We stayed here during Spring Break and it was the perfect little spot in Nashville! The value was excellent. The room was clean. We had zero issues. We stayed on the second floor and while the traffic noise was noticeable, it was not a problem. The place seemed pretty empty while we were there. We had no noise issues from other guests. All of the linens were nice and since they do not have housekeeping services during the stay, there was plenty of towels to last the whole time. The location was great as it was not right in the middle of all the action, but close enough that it did not seem too far out of the way. I would 100% recommend this place to anyone going to Nashville!

Just got back from a stay there and it was a great experience. Even though the office is off site the staff was wonderful to deal with. I had some packages delivered to their off site location (at their recommendation to ensure proper delivery) and they sent someone over right away to bring them to me. Was out and about 90% of the time so didn't spend a ton of time at our room but it was perfect for our girls trip. There is actually quite a bit to see within walking distance (the hall of fame murals, lots of recording studios and the cemetery where George Jones and several other famous people are buried) Will definitely be booking again as I plan on making another weekend trip down to see more sights. And the Mofongo Cafe next door is amazing!!

I am always for the underdog . I am so impressed with the remodel that these guys have done it show that they want more out of life . They have taken a motel into a 2.5 hotel . It’s not the most luxurious hotel out there it’s clean and the customer service is on point they delivered every extra item we needed promptly . You could not find a better location in Nashville walking distance from some amazing restaurants . The jam co is 8 minutes away I Highly recommend for breakfast . Vuis is great for lunch it’s a 2 minute walk and vuis for breakfast is amazing for green juices in the morning there is the most amazing coffee shop with some of the best donuts 🍩 I’ve ever had it’s 2 minutes away what else can you ask for ?

The Iris has been a wonderful surprise. We are in Nashville for a week, and originally only booked the first two nights at the Iris, intending to move to a "better" hotel later. Instead we extended our stay for the whole week. What a gem! Our room was spotless and well designed. The beds and linens were comfortable. There was a huge stack of towels. We had a small refrigerator. The shower was hot and had good pressure.( We never used the TV) Our room was on the ground floor in the back, We didn't hear much traffic noise. The parking was a little tight, but there was plenty and it was FREE!!!! The staff were around all day if we needed anything ( extra coffee and pillows for us) they were all so friendly and professional.
The location is a pretty busy corner. There are 5 places to eat; less than 2 minutes walk and on the same corner. We highly suggest Common Ground. The food is spectacular.
Everywhere we went was about 15-20 minutes....Broadway and downtown. Cheekwood Gardens, and the Grand Ole Opry building.
( Be prepared for the horrible Nashville roads... And insane parking fees...$20 an hour downtown😳)
Anyway, we love The Iris !
A note about coffee. The Iris, like almost every where I stay these days has an in-room single cup Keurig. The worst coffee maker ever.. An insult to coffee. Iris provides a great local coffee.. However, you fill the pod, and turn the machine on and the water runs straight through the center. The result is tasteless, brownish water. The coffee in the pod is not even damp. .. Plan on going for a coffee run in the morning.
We don't fault the Iris for this, as the same coffee maker has been in every hotel room I've stayed in for years.
I come to Nashville pretty often and this will be where I stay every visit. Great job Iris staff! Great job. 🥇

This was a great little motel. It was very neat and clean. Loved the design of the room. It is a neat idea, with just the room code. My husband didn't like how tiny the bathroom was, but he is a bigger guy.

Wonderful place to stay. Clean, comfortable, and just what you need for a room in Nashville! We'll be back for sure. Also, it's beside our favorite restaurants! The Sunflower Cafe, Vui's, and Sam & Zoe's!

The check in and check out process is easy. Though no one is on site, an issue we had was resolved easily and quickly. The rooms are clean, the lights go with the ambiance, the motel is unique. It’s very affordable and the location is great. It’s near downtown and the university. There are plenty of fast food places within walking distance. If you forgot something there’s a small Walmart across the street. It’s a motel and the best one I’ve ever stayed it. It’s not a resort so I’m unsure what the low reviews are for. Everything described on its website or booking site are accurate. Myself and my child stayed and I felt safe. I’d definitely recommend it!

If you are looking for an affordable, decent motel to stay at, this is the one!! Let me tell y’all, I was planning a solo trip to Nashville, and read a bunch of reviews on hotels/motels and this one really caught my eye. I especially like the contactless feature. The communication was great and they made sure to let me know that they were available (I believe 24/7) for anything that I needed. The room was very clean and I love the minimal look. I wish there was a microwave, but there one in the common area. I didn’t end up needing it, but it was nice to know that there was one just in case! The bed was soooo comfy too! The location is great also. There’s a neighborhood Walmart across the street (10 minute walk) & a Wendy’s. Gas station is about a 5 minute walk and there’s plenty of shopping and even a Regal Cinema right right the road. I felt like it was the perfect location, because it was about a 15 minute drive everywhere else.
But don’t just take it from me, read all of these reviews! We are telling the truth, so happy I stayed here and am planning on staying here again for my next trip in a couple of weeks.

I really enjoyed my stay here. I would definitely stay again. The only things that I would mention would be that our shower curtain had a bit of a smell, you can hear lots of outside noise, and you could somewhat here people in the next room. Honestly, other than those things, my stay was amazing and it's in a great location close to the highways, convenient stores and food spots.

