Spechts Texas

This was our second visit. We really enjoyed ourselves!! The food is really good and so are the drinks. We ordered a burger and a pulled pork sandwich, and the kids had the kids meal cheeseburger. The music was a little loud for our dog, but we managed. We live out of town so we couldn't leave her home. The only thing my husband mentioned was that the pulled pork sandwich would have been better with a sweet BBQ sauce. The onion rings were so good!! We will definitely be back!

I loved the atmosphere. There is seating indoors and outdoors. The salad was fresh, and the salmon was amazing.

Good food in a low key place north of San Antonio. Went for Sunday brunch on a whim. Music outside on the patio with plenty of seating available to chill and relax while enjoying a cold beverage with your friends and family. The drive to the place was beautiful and worth a side trip there if you're headed to Bulverde or Blanco.

Heard nothing but great things about Spechts from locals. Finally got to visit for lunch. The food was delicious and the service was great! Loved the location and outside area. We plan to visit again soon during the weekend when they have live music.

Played a show here and had a great time. The Brisket Grilled Cheese was awesome. The beer was ice cold and the stage was perfect for our trio. The crowd enjoyed their evening along side our friends and family. Can't wait to be back there.

Delicious brisket fries, pulled pork nachos, and chocolate cake! Large portions. Indoor and outdoor seating. Lots of parking across the street. Will definitely visit again.

Wonderful Live music, outdoor seating, rustic Texas feel and great food, wonderful staff and service! What more can you ask for? I shared videos below of their music to check out. This hidden gem is conveniently located in the country just north of San Antonio. It would also be a wonderful place to have a small birthday party as several customers do there. We had a great time! Highly recommend.

A step back in time nice comfy place. Food was good nice and hot. Ice cold beer. Excellent place to get a chicken fried steak. Very tasty

A great place to have dinner and listen to live music. Food is great. Atmosphere is nice. Walk around and see the old gas pumps and the cows in the pasture out back. Kids can run and play. Good place for all ages.

Great drinks and live music! Catfish was great but I should have eaten it inside because the summer air killed the crispy crust of the fish. I’ll come back.

We came here for the first time on April 16th and had a late lunch. The food was really good, and the french fries were the best ever. The outdoor atmosphere was great. We will definitely come back and bring friends and relatives to enjoy.

Out in the country just around the corner from a main road and minutes from the city, this hidden gem is a must-visit and an ideal respite from the hustle of the city.

I love everything about this place! The atmosphere is warm and welcoming. The staff is friendly and attentive. The food is delicious! The live music was amazing! Austin Burns (Generation Gap) played an incredible mix of old country, Texas country, pop, blues, and rock.

I had the chicken fried steak with asparagus and green beans. The asparagus was grilled perfectly! No need to add salt or anything else. The green beans were great with bacon. The chicken fried steak was absolutely delicious!!! My friend had the guacamole burger and loved it too!

Zero complaints and 100% praise!

Delicious burgers 🍔 and fries 🍟! Loved the Spechts sauce too. Dog friendly patio area outdoors with fans, great band playing, and a nice location. Area for playing yard games possibly, and for the dogs.

Service and atmosphere were amazing! Hubby and I got burgers and they were fantastic. Friends of ours got the chicken fried steak and a salad with chicken; they loved it. Kids can run around and live music on weekends.

After living in the area for almost 8 years, we finally tried this place out. Took us way too long. Great food and we also love the atmosphere, especially the outdoor dining space.

I've been here twice and both times were wonderful experiences. First time, with my younger son's soccer team. We showed up unannounced and were very well cared for. Second time, with my older son's soccer team. A reservation was made this time and we showed up with quite a large group. The food was prepared quickly, the staff was very attentive and the live music was an unexpected element which added to the already enjoyable atmosphere. We will definitely be back!

This place is a hidden gem! Great historic spot! Absolutely the best customer service! Ice cold beer! Good served hot food I had the chicken fried steaks and pulled pork nachos, great LIVE MUSIC on a Large outdoor stage. Plenty of seating outdoors and indoors DOG FRIENDLY Y'ALL! (And children friendly) ask for a tour it's awesome. There's a lot of history here cotton gin from 1830

We recently moved nearby and we’re told we HAD to check Spechts! It’s definitely a new favorite and I can’t wait to take the whole family! The food was great, loved the outdoor area and the service was quick!
