Came in from the chilly morning, was greeted friendly. Bakery is first then you order your drink. My drink was made hot fresh, fast and efficiently. My drink was great.

I have a sweet tooth and enjoyed the pure joy pastry. I’ve heard plenty of good things about the cream puff, but I tried it and wasn’t a fan. It may have been how the chocolate peeled off and wasn’t melted on.

Great coffee shop that had a large variety of pastries and coffee drinks. Loved the patriotic theme and support of the military from the company. I enjoyed my iced latte and got my boyfriend the triple layer brownie. He loved it! Will stop at this coffee shop every time that we are in Helotes. The cream puffs are supposed to be very good—so maybe next time!!!!

Excellent coffee, roasted on site and brewed well. There were multiple options that were fresh and ready to pour when we came by on a Wednesday morning.

The two cups of coffee we got were distinct from each other and both varieties were smooth and flavorful. The food is great, the savory pastries with ham and cheddar and sausage and swiss, hit the spot. The sweet pastries are also a must. Don't skip the cream puff.

Even though it was a slow weekday morning the outdoor fire pit was going and made for a really pleasant stop with our dog. Highly recommend.

This place has some of the best desserts & coffee! everything is awesome to just kick back relax the girls that work there are awesome and sweet and willing to help And you can tell they like being There. I definitely recommend stopping in if you like coffee! get a cup of coffee they do have healthy desserts as well .

The Americano coffee was worth the extra cost compared to the brewed. They have a very nice selection of pastries and snacks. The cream puffs are huge! We enjoyed the lemon, blueberry danish and the ham and cheese puff pastry. As far as the service, it's definitely on "vacation/tourist" mode and takes a bit to get your order. Everyone was friendly, just plan accordingly for time.

Texas grounds coffee is definitely a neat spot that everyone should visit in Old Town Helotes! They’re bakery items are delicious and authentic, not to mention they offer gluten free items—in the picture I have a gluten free cupcake, and a gluten free pure joy! They’re coffee is tasteful and they have a variety of flavors and options for their customers—I had they’re latte of the week, a strawberry cheesecake iced latte made with oat milk! The actual store is relatively small in size, so most times there’s a line outside when it’s on their busy days/mornings—but luckily they serve at a good pace and make sure everyone is taken care of! I try to come here whenever I get the chance especially with my family. Welcoming staff, cozy atmosphere, offer indoor and outdoor seating, a local hotspot, and flavorful food and coffee!

Wow! The very best cream puff pastry ever! Huge! The coffee is sensational. Friendly and helpful folks. We enjoyed our time outside seated beneath the trees.

Perfect way to get the morning started waking up to a badass cup of coffee from Texas Grounds Coffee straight from Helotes Texas. Nothing better than a great tasting cup of brew. Each sip will get you going doesn’t matter if you are there in person or if you bring home a couple of bags back to the mountains. Life is good as long as you have Texas Grounds Coffee. You can shop online, or take a sip at their location, or in the mountains. If you are by Helotes their cream puff is so good. It’s a party in your mouth. We enjoyed our visit here. Is a really nice place to relax. Great costumer service. Delicious desserts and coffee. We would like to have a smaller cup size but everything else was perfect.

The bakery treats are enticing when you first walk in the door. The drink order is always quick and their espresso is great. I like the Nutella latte and the cinnamon dolce latte. It's a cozy, nice little place to hang out at.

I've visited this coffee shop twice recently. The first time I tried the lavender coffee latte and it was good. I was curious about the baked goods but I was there for a photoshoot out back.

I went back this past Saturday and tried the latte of the week, boo latte. It was a cookies and cream flavor and it wasn't too sweet. The tiny pies caught my attention so I bought a half a dozen - apple, cherry and blueberry. Very reasonable at $1.50 each. I also bought the Nutella braid. They were all very yummy bites. The Nutella braid slightly toasted was great. My favorites are the apple and blueberry tiny pies. I'm not a big fan of tart.

Definitely will be back for more tiny pies and try other things.

came across this place from a tiktok and so glad we went!! the ladies working in there were so sweet and friendly and the coffee was delish!! my boyfriend mentioned it was the first time anyone had ever asked him if he wanted ice in his coffee. the environment was also beautiful! highly recommend 10/10 ☕

Super cool coffee shop with Texas as a nation theme along with promoting gun rights. You won't believe it but they actually sell bullets by the pound right by the coffee by the pound... Free coffee for police officers and firefighters. Inhouse pastries. Map of customers with use of bullets. How cool is this? Coffee was very tasty.