Even though this motel is contactless communication was key! Every question, concern, or request I had was answered with a quick response. The room was nice and a good value for the amount I paid. The bed and pillows were actually some of the most comfortable ones I have had in a room (and I've stayed in some bigger name Hotels before!). Location was convenient to a couple of unique little shops and there is a cafe in walking distance. Broadway and Downtown is also a close drive away. If I ever find myself in Nashville again I will absolutely consider booking here again!

We are on our second day of our 2 night stay here and so far we have been very pleased. The pictures online did make me think it was gonna be bigger but we didn’t need much space so it’s not a big deal. I had called here a couple days before we came and asked about any local pools as I was desperately needing a day beside the pool. They went out of their way to find a pool that I could have access to and sent me all the information I needed to get in. I really like how fast they responded (via text) about any questions I had. We would definitely return

Pros: The location was very convenient for our planned activities. The room was very clean and had nice soap and shampoo/conditioners available. The tub and sink looked new & were very clean. I liked that the floors were not carpet. They were hardwood. There were plenty of towels & washcloths. There were several options for food within walking distance & plenty within driving distance. One hundred Oaks shopping mall is close by as well as a Walmart and Home Depot. There is a mini fridge which was convenient and there is a microwave in the lobby that we used to heat up some breakfast we brought. Overall a great experience and we will stay again in the future.

Cons: There were only 2 small pillows on each bed so more pillows would be nice & the road noise was loud until about 10:00 and then it stayed quiet until around 6:00 am.

Oh I absolutely adored this place. From the booking process to the checkout process, everything was seamless and easy. My room was ready early and was spotless at my arrival. The decor was modern and minimal, but not boring whatsoever! Check in was simple because of the thorough instructions in the email and text. Checkout was a breeze because of the instructions in the handy notebook thing that’s in the room. I have no complaints whatsoever! My friend told me I made a good choice!

CLEAN ROOM, Clean & Comfy bed & linens. BEAUTIFUL hardwood floors and modern painted metal and laminated wood built-ins for your lounging/storage use. 2 Mirrors! Very conveniently located, close to everything. Air-conditioning that keeps the room cool and provides sufficient background noise to promote sleep. Loved the contactless boutique feel of this place. Brings an extra pillow and go to Sam & Zoe's for breakfast/Coffee. Great Caribbean, Thai, American, & Vietnamese restaurants within walking distance.
Water pressure a little low, lack of a super low super soft light option for the room, more pillows w/double layer cases and a bit better in room coffee situation would be my only notes.
We had a great stay and this will be our first inquiry if we have occasions for subsequent visits to Nashville.

Update!

We chose to stay here for my bachelorette trip because it was easy to get in and out of.

After the staff was super helpful when I booked, (I had issues getting my card to run and they helped so much with that) we had a fantastic trip. The hosts are so helpful, and I love that you can just text if you need something.

The room was well-stacked with linens, the beds are very comfy and the lights in the room were a fun touch. Will definitely stay here again when we come back to Nashville!

I was a solo traveller who flew all the way from Melbourne, Australia to see a gig at The Basement East Nashville and Beale Street Music Festival in Memphis TN, I stayed here for 6x nights. My room was allocated at the back of the motel, It was clean, Cozy and quiet. I arrived just before 11pm and despite not having a front desk, The instructions on how to get into the room was straight forward and I absolutely loved having late checkout as I didn't fly back until 5:30pm. Getting to and from the places I wanted to go to was easy with an Uber / Lyft. Thank you so much Iris Motel all in all I had such a pleasant stay and will definitely recommend this to all my family and friends. Until next time, Cheers! - Char Xo

I love this little motel with all my heart. It's so close to the Nashville SC stadium that you could walk if you wanted to. The rooms are simple, clean, smells great, modern and exactly what we needed. The beds are super comfortable. The shampoo smells great. They left way more towels than we could ever use which was nice to not have to worry about running out. The outside of the hotel is modern and very visually appeasing. It's in a great location with several restaurants and stores within walking distance. When you call, the staff are extremely helpful and friendly. I will definitely stay here every time I come to Nashville.

Loved that it is a budget friendly option. It was a motel with hotel energy. There was no water so we had to wait for the ice to melt from the ice machine to turn into water. We didn’t want to buy any. Budget friendly vibes, yknow? We enjoyed staying there and got to walk to Pfunky Griddle (breakfast) which was the highlight of the trip for us! That will be a separate review. I was just not a fan of how far the location was and we ended up using a lot of Ubers/Lyfts to get around. Otherwise it was a good stay. They provided baby shampoo/conditioner mixed bottles, soaps, towels and there was a fridge for leftovers. Would have loved them to install a deadbolt on the door but that’s it.

My fiance and I stayed here a couple of weeks ago for five nights and it was awesome! The rooms are small, but it's really all we needed. The bathroom lighting is great, lots of storage and the beds were super comfortable.

The location is prime and so cute. It's about a $9 uber into downtown and is nice because it keeps you our of the really loud, hustle and bustle of the city. We visited alot of local spots while we were there; Vui's across the street was incredible as was the coffee shop and juice bar. We would order and walk up to grab it every morning. Theres a walmart across the street to grab somethings for the room since there is a mini-fridge.

We had an issue one night with our neighbors being incredibly loud, but tossed on the AC and we couldn't hear much of anything. I see others have commented on the traffic and noise but we didn't have that issue at all (we were on the back of the building).
