. We ended the night with a chocolate cake which was too rich for me but a few bite is just enough. Will definitely go back whenever I can.

Both visits to this location have been phenomenal. I can’t express enough how good both of our servers have been. Haley and Luis were top tier and really put our experience above other resturant’s. I would highly suggest the Waygu it was cooked to perfection with great flavor. I’m very excited to try Epic Prime when they open the new resturant this year.

This is our go to restaurant when celebrating our birthdays. My son and I have birthdays 5 days apart and we like celebrating at this restaurant. We each had the beef wellington and asparagus with hollandaise sause. My husband had steak frietz which is truffle and garlic sauce with steak pieces. And homemade criss cross potato chips as a garnish. It all was delicious 😋

Lovely atmosphere. Servers and hostesses were very kind. We ordered Epic 48 ounce longbone tomohawk ribeye. It was delicious, well cooked and the charr on the top was perfect. Plenty of flavor.
Crembrulee was very tasty. Top was pretty sweet, bottom was not very sweet. Perfect combo.

Excellent food, appetizers were also wonderful. Our server was engaging and delightful and even had substantial knowledge about the wine.

Ambience was great, except it got a little bit noisy in the bar at the end of our meal (we ate in the bar).

This was a great experience. I do suggest making reservations. We went two weekends in a row without one and we were able to sit on the right side where there is first come first serve seating almost immediately.

The service was 10/10 we had the same server both times and I am obsessed with her 😊.

Food the first time was perfect.
The second time my food was more 7-8/10. But it wouldn’t stop me from coming back again soon.
