Helotes Fitness Park and Disc Golf Course

Great park to walk or jog at. The path isn’t super long, but it allows a place for your kids to play while you can still keep an eye on them. It saved me when we first moved here. My kids were busy and I was able to get my run in. It was always clean.

There is disc golf as well. It’s been a little while since I’ve been back, but it was well kept and nice. When I went, the restroom was a porta-potty.

About the best thing any city can do with land these days...an activity park for families and friends to get together and have fun! This is the time of year in Texas we all love, so get out and enjoy!

I love this beautiful little park. It has everything! From workout bars to a walk path, playground and even Frisbee golf baskets. An easy choice for a beautiful day outing.

Cute park with disc golf and lots of wooden obstacles and grassy areas. They're sewing a wildflower area right now that will look really beautiful once it's bloomed. It's also mostly fenced in (not completely), so as long as your pup doesn't wander too far, it's very dog friendly.

Great 9-hole par-3 course for kids and beginners that's close to home. They've also expanded the park to include a walking and fitness trail. I've seen fitness classes held in the park as well.

Great course for people just beginning or looking to play and have a good time. It's a 9-hole course on one side of the park. The other side has the fitness equipment. Great simple machines and a fun .33 mile walk with bridges and stairs. Several tables and some with covered areas, we had a picnic and it was great.

Great place to walk around, with the family, your dogs and there's a playground for the little ones.

My family and I love this park! My son's (10&7) love playing the mini course and then going to play on the playground after. The fitness stations and trail are great also. And they added new bathrooms!

Wonderful walking trail with fitness and calisthenics equipment built in along the path. Bathrooms are clean and there are plenty of areas for picnicking.

Love the walking trails. Especially quiet early in the morning. Great place to walk your fur baby to.

THEY JUST OPENED A NEW JUNGLE GYM FOR KIDS!!! The kids really liked it and gave me and my wife time to get our walk on. Each lap on the paved walkway is 3/10ths of a mile. Oh and they also add restrooms which is definitely a plus!

Beautiful spacious park, love that it's fenced in. Clean grounds for children to play.

The disc golf course here is great, no matter your skill set. If your a pro, practice your putter approach shots to if you are a beginner learning to throw this course delivers!!

Great little disc golf course perfect for working on your short game. Family loves the walking and exercise trail as well.

Real well maintained, the area is super nice. Brought my dog here too, leash laws, there's have bags too.

There are two main parts to this park as obviously stated in the name.

The fitness loop, which is a half mile (estimated) loop that has various workout stations spread throughout, such as a dip station, pull up station etc.

The other part is a disc golf course as the name would suggest. 9 holes so it's technically only a half course. All baskets are par 3 and the farthest is about 250 ft so very beginner friendly, but be careful as two of the baskets are along a pretty busy road. I didn't take any pictures last time but I'll update this in the future after I go back.

My husband and walked over to the fitness park not to long ago and really enjoyed going through all the obstacles they have and we had a pleasant workout

Awesome place for kids! We love taking our whole family here and burning some calories for an hour. Excellent atmosphere that is well maintained. Whoever decided to install this workout equipment is a benefactor in many peoples lives. Wonderful experience.

This is honestly one of the greatest parks in the area . Playground , Walking track/trail , disk golf , workout equipment . And soon will be bathroom accesible

Walked the path for the first time and the park is great. My wife wants to become a police officer and the exercise course offers small versions of everything she'll have to do in the PT test. It's also well cared for and seems popular.
