We have been several times. Very fast and friendly service. I quite enjoy the food. Great burger, fresh salads. Lots of great meat dishes. Loved the red bean and andouille sausage soup they had today. They are a small hole-in-the-wall type place, and I think it’s pretty great for what it is. The food far surpasses the decor.

The food is just incredible. You can tell their culinary skills are superior, because everything is made to perfection. No extra seasoning needed, your taste buds will rejoice!

My husband and I just finished dining at Ye Shire Tavern... every morsel, and each bite was heavens delight! The braised beef short ribs were so tender they should ban knives! The tilapia was boiled with a crabmeat butter cracker topping and was so incredibly flavorful we almost ordered one to go!
And as if those delightful dishes weren’t yummy enough, we both decided to order dessert...the chocolate cake was moist and flavorful however the award goes to the carrot cake!! I promise it was so moist and delicious until I almost asked John if they could ship them out of town. I tried to save half for later but, unfortunately or fortunately I inhaled it as if my life depended upon it for survival! Can’t wait until I’m in TX again!
Loved the food so much came back to try another dish! Shrimp PO boy sandwich- the shrimp are fresh the bread is soft and authentic and the chips/fries are fantastic. Hint I ordered BBQ sauce to go with the fried and this sauce is OMGood!!!

It's super sweet! I am here right now...this guy I forget who, playing guitar and just playing whatever requests....Journey, Meatloaf, Neil Diamond, Beach Boys, Johnny Cash...The Eagles...I mean...lietarally whatever. Cool! Great service with the bar team and I just had this awesome prime rib...wujuuuuu!!! Thank you I am a happy guy!

These guys were incredible. I showed up after an event I hosted at the Cambria with about 10 other guys. We worried it was too many people for their staff, but they really showed up and impressed us. They let us use the back room and sat us promptly. Fantastic cocktails, really great food (amount and quality are all great for the price), and organized, prompt, and super polite service. Our waiter Hayden was great, and we really appreciated the manager accommodating for us.

Interior is really cool -- dark with wood paneling, like an actual pub/tavern with lots of vintage paintings -- but carpeted -- so you could easily take a date or come with a small group of friends for good conversations. We didn't sit at the bar, but it had a great vibe to it.

My whole crew loved the food, especially the steak and onions -- we *highly* recommend the blue cheese kettle chips. It was also A LOT OF FOOD. These guys made an already good night into a great memorable night. Thanks a bunch to a very awesome staff and crew, my team has already said they want to go back next time.

EXCELLENT food! We go there periodically. Went during Christmas and went again last night with my hubby. Split a meal since their portions are plentiful. I've never had anything I didn't like. Just a nice, quiet atmosphere. John, the manager, is very accommodating and the staff always friendly and efficient. Plus, they have a room in the back you can reserve for meetings or parties. Highly recommend them.

They left us alone just enough to let us get a good feel of the place but not too attentive that they were annoying. The food is absolutely delicious by the way. We shared the deviled eggs, the shrimp cocktail and the prime rib sandwich. All of which were very fresh and bursting with flavor. Was not disappointed in the least.

This is a really nice place for dinner and a drink. The meatloaf is very good and generous. Mashed potatoes were served hot and plentiful. The mixed vegetables were under cooked just a tad for my taste. Those who like them aldente would say perfect. We had appetizers of jalapeno poppers, fried mozzarella cheese and a spicy chicken cheese too. All three were great. I didn't care for the Pizza though. The vegetarians will love it though. My wife enjoyed the prime rib and mashed potatoes immensely.

I was staying across the George Bush Highway at the Marriott Courtyard. I was referred to another restaurant in the same complex but I found this place inviting as I passed by. I entered and was quickly seated and the waiter arrived promptly to take my order. After over 4 years in the Republic of Panama, I had a craving for some good beef and Ye Shire Tavern did not disappoint. I had the 16 ounce sliced Prime Rib, with house potatoes and vegetables. Although the bar was well stocked, I settled for a Samuel Adams beer to round it out. The Prime Rib was tasty and tender, the sides were plentiful. Small understatement as the meal arrived on two plates. Definitely did not leave hungry.

This place is great. The place is clean, the staff is friendly, and they care about you being happy. All of the food is fresh nothing is frozen except maybe the desserts and ice lol. I have dietary restrictions and so does my mother. They helped us mix and match the food to where i can eat it. I had the patty melt and it was the best patty melt i have ever had. I'm a certified chef and i loved it. I love seeing an open kitchen. The server took time to talk with us and was very friendly. You have to try it for yourself. Plus they use high quality ingredients with all of their food. Our server's name John. I would ask for him i really enjoined talking to him and he was attentive.

Love this place for a nice quiet lunch. Food is always great. Waldorf Salad is very delicious. Burgers and sandwiches are also great. If you are looking for something a little different give the Prime Rib sandwich a try. The "chips" are also one of my favorite items.

Delicious food and amazing homemade pineapple martini's! Love coming here to meet up with family and enjoy the family atmosphere. Everytime we come in we try and go down the menu, and we have not had one bad thing! Even our dog Bruin ( yellow lab) loves to come and enjoys the chefs prime rib!! We love the owner he always comes by the table to chat with each customer to make sure they are enjoying themselves. We plan to keep coming back! Not one bad thing to say about this place, we love it!

Friendly relaxed atmosphere. Seat yourself. The service was five stars. I had the crab cake appetizer on a bed of lettuce with two dipping sauces - crab cake was full size and delicious. Also had the Waldorf salad with grilled salmon - salmon was generous, cooked to perfection, and delicious, the salad was clean and fresh. I'm giving it five stars since this is the best meal I've had in my 10 days of travel, better than several five star restaurant s that I ate at. Yum.

I've never had anything there that I wouldn't recommend, but the prime rib and the fish and chips are particularly good. For lighter fare, the tomato mozzarella caprese and Waldorf salads (try it with grilled salmon) are both excellent. Best carrot cake I've ever had. Friendly staff.

I was invited to go here last weekend by a friend. I enjoyed it all. The food is pricey but very tasty. I had the Meatloaf with brown gravy(never had b4) with green peas and fancy mash. Tasty tasty tasty! Others had Fish & Chips also very tasty. I noticed others plates coming out with equally palatable faire! Ended it with a Chocolate Mousse! So good! I really like this place. Other than a short wait it was very delish. I really like it when the owner or manager ask how it was? He did and thats missing in to days world where you come in sit down and leave hardly have spoken to anyone. Very good!☺

Great atmosphere. Jessica the Great was a spectacular bartender. She was always anticipating our every need. Jon the owner really made us feel a part of the neighborhood even though we were from out of town. It was a very pleasant experience overall, and I will definitely make this part of our next visit.

Absolutely I am in love with this place. My food is always freash.There mozzarella sticks are the best ever. I drive an hour just to eat here. You just have to try everything on the menu!

Outstanding service, atmosphere and most of all, quality of food. Very reasonable prices and the food is so good. I've tried almost everything on the menu, and have never been disappointed. Highly recommend this restaurant!

We stopped in for a drink, everyone was so welcoming and that was very nice! It was a great place to stop and relax and have a drink after a very busy day. The food looked amazing too, will definately be back for dinner soon!

The Waldorf salad with salmon was delicious! The salmon was perfectly cooked, they use a homemade lemon vinagrette dressing which is perfect for that salad, beautiful flavors. The prime rib is fantastic, meatloaf is a classic. When you need a good hearty meal this is the place to go. Also the lunchs are great for business.
