I’ve passed by this store hundreds of times but today was my first time to stop by — so glad I did, I was very impressed. Wonderful selection of rugs, I found exactly what I was looking for and they are very reasonably priced for such good quality. The rugs I bought have a beautiful pattern and texture, they are soft, well-made, and there was no off-gassing smell like I’ve experienced with rugs I’ve purchased online. The customer service is excellent here, Mr. Hajer was very kind, patient, and helpful as I deliberated over which rugs to purchase. He answered all of my questions and offered some good advice on where to place the rug in relationship to my furniture to get the most out of it. When one of the rugs I bought didn’t fit in the space where I wanted it, I was able to exchange it for the right size very quickly and easily. The staff loaded the rugs into my car for me while I was checking out, I didn’t even have to ask. Truly lovely store and lovely people, I’ll definitely be back again in the future. The guys here were fantastic. The dedication to helping you find the rug to fit what you want is top notch here. The gentleman that helped us basically got a workout picking up, moving, setting several rugs (big 8x11 rugs) in various locations to show us how the light changed based on where you put it and to compare it to others we were considering.

The prices are fair and the selection is nice for East Texas.

All in all, I would certainly recommend the Rug Outlet & Gallery. Good guys making an honest living selling a quality product.

Great store. Lots of choices, very clean. Mr. Steve Hajer was very helpful, as were his assistants. We came several times looking and trying to decide, and Mr. Hajer was interested in helping us find the rugs we wanted. He listened to our comments and was quick to see what colors and styles we were leaning towards, even pulling out other rugs in similar patterns and styles that he thought we might like. One great suggestion he offered was perhaps stick to the same collection, which I did not readily think about. We had an issue with the size and color on a couple of rugs, they just didn’t look right in my rooms, and he graciously offered to exchange them.

My parents have purchased several rugs on different occasions from Rug Outlet and Gallery, and they have always been very pleased with their rugs and service. (Mr. Hajer even remembered my mother from previous purchases). I am also a very satisfied customer who plans on further purchases from this business. There are other rug stores in Tyler, but this should be your first stop-and probably the only stop necessary.

We have a new home with concrete floors and have been looking for affordable rugs. We have shopped in Webster, Houston, Waco, Palestine and Tyler. We have a ranch style house and wanted a rustic/southwestern looking rug for the main room and we needed a big one. Rug Outlet & Gallery did not have a huge number, but we were lucky to find just the right one (or actually two). We worked with Steve and he was extremely helpful and not pushy. The rugs look great ... we are very happy with our purchase.

I had been looking for a dining room rug for a very long time & after several failed online attempts & returns I could not match a rug with my wallpaper (that is almost impossible to do & has been recommended by some professionals to just repaint or repaper ) . We were in Tyler, Tx & decided to stop at Rug Outlet & Gallery on Loop 323 . I was met by Steve & explained to him the discouragement that I was feeling & all of the trouble I had experienced in finding “the perfect rug “ for my dining room . He listened intently , was very polite , & after I showed him a picture of my dining room’s beige & copper colored country roosters, he led me to a rug for my consideration . Then upon my request he gave me his input which turned out to be very helpful . The rug at first sight was not what I would have even looked at without his help, but it was very pretty . After looking at 1 or 2 more choices & conversing with him some more I decided to take 2 samples home with me & the first one that he had showed me was 1 of them . I realized at home when looking at the samples that he was very knowledgeable & that I had found “ the perfect dining room rug . It is a brown trellis 5’ 3” by 7’ 6” rug from the Sultan Collection . It is of good quality , rich colors (colorfast ) , & stain resistant. I am so happy with this purchase ! When I returned the 2 samples & purchased the rug & 2 smaller matching rugs I realized what a big selection of rugs that this store carries with a second room that I did not look in at the time but I have plans to return & browse . We recently moved to Tyler and needed some area rugs for our floor. We stopped by Rug Outlet & Gallery on the loop to check them out. We bought 4 beautiful rugs in different sizes. The selections, prices and customer service were top notch.

We have been looking for an area rug for what seemed like months! Found Rug Outlet & Gallery on the internet and so happy that I did! Steve, the owner was fantastic in not only helping us find and choose a rug, he went beyond! The amount of rugs to look at can be over-whelming but it was worth doing so. Mr. Hajer and his son are so welcoming, helpful, patient and accommodating. The rugs are gorgeous and very high quality. There are rugs of every size, shape and style. We will for sure be back in the future, next time we need a new rug.

Nice selection of rugs and various sizes and shapes, good service, not 100 % on sure they are the best price but the quality seems good, much better than Home Depot quality and selection. They wrapped the rugs we selected to protect for transport. I would recommend!

Been looking at rugs at some stores in Dallas and really didn't see anything that we really liked plus the store employees were no help when we asked questions. We live in the Lake Fork area so I googled Rugs in the Tyler area. Rug Outlet & Gallery came up so we headed that way. Nafez met us at the door asked us a few questions and directed us towards the area we needed to start looking. If it wasn't for Nafez we would have brought home the wrong rug. We should him some pics of our living room and he gave us some suggestions on colors, was very knowledgeable, he even laid out 3 different rugs so we could compare. Definitely will shop there again and I will recommend my friends to him as well.

These guys have a great selection of rugs in many different styles. Steve knows rugs backwards and forwards and will do everything he can to help you pick the right ones. Top notch products, and even better customer service.
