This may have been the best customer service I've ever had in any Kroger grocery store!

Here's the quick version.

First, a customer service rep saw me with all or my items in my hand and he went to get me a cart without me even asking!

The the customer service rep at the self checkout lane gave me great help and assistance with groceries, checking out and cash back!

This Grocery Store was AWESOME! When I was here I ended up using the Kroger website although I wanted to come In to have more cheaper stuff,

Example: I had One of each Soda, Medicine and plenty of carbs in the meat.

But the way really nice decorations for December like when I entered the door near the Redbox, a snowman and a pack of soda appeared. This place has excellent service and quality!

Good Kroger with consistent inventory. My pickup orders are always on time and are way cheaper than ordering through Instacart. James, who brings out my order every week, is so kind and helpful!

I ordered for pickup and the experience was wonderful. The order was running late due to staffing issues, but I received a call with plenty of time to adjust my schedule. The online app was easy to use, and payment was adjusted for out of stock items. The gentleman who brought out my groceries was very polite and friendly, loaded them carefully and was quick. Glad I finally gave pickup a try. It may be my new thing.

I never leave reviews but the encounter i had today led me to this point. The older smaller woman who was working in the self check out area around 6pm today was absolutely wonderful. She was super kind and helpful and she made my day by her being just nice. If i could suggest anything, it would be to give her a raise or make her employee of the month or something, she was just absolutely a sweetheart of a human and i just wanted to post that publicly, even if Kroger (8th Ave) never sees it

This is my favorite grocery store. Prices are good, people actually look at you and respond...not like that pretentious Publix few blocks down.

Best Kroger in Nashville and Berry Hill. Larger store with a huge selection including gourmet items and various international items. Great selection of many different barbecue sauces, etc. EVERYTHING is super fresh including canned and jarred items, especially Kroger brand items. They have the best pharmacy I could ask for. A different Kroger's pharmacy was trying to charge me $53 out of pocket for a medication that they said was not covered by my insurance. It was actually 3 medications that needed to be mixed at the time of pickup. I'm on disability and have excellent medication coverage. So luckily they were out of stock so I had the prescription transferred to 2615 Franklin Rd Kroger pharmacy. They filled each of the three separate medicines and ran them separately through my insurance and it WAS COVERED. God Bless them! They saved me $49.

Great quality and prices. Especially love that it is open 24 Hours. Lots of self check out places but the availability of human check out can take a little longer. But it’s always a good experience. Love the grocery pickup too. Quick and easy. This location has everything.

The deli is the star of this store. They really try to advise as well as listen to what you want. They’re friendly and professional working a difficult job.
I just want you to realize how fortunate you are to have Jamie has the deli manager. He helps the employees while still doing his own job. He can answer any question you have. The rest of the staff like Abiz especially listens to what you want and his professionalism is excellent. The two new hires are learning and seem to be doing quite well.
It’s a nice department that I hope Kroger recognizes in some way.

paid a higher wage

I dropped some draino at the self checkout. I was embarrassed and started to clean it up my self, but the staff insisted they would take care of it. I didn't get her name, but the woman working the self checkout tonight a little before 10pm (1/20/19) showed amazing customer service skills. I very much appreciate the hospitality I saw here tonight.

One of the best locations for this chain I've been to in the city. Polite and helpful team members are never a problem, and this one is no exception. What makes this one different from others nearby on my opinion is the number of customers - it's not jam-packed all the time. I will admit I've never been on a weekend though.

I was surprised and delighted to find such a well stocked Kroger and with such amenities as an olive bar abd salad bar!!!!
Id like to add that this is one of not the friendliest Kroger's I Have ever shopped. Its a little farther but the selection is worth the extra 2 miles

One of the nicer Kroger stores. Great cheese and olives station. Wished they had a sushi maker there, too. The cosmetic, first-aid, shampoo, etc selections / section is rather lacking. But there's a Walgreens a bit down the car park there. Seems consistently busy, the self-checkout is your only option after 9pm, which I am totally on board with. My only issue with that is the attendants can alternate being really overworked to really inattentive. But, I cannot imagine having to interact with some more "challenging" of customers that shop there. So I really can not / should not find fault there.

I moved to this area/Melrose and 12th south in late 2017. I had lived in Bellevue for many years. I do love this Kroger mainly because of the staff and management. If there is anything I need and it's an active item from Kroger they are more than happy to order it for me. For instance all the Kroger stores In Nashville stopped carrying the Simple Truth Organic vanilla yogurt but kept the plain. I checked with corporate and found out it was an active and available item. I couldn't get a few other stores to get it for me. I asked the manager at the Melrose store and they stock it regularly. No Problem. I also switched all my prescriptions from Walgreens to the same Melrose Kroger Pharmacy. It saved me money and time. Around town most Walgreens Pharmacy employee's seem to hate working there. The staff at Melrose couldn't be kinder and more accommodating.
Walgreens is definitely higher on items not covered by my insurance. Good Rx prices at Kroger are much better and your greeted and treated with a smile. That matters to me. Anytime I need help with anything in that Melrose Kroger Wanda,Shakeria ,Rose or any of the managers go the extra mile. One manager in particular Chris Reed is great.

Probably my favorite place to shop. The store is always clean and well-organized, and their selection is larger than some other supermarkets nearby. I love that there's a gas station on the premises.

I love their selection of healthy/organic food options. They are easy to find and the store is well organized. I love their self service check-out. It makes is super quick and easy to get in and out fast.

Great location, Deli section also includes a cheese and olive bar, and a salad bar. We love the cheese bar under $5 samples. Pharmacy is convenient and quick.

Never has an issue with customer service at this kroger's. Yes, its busy and there may be a wait. Most of the negative comments are from people always in a hurry. Since they put in self checkout, we have never been asked to unload our cart.

Whoever was in charge of the playlist today… you killed it! We were singing throughout the aisles doing our Sunday grocery shopping. Thank you!
