When you visit someone's house, and they ask you if you want a beer, if you say, "Mmmm maybe...what do you have," and you have an existential crisis if all they have is Shiner, Corona, Blue Moon, etc because your taste buds are ruined by next level beer.....this is the place for you. They have EVERYTHING-just as much as Specs or any big name liquor store. It's just not labeled as well and you have to rummage around through all the stacks of amazing, rare beers.

Initially, I didn't want to review it because it felt like my precious little Gollum secret, but I need to show some love to the small businesses in my hood. Richardson beer snobs rejoice-this is the spot. Also, they have small specials like a rewards program and 5% off of 6 loose cans. The owner is knowledgeable and will always have recommendations if you're not a seasoned beer enthusiast. 5 stars!

Showed up 5 minutes after they closed. Lights were off and the door was locked. The owner saw us and let us in to make our purchase, even turned the lights back on and helped us choose a product. Extremely nice. My friends and I are not from Texas so we really appreciated it.

Ridiculously good beer selection. My jaw dropped walking in the door and seeing all of the craft beer in the fridge. The owner was super nice as well. Will definitely be coming back here when I work in the area in the future!

Owner is extremely friendly and helpful. If you are looking for suggestions, just ask! He knows his beers and will guide you to your go-to or something new that you’ll like.

Selection -
Whether you are looking for local craft beer or craft beer from some of the best breweries all over the US, you can probably find it there. There is a large selection of single cans/bottles from all over. I can always find someone new to try each time I go.

GREAT beer selection! I was very surprised at how a small store could have such a good beer selection. Highly recommend shopping here if you're looking for a good selection of beers.

This place has a nice selection of beer and wine! I would say it's better than whole foods. I was surprised by how knowledgeable the person attending the store was about the inventory. They have all the usual suspects from deep ellum brewing, new Holland brewing, voodoo Ranger, revolver, rar and son's and various singles. If you are in richardson I don't think you have a better place.

My favorite beer store. Huge selection and the owner is very helpful. For a neighborhood store the prices are very reasonable. I’ve called in several times about certain beers - to which he reached out to his distributors. Try that at central market or Tom Thumb!

Great selection right in my neighborhood. The loyalty program is worth joining if you are a regular. The owner is very nice and helpful when needed. The prices are not competitive, yet the owner runs his own store and I often see his son waiting on him to close up shop. I could save a buck or two running to total wine, but think about how much gas cost.

Really knowledgeable staff too. One actually came out from behind the counter to show different selections to some guy. Prices much lower than I expected. Largest independent beer and wine store I've seen. Haven't been to the wine tastings but fiancee says they're great. Just a really great store all around. Was really surprised about the size. For some reason, thought it would be much smaller.

They now carry Peticolas! Great selection of local craft beers.

Great selection of local and macro beers, friendly staff, and reasonable prices. Generally open late as well. Have some of my favorites at a very reasonable price. Also has a great selection of fancier beers for those looking for small batch, unique craft brews. Solid wine selection as well. Some other alcohols are available as well, such as Fireball.

They have a great beer selection

It looks like your run of the mill, generic beer store. But wow are appearances deceiving here. I drove past dozens of times before stopping by once. Went in, did a double-take when I saw the inventory. They've got an amazing selection, and every time I come back, they've got something new. It's like if a hipster beer store grew up and got respectable but still kept it real.

If you get bored with all the nationally distributed beer that you'll find in every grocery store, this is *the* place to go. Easily one of the best in all of DFW. You'll find amazing beer you didn't even know you wanted!

Staff is exceedingly nice and helpful. Not terribly chatty, which is nice, but they're there to help when you want it.

We moved to the area from the Eastern Shore of MD last month. Of course every area now is a plenty of craft beer, from breweries to tap houses. But to find a decent beer store with a good selection and knowledge of the beers and where they are from is a pleasant surprise. The guys working the store know their stuff and are nice. They have a good selection of local and nationally ranked beers. I don't drink much wine but if I were feeling froggy I would go to Richardson Beer & Wine!

Awesome selection of craft brews with many obscure hard to find bottles. Untapped may not be up to date. Owner was very helpful and recommended a few. Very nice. Will definitely shop there again!
