Lockwood Distilling Company - Richardson

Great place, I can't say enough good things about it. We went on a Saturday night and they had live music that was really good. You can make a reservation on their website, which I don't think is probably necessary, but it helps if you know when you're going. We got the Dirty South Tots, Chicken Tenders and Flank Steak. Everything was great, the steak was cooked perfectly! We filled up a bit on the tots (and a few drinks) so had to get to-go boxes, which I'm not at all upset about because it made a bomb breakfast Sunday morning!

Come for the whiskey, stay for the food. This place is absolutely awesome! I first went because I had tried their whiskey (the cream liquor is absolutely unreal) but their food is even better. Seriously, one of the most underrated places to eat in Dallas.

The pastrami sandwich (really a dressed up Reuben) is probably the best of its kind I’ve ever had, the club sandwich is awesome, the dirty south tots are phenomenal as well. Do yourself a favor and try this spot!

Great place! Food was awesome! I loved it. The craft drinks were very good! We did a flight. I like 2 of the 4 whiskies (one was a bourbon creme so more like dessert but we ordered a bottle. Can't wait for my morning coffee. My type of place! I can't wait to go back!!

Went on a weeknight. The vibe was super chill. Heads up for those with food allergies - the menu looked delicious but there wasn't anything gluten free. Deviled eggs without the fried salami topping was my only choice, but the server was nice and maybe next time I'll ask if they can special make a salad for me. Drinks are good!

Great dining option and atmosphere. All of the servers I’ve had are great! Menu has plenty of options and drinks are always good. Happy customer that will be returning.

First time at Lockwood Distilling Co was a few weeks ago for their delicious brunch! A few ladies and I decided to trip on over to check things out after meeting Big Tony at Urban Seafood for a pairing tasting he hosted called Tiki Cocktail Dinner. First of all, Big Tony was simply amazing. He brought great energy, very knowledgeable, had great self awareness of his audience (can you tell I’m HR), very personable and over all helped make our experience a great one. So much that we decided to take a trip over to the distillery. We were intrigued by the menu at first but once those plates sat before us and from the first bite, each of us was amazed at the flavor and very satisfied with our meals we ordered. We ordered chicken and waffles along with the shrimp and grits. So flavorful, chicken was juicy not dry and seasoned. Delish!!!!!! We are foodies fareals!! Ohhh but those brunch cocktails…yeah BRUNCH PUNCH was my favorite. We tried several others that were good.

Lo and behold Big Tony shows up and showed out on hospitality along with the other staff members making us feel so welcome! He even gave us a light weight quick tour that was FULL of great insights and information. Shout out to the chef for selecting a perfect little snack for us come back crackers I they’re called with sliced pastrami and sauerkraut (you talking about delicious)!!!

We’ll certainly be back! Thank you to all the staff but a special shout of to Big Tony and the Chef for making our Sunday brunch quite lovely!

We had an amazing experience here. We even added a new member to our family (Hey Angie)! Brunch celebration for our dads 80th birthday was such a wonderful experience. Great food, great service, and we all left stuffed. Whiskey flight was lovely!

Angie is our featured member on the shirts. Mostly because she's a sweetheart!

I first discovered this place because they were selling a $50 retail bottle of wine for $9.99. I bought 2 cases. 🤣 Although a distillery, they occasionally have these phenomenal wine specials. While picking up the wine I saw that dining was available. I went back for lunch. The shrimp and grits were different than your “traditional” shrimp and grits but were good. My partner had the Pastrami Sandwich which was also very good. I will definitely be back for dinner when they have live music.

Came to Lockwood during the week to do a little work and couldn't help but sample the whiskey, tots, and mac & cheese, all of which were fantastic. Their specialty old-fashioned was delicious, and their house draft old-fashioned was as well. The staff were very friendly and checked on me often to ensure that I was having a good experience. I will definitely be returning to sample more of the food and drinks.

