The Service was amazing, The Food was even better. The Price was just right. There's not a thing I could complain about. It was a great dining experience.

I've been coming here for a long time. It's been a good long while since my last visit...but the staff treated me like Id never left!!! This place is so awesome!!

I stopped by here with some family members for a graduation lunch. The wait staff was constantly making sure our table was taken care of. They had no problems accommodating our group of around 12 people. The menu is quite large. The food was prepared quickly. Everything was delicious. All members of our party were delighted with their meals. Most of my group had leftovers because of the large portion size. I am looking forward to going here again.

Fantastic food, friendly service, great prices. Server was very attentive, food was deliciously seasoned and atmosphere was family friendly and relaxed. Lovely murals and decor. Really impressed with the staff. They were really awesome and made us feel very welcome. Delicious warm tortilla chips and fresh salsa on the table as soon as we were seated. Will definitely be returning.

Rio Verde has become a treasured favorite of my husband and I. The food is great, the people working there are truly so kind, accommodating and always make us feel welcome and remembered. The atmosphere is nice - not as wild as some places that are going heavily for the full "theme" but clean, spacious and nice. The margaritas are good too!

I’ve been coming here since I moved to WV (2017). It’s one of my favorites places to eat! I always order the lunch special #12 with rice. The service here is great, food is amazing. Honestly I could eat here everyday.

Best sit-down Mexican food around! Staff is already so friendly. The food is always perfect and served fast. Great for lunch or dinner. Desserts there are some of my kid's favorites.

AWESOME. They actually know how to season food, unlike all the bland Mexican restaurants around. And, the prices are good and the value high.

The beef tips quesadillas was super tasty, like a Mexican beef stew. Loved the creamy cheese they used on the quesadillas and tacos. Enchiladas, beans and rice were excellent as well. We are from Denver Colorado so we were missing some green chili, but overall great Mexican food.

ABSOLUTELY LOVE LOVE LOVE!!!! No better Mexican in the WORLD than RIO! Been coming here 28yrs & the food, service & atmosphere have never been anything short of AMAZING!!!! Won't even waste my money at ANY other Mexican Restaurant in or 50mi around Morgantown!!! GET THE BURRITO TEXANO!!! YOU'RE WELCOME!!!!

I was really surprised. I ordered a shrimp chimichanga dinner and it must have had a pound of shrimp in it. Seasoned well not bland and not overcooked

I loved it! Everyone was so polite the food was amazing and the paintings on the wall was to die for! Needless to say ill be back thanks for the amazing first experience!!!

Food is absolutely amazing, you get that real authentic flavor in every bite. The establishment is fairly clean and our waiter was absolutely the most kind polite person you could possibly ask for. This will be my go to restaurant for "AUTHENTIC" Mexican food!! Stop in you will love it!!

Update 12/20/22: I am reconsidering changing my rating to a four star. My biggest complaint? Can you please stop taking all my money? The pollo crema is definitely recommended, but not my go to dish because I like spicy things. Thank you

ORIGINAL: I will eat here JUST FOR THE SALSA. I have not had a Mexican restaurant that has pleased my taste buds forever since the place in Buckhannon (Maronas? Carmonas? Its been too long) Closed down many years ago. I just Doordarshed, but now I think I'll have to make a trip in soon. Do not change this salsa. DO NOT.

The dinner menu seems a bit expensive for the area and competitors, but I will say the food was very great and customer service was fantastic. Very nice folks working!

Food is a little above average, price is about average if not a little high. But the food was good, service was good. The salsa was a little watery but the flavor and spice was there. The margaritas though we're GREAT. Strong, delicious, and totally worth it. A fun dining experience.
