Benny's Bagels

I understand the reviews about the customer service. I tried them today for the first time with my family. The bagels are really good and fresh! It was a take out order so I wasn’t focused too much on their service. Looking forward to trying them again!

I found this gem of a place because I had a taste for bagels. They make the bagels in house! I didn't even know bagels were boiled! They have a sign in the window saying "hearth baked" that appealed to me before even walking in! I ate one everything with veggie cream cheese and quickly returned for another, this time sesame w/strawberry: crispy, fresh, and tasty! New York style bagels and they didn't skimp on the cream cheese! Be sure to patronize this place, you'll be glad you did!

I talked to the lady behind the counter on my 2nd trip and was glad to know they've been a staple in the community for 20 years! I met a lovely couple who are long term repeat customers whose adult children are now repeat customers.

Really excited to see an independently owned bagel place so close to my work and home. Service was great (owners reminded me of my own parents, who would sound like they were yelling at us even if they were not), and the food is tasty. I got the bagel and lox and will be coming back soon!

Got a bakers dozen on my way to work, good variety and the cinnamon raisin walnut cream cheese was a huge hit. These are New York style bagels from a Canadian bagel chain. Fluffier compared to Einsteins in my opinion.

Bagel sandwiches, that hit the spot. What more can I say? This was the perfect meal to start off my Friday. We got a bacon + jalapeno bagel and sausage + asiago bagel. The bagels were warm and the cheese was perfectly ooey gooey when I opened them up at home.

We ordered online and we're able to pick up very quickly. The couple running the shop are nice + as friendly as they need to be.

I've seen reviews complaining that they don't make conversation. They run a bagel business not a friendship business.

If that's not your vibe that's fine but don't expect them to be chatty Cathy's with everyone that walks in.

This place has great bagels and coffee. I had the Early Riser and a mocha and they were both amazing. I was a little wary after reading the reviews but I am glad I made the trip.

The food was really good. I got a croissant breakfast sandwich, and it was really tasty. I asked why they were closing earlier than some other shops (10:30 in Sunday) and the owner stated they had to make it to church. I cannot say how proud of them I am that they put their faith before money, and will be back! Priorities!

Very nice seasoning n flavor in eggs on bfast sandwich. Tons of bagel options. Kids loved the place too

I love this Benny's Bagels location. They are always prompt and provide excellent service. I am a regular here for the last few years and love the early riser.
The people who complain about the ownership being rude are too sensitive in my opinion. You're here to come in get your food and sit to eat or simply leave with your food. I Enjoy the delicious bagels every time I am able to come by. Thank you!

I stop almost every morning. Bagels are awesome and beat Einsteins by far.
They have alot of yummy sounding breakfast bagels. I eat in my car so haven't tried the breakfast bagels cause if they are messy it might be an issue in the car.
Plenty of parking. Fast service. Not very talkitive staff but it doesn't effect the food, lol.
Love the clean enviroment and would have no problem eating inside.

I would choose this particular Benny's over Panera, Egg & I, Starbucks or Einstein's any day. The quality is really great here. I've seen some reviews criticizing the bagels, but I suspect that many people are expecting Montreal style bagels while these are New York style. The bagels are fresh and they are generous with portions. The best thing is the salmon bagel sandwich. Also note that the coffee here is actually good, not just an afterthought. There's always a variety of coffee available.

I've also noticed that some reviews mention poor service. The service itself is fine, just don't expect there to be friendly banter or anything. I personally don't give a bagel's bunghole about "friendliness", especially in a breakfast place. Its hard enough to find one that has good food and good coffee in Dallas. The food is great, the coffee is surprisingly tasteful (not over burned) and the service is quick.

Note that Benny's is no longer a franchise, so this is privately owned. I say that because if you spot a different Benny's, don't expect any similarities.

Needed a place that is open on my way to Downtown Dallas, but not out of my way, for breakfast for early meetings monthly. A change from the regular tacos. Open at 630a, and freshly cooked. Easy and convenient. I will return.

Friendly owners they are a super nice couple always so nice to our son. This was our weekly go to breakfast spot before I got cancer. Was just scanned Cancer Free can’t wait to go back and have our amazing begals

They were so nice & waited for us to get our bagels even though they had closed an hour ago! We felt so bad but they offered! Thank you guys! Above & beyond excellent customer service!

Stop complaining about the customer service. They make great bagels. They’re very friendly. If you want service with a fake smile, go to Starbucks or Einstein’s.

I've been heavily using Doordash for about a year now and Bennys has steadily risen to the top of places that I will order without a moments hesitation when I'm feeling like some lox with onion and capers, delicious bacon and tuna and roast beef on bagels for my lunch.
