District 7 Fire Rescue - Station 116

My girls and I were headed to town today for a Dr appt when I got a flat. Praise God I was right by the station! I pulled in and asked if they’d mind helping me put on the spare bc it’d be much faster than doing it myself 😂 They jumped right in and had it all changed out and the pressure checked in less than 20 min! THANK YOU District 7 and Captain Slush!!

This is a little late coming but before the year’s end I feel it’s important to share my experience with the men at Station 116. On March 17th 2022 I had a blowout on Hwy 16 and as I turned the corner there was District 7 Station 116. I was unable to contact my husband and just had a total knee replacement a few months prior. I knew I needed help. Now I must say I’m not sure what kind of training happens behind those doors at Fire Station 116 but at the very moment those men saw I needed help they were on it! They not only changed my tire in record time they made dang sure I was OK before they let me get back on the road!
What a kindhearted group of men they were and you better believe every time I pass that station prayers for health and safety go to all connected to Fire Station 116.
