Northwood Veterinary Clinic

Northwood Veterinary Clinic is the best vet that we've ever had, across multiple states. The staff and doctors are all awesome, and they have taken great care of our dogs and cat when needed. They're very accommodating with scheduling and very reasonable with their pricing and recommendations. We will continue taking all of our pets here as long as we're in Dallas.

Northwood Veterinary Clinic has been my go-to vet for about ten years. The prices are affordable, and they always care for our dogs. I have a very talkative and dramatic Schnauzer who consistently receives excellent care.

We've been using Northwood Vet Clinic for our pets' needs since we moved to north Dallas nearly seven years ago. Dr. Chase and his staff have always treated our dogs (and us!) with the utmost care and concern. We gladly recommend them!

We recently had to find a new vet after ours closed down and we were referred to this clinic. The staff is super friendly and the doctor knowledgable and kind. It made the transition so much easier on us and our pets. Thank you!

I feel so blessed to have found this clinic. Drs. Chase and Shirley are the most caring, knowledgeable, honest and trustworthy veterinarians I have ever met. I have had many pets in different states and by far, this clinic far supersedes any other I've experienced. The staff are helpful, loving and compassionate. Also the costs to treat your animals are fair and reasonable.

My JRT likes to pretend he's a tough guy ... but he gets really scared when he goes to the groomer and the vet. That's one thing that makes Northwood so great. They know how to deal with his anxiety and help make the experience as non-traumatic as possible. From annual care to dealing with acute issues, they're amazing!

You will not fine a more caring Veterinarian than Dr Chase. My pets absolutely love him and the staff is just as amazing. My dogs are very comfortable with him and that makes a huge difference. Dr Shirley is just as wonderful as Dr Chase. I drive from 30 minutes away just to bring my pets here for their checkups or when they are ill.

They really care about and love the animals who come through here! I brought my kitten here after I had just gotten him, and he had never been to the vet before. Amazingly, he is not afraid of the vet at all. Every other cat I've known has been terrified to go after the first time, but mine was happy to go for a second trip to get his shots.

I chalk it up to the staff here being excellent. They really go above and beyond for the animals brought to them, and I look forward to bringing the kitten I brought home today here for the excellent care that my first cat has received.

I have been going to Northwood since 1972 when Dr. Bounds started the Clinic and now Dr. Chase. They are the most professional, competent and friendly Vets in the DFW area. Dr. Chase's skill as a surgeon is unmatched! The Staff members are also highly skilled. Their prices are very reasonable. Greyhounds require a special knowledge due to their special characteristics and Dr. Chase is an expert in that regard.

We have been taking our animals to Northwood for many, many years. We always feel confident that Dr. Chase is giving the best possible care. Fees are quite fair and no unnecessary medications or treatments are ever recommended.

These employees and Dr. Chase are such an amazing team. The staff is kind and helpful and for sure run the place, but I have to give so much credit to Dr. Chase. He took my 80 pound, anxiety ridden dog to the other room (she's better away from me) when he could tell she was anxious. He was patient with her and really cared for her throughout her entire exam. I will not go to a different vet.

Dr Chase is a great vet. Good staff. Been going there for 11 years.

I went here to get my 4 cats taken care of. I got all shots updated and it was super affordable. The nurses and doctors are very nice and helped calm my nerves. Normally one of my cats is super scared of being alone but they made her and me feel so safe here. I dropped her off to get spayed and she was alone for the first time ever. They understood my concern and made sure to get her baxk to me as quickly as they could. Anytime I bring her back for checkups she's excited and puring.

Shrimply enjoyed her visit here. She received the best care and all the compliments. Dr. Chase took very good care of Shrimply.

This is the best vet clinic I have ever used. The staff is very caring and professional, friendly and very trustworthy. Dr. Chase is excellent, very knowledgeable, and follow thru with his care. He is very reasonable with his pricing and totally deserving to use as a vet clinic. I am very happy I found him and I would completely entrust him with my two kitties.

They have taken such good care of my dog and cats. My dog did her chemo at a specialty clinic but this office does her vaccines and whatnot. They are so knowledgeable and take such good care of her. And I’ve inherited two cats (I’ve never owned cats) and they’ve helped us through that transition. Everyone has handled all three animals with such care and it’s been deeply appreciated.

The doctors and staff are so gentle and informative. They have taken great care of 3 of my cats.

We have used Northwood Hills Vet for decades. While Dr Bounds has since retired, Dr Chase still is a compassionate and knowledgeable vet. He sees all our animals. He always provides great care and communicates well. The current staff there, as of April 2022, is wonderful as well. Highly recommend them.

Thank goodness for the clinical expertise as well as the social skills of Dr. Chase and staff. Whether I'm overreacting or whether the diagnosis is indeed dim, their calm professionalism never fails to steady me so I regain perspective and make reasonable decisions going forward.

Dr. Chase and his staff are exceptional. They are kind, knowledgeable, caring. Every experience I’ve had with them has been wonderful - from scheduling appointments, to check in, to getting my pups checked up and vaccinated. Dr. Chase has a huge heart for animals. He is personable and the visit never feels rushed. Northwood has provided great care for my two pups! It’ll be tough finding a new vet in Houston that provides a comparable level of care and service. I’ll miss the Northwood team!
