Helotes Overhead Garage Doors

Helotes Overhead Doors replaced our 2 garage doors, and they replaced the wood frames around our garage doors. They did an excellent job and communicated well with us throughout the process. Our new insulated doors are beautiful and the motors are very quiet!

We had a part go bad on our garage door, and called these guys out to take a look. We were worried we would have to replace the whole system and to our pleasant surprise they had it fixed 2 days later and at a very reasonable price. We will use them again for our garage door needs.

6-2-2021: Have used this excellent company for 15 years. I returned home last night and my garage door would not open -- cable was protruding on the left side. Called early this morning and spoke to office manager JOYCE who was friendly and helpful as always, and said that a tech would be available today.

She called me back in a few hours to advise that help was on the way. Technician WES arrived and showed me that the spring had broken which caused the cables on both sides to unravel. He replaced the spring, reset the cables and confirmed that the door was working perfectly. Price was reasonable considering today's costs for everything. Excellent job again Helotes Overhead Garage Doors Company!

Nathan did fantastic work for me! My garage door broke late in the day and need to get out of my garage to head to the airport. I called several of the other companies who couldn't come that day. Nathan was there as soon as he possibly could be.. even left a family emergency to come help me. He fully repaired my garage door right then and the cost was extremely reasonable compared to other quotes. He is now my go to man for garage doors. I can't recommend them highly enough!

In the last 10 years i have replaced my garage door 2 times due to bad a install i called a 3 different stores 2 did not return my call the 3rd acted like i was bothering them but they did show up the price they gave me was really high $1150 to replace a light duty door with no insulation . Then a relative recommended Helotes Overhead garage doors , i spoke to one of the lady's who was very courteous and well informed gave me a great price made appointment the guys came over and did a great job. don't waste your time calling anybody else, these guys are awesome . i highly recommend them

Wow! As someone who works with subcontractors and technicians regularly, I can speak from experience when I say this company is top notch. From the office side of things (Joyce and Pam) to the technician I met (Wes), it was an easy and affordable process to fix my garage door. I couldn’t believe how knowledgeable and kind Wes was. He’s a young man and the only thing I regret not asking was advice on raising my kids to be like him (his family clearly did a great job!). Quick responses, affordable fixes, and knowledgeable techs. What more could you ask for?

I had previously written a review stating that this company was not reliable since they never came on the day promised. After posting my review, the owner, Nathan, called me and explained they had been converting to a new communications system and the tech never received the repair order, causing the missed appointment. Nathan immediately came to my home and repaired the door at no charge! This was totally unexpected. I had been told I needed a new door and that my door was no longer available, so I would need to order a different one, which would not match the other garage door on my two door garage. Nathan said he could adjust a new door to match so that I would not need to pay for a mismatched door. I plan to order the new door from Helotes door company and will give them my future business. I also plan to refer them to my real estate clients since they exceed expectations.

I have had an unexpected wonderful experience by choosing Overhead Garage Doors in Helotes.
My expectation was to spend $400 to $500 on replacing the garage door opener. This were the initial quotes.
Not with Overhead Garage Doors. They assessed the problem and felt that it was repairable. After the second visit to confirm what the first Technician concluded, that is what they did. The door was repaired and warranted for a year and it cost me $118.00.
A great savings and an wonderful experience for they are most patient at explaining what they will do.

Called several numbers when my garage door spring broke. Found Helotes Overhead Garage Door to be the most reasonably priced. Spoke to Joy when I called and she was very pleasant to speak with. She explained the cost to come out to the house and fix the spring and added that there were no hidden cost. Technician came out the next day and within about 20 minutes had my garage door working properly. Explained what he did to repair it and charged me exactly the price that Joy quoted me! Extremely happy with the service and would highly recommend it to everyone!

Had Nathan and his crew fix my garage door on 2/6/18 and I have to say Nathan is the most stand up guy in the business! Not only did they show up on time and finish the work in a professional manner, but there was a small discrepancy which Nathan handled like the man of integrity he is. This was my first time using Helotes overhead garage doors and I was not disappointed. My garage door was crooked and wouldn't close, they had the issue resolved quickly and efficiently. My door was throughly checked and lubricated, also checked my second garage door to make sure it was not developing any issues. I was happy with the work and with the fee for the service. I would highly recommend them and will use them again when needed.
