Interesting find in "downtown" Mooresville, NC. An old hardware store built in 1899. The creaking steps to the second floor were actually scary! Lol. But worth the risk. I could probably spend a whole day in there and still not see everything. Every kind of old tools, new tools, and memorabilia- like the wall of John Wayne. Can you spy Elvis in one of these pics? Friendly people working there to help you find things. Hand made soaps, honey, almond and peanut butters, (even a special kind for dogs) and how about a small, genuine Longaberger basket for $7.00! Lots of unique finds here with helpful, friendly staff.

Amazing, antique and authentic local hardware store. Been in operation for well over a hundred years! Definitely worth a visit.

This special store is a step back in time. If you need a hardware item and you don't want to waste your time sitting in traffic on Hwy 150, check here first. This local family owned business is 124 years old. The owner, who was born and has lived in Mooresville all of his life, is 91 and still comes in every day. Definitely check this one out!

If they don't have it, you don't need it. Everyone should visit Turners at least once. You could spend all day there and not see everything. It's history personified. Go visit. You will enjoy it.

I always try to shop here first for my hardware needs. Great old timey hardware store - you can still buy 2 screws when you need to versus a blister pack with way more than you will ever use. Very friendly and great value.

I walked in, was helped immediately and was given the right answers. I didn't have to wander or ask for help. If you get your steaks from the butcher and your seafood from a fish market, you should go to the hardware store for the good stuff. No crowds, no lines, no fake smiles, just a real smile from someone that truly knows what they're doing. I've been there many times but today, I wanted to give them a rating. 👍🏻😊

Great old hardware store with everything you need. Tall ceilings double decker and nice staff. Exactly what you’d expect on a small Main Street.

This is a true old time, stocked to the ceiling, wood floor hardware store. We went in for the bird feeders, but quickly learned the star attraction is owner Jack Moore who's been a fixture there for 75 years. We could have chatted with him all day. Social visit aside, if you need a new cord for your electric percolator, they have it, as well as many other items you will never find in a big box store. And the bonus is you get to meet Jack!

I stopped by to purchase a Lodge Cast Iron Skillet. Danny was so helpful and answered the questions that I had. The customer service is like none other and atmosphere is nostalgic. This store is a hidden gem and definitely should be on everyone’s must see list!

Greatest hardware store in NC bar none. Family owned. If you have a hard to find item, you may well find it here!! Really cool place just to stop and look around their store. If you grew up in Mooresville and surrounding areas, it will take you back to your childhood memories.

Your old fashioned hardware store, where they actually know what you mean if u say something like I need, 6 , 10 penny nails. Will also go out of their way to help u solve an issue. Pops is now 90 and still working. Like it was when I was a kid

There is something about doing business in a 102 year old store. The man knows everything and everyone in town. Together we designed a regulatory value for a flexible water line I had. It cost $29.00 on line. We did it for $4 and had fun doing it.

Had a store just like this but smaller on Richmond Road, Staten Island . However Turners has everything and I mean everything. Need an old wooden door spring, they have it. Need cast iron cookware, they have it. Best hardware store on earth. Love this place.

Great local store, over 100 years old and was first gas station in Mooresville. Visit Jack, buy some local honey, and try to figure out what some of the things laying around are. It is not only nostalgic, but has high quality products.
