Hiep Phong BBQ

The best roast duck in all of Texas, trust me. You guys stay away
until 11 am so I can get mine. The roast pork is also good, our
inner circle only gets it here. When you do something everyday
most of your adult life, it is going to be great whatever you do.

Finally able to catch these guys when they are open to try their BBQ. Came here around noon on a Saturday and all their meats were hanging on the rack. Now super exited, I couldn’t help my self so I ordered some roasted pork, roast duck and BBQ pork aka Xa Xiu. Just for FYI, you can’t sit down and eat in here, you have to buy it by the pound and take it home. As the meats are being chopped up and prepared to go, I noticed that they also sell other snacks such as sweet buns, egg rolls, and related Asian groceries that I didn’t bother to look at because I was eyeing their BBQ meats the whole time. A quick look at their prices (see attached) is about the same as other places however, the main difference is the older grandfather behind the counter preparing the meats is super nice and friendly. Anyways enough small talk, the BBQ meats here are amazing. GOLLY, the pork and duck were so damn good that I just couldn’t stop eating it. Both the pork and duck were tender and juicy. The skin on the roast pork was amazingly crispy and the duck was just outstanding. Maybe, I’m exaggerating a bit but it was how I felt when I tried it and I’m sure you will feel the same too. Hiep Phong is a bit away from where I live but I don’t care, I will be a regular here.

Love this place! They have the best Chinese BBQ of all DFW. There are people who come 1-2hrs out of town just to buy their BBQ. I'm literally always buying their Chinese BBQ pork, crispy pork, and roast duck. They're always generous with giving extra sauce whenever I ask and they also help cut the meat pieces smaller and thinner when requested.
I've tried Chinese BBQ from many places in DFW, but this place is always my #1 that I always come back to. The meat is always soft and juicy, and it's never too hard to bite into. The crispy pork is always perfectly crunchy!
Pricing is all dependent on how much you want to buy.
They sell out quickly, especially whenever there's any holiday season. They also sell out of the whole roast pig which again people from all over Texas order ahead of time to pick up.
They also sell little Vietnamese snacks/desserts on their island table that I like to get as well.
My family and I almost every week to stock up on BBQ from them!! Love it and highly highly recommend this store!!!

This has become my favorite place to get Chinese roast pork, roast duck, or char shiu. They're the best in the Dallas area that I know of. I've been swinging by this place for the past year. The man who dispenses the meat appears to be the master.

We ordered a whole roasted pig for my son's birthday party. It was delicious and moist. A bit of a drive for us living south of Dallas, but good food is worth it.

I started buying the BBQ pork here about 30 years ago. Nobody else's compares and I tried a lot while they were closed for renovation. I moved away but whenever I come to Allen to visit my son I always stop here. The roast pork is also tasty and the duck I bought was superb but it's the BBQ pork I come for. Always worth the 90 mile drive.

Love this place! The meats are very tasty and you can tell the owner put so much love into making it. Great portion for the price.

Delicious and tasty roast duck like usual, but keeps getting both smaller and more expensive. A whole duck is almost $30 now. Their French bread, to accompany the duck, is almost always out by the afternoon.

Don’t even tell me you’re Asian if this is not one of your go-to spots in DFW. It doesn’t get anymore authentic than this people. Just get some and be happy!

Best bbq pork buns in DFW. They did not used to make these buns in 1990s but now it’s on the menu and my family buys half a dozen each week. The BBQ pork is uncontested. There is a place that makes better banh bao dough but I’ll keep that a secret. Their filling for the buns can’t compare with Hiep Phong.

Excellent Roasted pork and ducks with great price. They also have Vietnamese pickles, cải chua, củ kiệu. You can also find "phá lấu lòng heo".

The market itself wasn't anything extraordinary, but the meat there is wonderful! I would definitely recommend getting roast pork or duck there. It's fresh and reasonable priced.

Whenever I think of Roasted BBQ, this is the place I think of. I remember coming here as a child more than 25 years ago. It's always been good, and it's always my gold standard. If you're in the area, don't miss out.

My family has been getting the roasted pork here for years. It’s so, so good. The meat is tasty and the skin is crunchy. It’s the best combination.

I'm a big fan of anime or I use to be and they have the same food as in the shows it's like this white stuff it was really delicious I wish I could get like seven of them daily and just take them wherever I go
