John is friendly and easy to talk to, but beware, a handshake deal means nothing to him. We had a "gentleman's agreement" while the application was processing and the deal was revoked shortly after (John also failed to extend the courtesy of telling me that he had reneged on our agreement) because he found someone else that he would rather rent to after he informed my wife and I that we were given first priority on the property.
