On Tops Roofing

On Friday, March 29, 2024 a large oak tree fell on our roof. On Tops had installed a new roof for us in 2017 and I contacted Chris at On Tops to ask if they could make repairs to roof. He had Arturo come out Monday morning to assess the damage and provide an estimate. After putting a tarp on the roof, the damage was repaired on Friday April 5. So in less than a week we have newly repaired roof. Process was extremely easy and hassle free and as always a great job by Chris and his crew at On Tops. I’ve added before and after photos.

Super happy that I went with On Tops!!! Very easy to communicate with. And very quick responses too, which I love!! The house is old and I really thought it would take days to do the roof, but a 9 person crew who came in and redid the entire roof in one day. It was amazing. Highly recommend On Tops!!! Major plus that it’s a family owned business too, love to support local.

On Tops Roofing completed several repairs to my roof that an inspector found. They came out within a couple days, performed the work efficiently and cleaned up all debris. The cost was reasonable and better than others. I recommend using them for all your roofing needs.

Roofers noticed an old existing gas penetration not in use & were able to roof over it. When I had to leave my home, I was personally escorted out of the work area. Chris came out to the house twice to answer our questions & Luis went above board to assure the process went smoothly. Our project manager, Luís, was friendly, competent, and bilingual, and he was on the site almost the whole day during the work. A couple of surprises came up and he was able to resolve both problems while the work was going on.

The roofers worked hard and well all day long, the cleanup job afterwards was very good, and everyone was courteous and cheerful. The roof looks nice and we don’t anticipate having any problems with it.

On Tops Roofing replaced my roof in Wilmington, NC a few years ago and they did an exceptional job! They did a 3200sf, full hip, one story house with a two car garage in about 1.5 days and couldn't have completed in 1 day with a little better luck. Fast forward a few years and I had a very minor leak. Chris was able to work me into looking at the leak within a few weeks, which was perfectly fine considering out weather and that it was a minor leak. The leak ended up being a pipe boot, which they ended up addressing all of my pipe vent boots, not just the one problem. They were thorough, fairly priced, quick and handled clean up very well. I highly recommend them for a quality and expeditious project!

From our initial contact to completion of the repair took only a few days. This included inspecting our roof, a detailed quote to us (with pictures) and the work done. We had a great experience with On Tops Roofing. They don't try to upsell you like every other roofer out there. We had a leak in a section of our roof and they provided us a repair quote without trying to sell us a whole new roof or encouraging us to go through our insurance. They were also able to fit us into their schedule in the same week that we received the quote, so we didn't have to live with a leaky roof for too long.
The actual installation by Jeff Sr. and Jeff Jr. was top notch too, they arrived on time and finished the job quickly. Communication from everyone on the team was great.

We had an absolutely amazing experience with On Tops Roofing. We submitted an email form for a quote and within minutes received two very professional and friendly emails from Chris Talton, Territory Sales Manager, and Arturo Castro, Roofing Specialist, introducing themselves and thanking us for contacting them. We set up a meeting for the next day, and Chris showed up to walk us through our roofing options and to explain the entire process. We were so impressed with his thoroughness that we signed a contract on the spot. When the roofing crew showed up the next week at 7 am, we met Luis, our Project Manager, who walked us through what to expect during the project. The entire crew was so professional and made sure to cover our plants and bushes and tarp the front and back of the house so no damage would happen. Amazingly, they finished the entire project in one day and thoroughly cleaned up our yard and driveway when they were finished. Luis was fantastic at keeping us informed throughout the day with any issues that needed to be addressed and advising us on the progress of the work. The end result is an absolutely beautiful and solid roof. A few weeks after the project, we received a gift of a jar of cookies to thank us for our business, which was a delightful surprise. In all our years of dealing with companies like this, we have never received such excellent customer service. Job nice done by On Tops Roofing. We had our roof replaced last month and they did in one day! 2400sqft house. Chris was super helpful, easy to work with. And the workers are also very professional. They kept the jobsite clean and save, very organized. They are trust worthy company.

The entire process was top notch from first call to roof repair. They came out the day after I called and had photos of required repairs e-mailed within 2 hours of visit. We accepted the estimate and work was completed by the end of the same week! Awesome customer service. The service tech was on time and courteous. On Tops Roofing did a fantastic job replacing the roof on our house. They helped talk us through the steps of working with our insurance. They were very accommodating with our timeline and kept in communication with us. They were very timely in getting our roof on and went through the damage they found under the shingles. I've used OnTops Roofing twice now and both experiences have been fantastic. The first time, they completely replaced the roof on my house. They were prompt, efficient, and got the job done in a day for a very good price. The second time was a minor repair after a vent boot had degraded. Again, OnTops was quick to respond and very easy to work with, and the quality of the workmanship was outstanding.

About 10 years ago, we interviewed a few different companies to replace our roof. We elected to go with On Tops Roofing, and I am so happy we did. At the time, their pricing was very competitive with the other companies. If anything they may have even been lower than some of the other estimates, but because I had seen so many of their signs in neighbors' yards we decided to use them. The work at the time was impeccable. Within the last 6 months, I have had two issues arise that needed On Tops' attention. Neither issue pertained to the actual work they had done, but they were more than willing to help. Their communication was prompt and efficient. They treated us as if they had just replaced our roof within the last year. I can't say enough good things about this company: timely, efficient, honest, trustworthy and reliable.

On Tops Roofing repaired numerous leaking points on our roof that appeared after a heavy rain storm. We had two large areas of water spots one upstairs and downstairs. I called On Tops Roofing after reading their 5 star reviews! Chris sent me an estimate based on the photos the insurance inspector had taken. It was very reasonable. He sent a roofer over even though it was right before Christmas. The roofer got right to work and repaired the leaking areas and thoroughly checked the entire roof. He completed the repairs in less than 2 hrs. and let me know the nature of the repairs, He was very polite and efficient. I would recommend On Tops Roofing to anyone needing roof repairs. They saved our Christmas this year!