Love this place! I used to mainly get TX brand whiskey from specs which is good, but the specialty liquors from Lockwood are really unique and different. The head distiller Jason is great! Their bourbon and vodka are two of our favorites in our current rotation. Plus good bites, live music and patio - super fun spot for a date night! Really can’t go wrong with this place, definitely recommend.

Great ambience, food and drinks. Nice gentle live music this afternoon with a trumpeter and guitarist. Had the pastrami with potato salad, and my date had chicken tenders. Both were delicious. No beer available but they have a nice selection of drinks. Highly recommend

LDC never disappoints. Their frozen cocktails are what I come for and they are absolutely delicious. The food is stellar too. If you’re looking for something unique and not your typical “chain restaurant” - this is the spot!

Birthday treat✔ The best kept secret in Richardson. We went 1 pm Monday. A pleasant atmosphere with great music but not so loud that we could enjoy our conversation. The food was extremely flavorful. Definitely our new go to for Date night.

I happened to stumble upon this place, after work, for my birthday celebration with friends... it was a great find!
Our orders were in at a perfect time and drinks were mixed well to our liking! (This was all from us describing our different preferences.)
We had just ate dinner but wanted some sort of appetizer to enjoy while having our drinks, the lovely lady attending us made the suggestion for the tater tots. I wish I had gotten her name and taken a photo of the tots before devouring them... because hands down these are the best tots we've ever tasted 😋.
Glad we ended up here and would highly recommend!

We only recently discovered this place and we only live minutes away... we had stayed away because it gave us the impression that it was not a kid friendly place (we have a 2 and 3 year old). We were wrong! (Of course, it's a lot more enjoyable without kids but they're definitely welcome).

Service has been exceptional. We love to go here for appetizers and cocktails. We have tried every cocktail in the menu and my absolute favorite is the Paloma, my husband loves the old fashion (the one with the single ice cube, I can't remember the name). We've been guilty of getting multiple nachos and tater tots! 🤤

We've invited friends over, and they have also fallen in love with the atmosphere (wonderful live music), appetizers, and drinks. We try to squeeze in a date night once per month without kids and usually pick Lockwood.

Oh. And they have some amazing bottles to go. We recently purchased a chocolate Bourbon and let family try it. They were all asking us where we had gotten it, we ended up giving some as Christmas gifts.

My boyfriend had such a great first experience at Lockwood that he brought me the very next day!!

We split the chicken tender dinner which ended up being perfect! We each got two pieces of chicken, Mac and cheese, and tots which we upgraded to the truffle ones. I am not the biggest fan of tater tots and unfortunately thought they were more oily than flavorful, but have since been back and tried the dirty south tots which I liked better!

The drinks were average in my opinion, but the environment and staff definitely make it a place worth returning to for a date night, happy hour, or whatever you’re into! Lots of options and reasonable prices/portions!

My husband and I absolutely love Lockwood Distillery! They have the best food and drinks. We love the atomsphere and the live music. It’s a fun place to go to and we love taking our out of town guests to Lockwood. Jason is an amazing staff member and always available to help! We can’t wait to go back soon and would highly recommend!

I was actually pretty impressed with Lockwood. The food was great (chicken strips ate huge, moist and crispy), the drinks were flavorful and the atmosphere was just the right pace. The Manhattans were great and the hot drink menu makes for a much needed suprise on a cold evening. I would highly recommend making a visit!

And to think we almost went to a snappy salads??? I saw Lockwood as we were about to cross to 75 and my dad made a u turn so fast you’d think they were giving away money. But wow so glad he did! Lockwood distillery was fantastic. The drinks and food were both reasons to go back for… especially because there are so many good looking options it would be impossible to get them all in one go. That being said we will definitely be getting the ahi tuna nachos when we return!

The vibes of the place were great, with lots of seating and very friendly service, there’s not much more you would want in the local neighborhood distillery/brewery category.

Came here for the first time today. We started with the charcuterie and cocktails. Ordered several different drinks and all were good. Food was tasty, we all had sandwiches. After being there for awhile, they had live music and the singer was very good. Great afternoon hanging with friends, exactly what we were looking for!
