Cook Out

It was our family's first time having Cook Out since we moved here almost 3 years ago. We ended up parking instead of doing drive thru because we noticed a walk up order window. That was good because we did have questions about the menu and didn't feel rushed. The young lady who attended to us was great. The food came out fast and it was nice and hot by the time we got home. We are a family of 5 and everyone ordered what they thought they'd enjoy with a milkshake to top it off. The food was delicious and tge milkshakes oh so tasty. Great job Cook Out! We shall be returning very very soon. Thank you!

I've always liked cookout's product. Their food and value is great. However, their service was an issue for a while there after the pandemic. 100% better after my recent experience. I spoke with a manager named Shane, and he really seems to care about customer experience. He seems to set the atmosphere for his co-workers. All I know is my orders have been better prepared and takes a whole less time getting through the drive through. Very encouraging to keep me coming back with folks working there like this.

Hi there, Google Gang. It's yo Boi BiggHall. I stopped in for a little late night cheese burger with fries and a double cheese burger. The service, as usual, was great, and the staff were friendly. The food was great ,cooked to order 😋, and very yummy. Thank you for a great experience.

It was everything we wanted from Cook out. Took 12 kids there for lunch and everyone was all smiles. Burgers were tasty, and the shakes were delicious.

Does this place ever mess up an order? Always on top of their game. Love the corn dogs and amazing milkshakes.

This is an amazing cookout . I will say thru weekends times are a bit rough on trying to get food.. slammed pack with Highschoolers but thru the week this is a go to for me an my husband .. they have amazing everything! I usually get double burger tray .. such a great deal for the amount of delicious food you receive. Great job cookout employees

On 08/13/23 around 8:35ish we decided we wanted to eat CO for dinner. The customer service through the drive thru was phenomenal. The guy on the drive thru end (white young male with long hair) was very polite and patient with us, since we ordered for 6. I could also hear him very clearly which was a plus. He made sure to ask if we needed anything else and the team did amazing with our order!! Not one thing was wrong nor missing. I appreciate the kindness of your employees and their exceptional customer service.

The food was good for fast food restaurants. Fresh and fast. If you gotta eat at a fast food place, this is a pretty decent choice. The shakes are good. That milkshakes are great when they are mixed up correctly.

Lines moved fast, guy at the windows was friendly and the food was great as always

First time was the other day and have to say very tasty for fast food joint. Their menu has so much to choose from! Milkshakes are hands down the best. The lady taking our food was doing an excellent job with taking orders and handing out the food. It was jammed packed that day and she stayed calm through the rush and was willing to help any guest who need anything. In the area and need to grab a bite, I would recommend this place!

We got a peanut butter fudge shake. It was delicious!!

I purposely plan our trips so we travel through this area so we can stop at the cookout. ❤

Update (03-13-2021, see original post below): we have received much better service over time! Most recently we went a few days ago and got more food than usual and the cashier (different than the previous cashier mentioned below) at the window was super nice! Our shakes were perfect, food was hot and tasty and nothing was made incorrectly! We will definitely be coming back regularly after this location redeeming itself so well!

(10-19-2020) my spouse and I typically go to this particular location often because we love cookout and this location has been great until about a month ago where several of our visits including tonight’s have been very underwhelming.

Tonight we arrived at about approximately 1am (which most people know cookout is known for staying open till 2-3am) and started to order our trays. While I was ordering mine and starting to say I wanted a blueberry cheesecake milkshake I was cut off by the person taking our order for her to say the machine was either down or done for the night (we were bummed but dealt with it) ordered the rest of our food and went to the window to pay. We paid for our food and got our drinks then proceeded to wait for about 10-15 minutes before getting our food of which I happened to glance over at the time an employee was making a milkshake (I know what a milkshake machine looks like and the motion that goes with it) we finally got our food and drove off only to find out we did not receive our white cheese bites. We were very sad with the whole experience.

In the past we have received chicken tenders that look like literal balls of chicken more than once. Until this location gets better at the food and delivery we may not be back to this location but will stay hopeful for other cookout locations.

I had been told about this place, so finally decided to give it a whirl. I was surprised by the quality honestly. The burgers tasted like they were fresh off the grill, and the fresh banana milkshake I had was the best I've had in years. Obviously old fashioned hard ice cream with real bananas. Two of us ate for 10 bucks. Try beating those prices! I'd rate this place excellent

Late one night while searching for food in the Mooresville area we lucked up and found this location. The service was excellent, the food was exactly as ordered, and the experience was perfect! A perfect 5 start 👌 followus@johncauble via Facebook

When there's no line it's quick. The best food for a small price. They give you a lot of fries and hushpupppies

Wish I could give double 5 stars!
* Do NOT let a long line here scare you away! They have nailed it on FAST customer service with their two-lane drive-through!
* I wouldn't call this fast food! I would call it home-cooking with the most courteous smiles!
* Something like 10,000 flavors of milk shakes! (Well, maybe not 10,000 but sure enough you will have PLENTY of choices in milk shake flavors!)

This location is probably the only place open after 9pm in the whole Lake Norman area. Not only that, but the food is quality, and you get a good amount.
It's the only place open after dark on the weekends though, so the drive through line goes waaaaaay down the block, and you might see groups of teenagers doing teenagery stuff in the parking lot.

Great food and prices. Only drive through and window service offered. Outdoor seating is fine when the weather is warm and dry.
