Blue Moose Coffeehouse

We were in town for a night. Spotted this place as a good establishment for coffee. It opened up at 8am, and we were one of the first customers.

The coffee was excellent and the bagels were fresh. It got busy after about 20 minutes. There is tons of space on the inside. A few different rooms to sit in. It was very clean and well kept. If you want a good cup of coffee stop at the Blue Moose Coffeehouse!

I love this place! Best bagels that I’ve ever had. Fresh whole blueberries in the blueberry bagel. Cheddar kneaded into the cheddar bagel so perfectly you get cheese pulls when you pull it apart! 😍 it is heavenly.

There are very few places with decaf coffee available in this city. I appreciate they always make me a decaf drip coffee fresh when I come in as I can’t drink caffeine!

Had a cheddar bagel and some coffee, and they were both excellent. The bagels were perfect and I wish I knew where they got them from!!! The space is also very nice to hang out in, there’s plenty of comfortable seating and the large windows are wonderful.

The coffee is amazing and they have a variety of milk options from you to pick from. I love the pastries they have. I recently tried the toasted bagels with lox cream cheese. The bagel was toasted too much but you could tell it was a good quality bagel since it was still soft from it being burnt. The lox cream cheese was delicious.

This coffee house is under new ownership and has been updated. Very comfortable and inviting. The bagels and pastries are made at nearby Zeke's, and the selection changes often (the lemon cake is unbelievable!). I tried the cream cheese with lox mixed in on my toasted bagel and will definitely order it again--after I try some of the other flavors. Note that this is a coffee shop, they don't serve sandwiches.

Great food, really friendly service, and a wonderful place to spend a weekend morning. The ambience here is peaceful but fun. everytime I come here, I always notice something new about the decor

Came for coffee right at 7am, service was great and so was the coffee. There were many indoor seating options and tables being setup outside. Will come back!

Had lunch here today! The new bagels were absolutely delicious. As a former barista, I noticed a huge quality difference with the new coffee and tea, and I was so happy with my drinks. I love the new bright look, and I feel like the whole place got a major facelift and looks much more welcoming and less dark and dingy. The service, as always was great.

Beautifully redone and renovated! The new owners have greatly improved the coffee and food quality from what came before. Anyone who is complaining about new owners just doesn’t like change. The old shop served low quality food and coffee. It was dirty and failed health inspections constantly. The new owners have helped keep a staple of Morgantown up and running while significantly improving it and avoiding letting the business be taken over by another trashy vape shop, bar, or club.

Stopped in for a quick latte. The place looked bright and inviting. The bagel was top notch, unfortunately it couldn’t compete with the stellar service. Thanks David and Nikki, you made my afternoon.

My wife and I stopped in here with our oldest daughter. Although you can't get a full breakfast with eggs etc the bagels that they have are exquisite. My wife and I both got bagels with locks and it was tremendous. They have a pretty good assortment of teas and coffees that will tickle your palate. It's a neat little place tucked away in Morgantown here. It definitely does bagels right! I'll give it a easy thumbs up

Great food and coffee! The renovation not only made the space better, but the quality of the food and the coffee noticeably improved from an already good starting point. This change has revitalized a Morgantown institution.

Easy spot to walk to in downtown Morgantown! We really enjoyed the coffee, hot apple cider, pumpkin coffee cake, and the sundried tomato cream cheese bagel!

The Blue Moose Cafe is a great place to go for a quick breakfast bite. The food is always delicious and the service is excellent. The atmosphere is also very welcoming and comfortable. I highly recommend The Blue Moose Cafe to anyone looking for a great meal.

Cool vibe after the owner transition. I’ve been looking for a good bike commuting breakfast stop, and while they only have bagels, it was a good bagel and killer cream cheese.

This an entirely different Blue Moose than the one I knew in undergrad and this is a good thing. They’re using Black & White coffee, one of my favorite roasters, and the space is cleaner and looks far better than ever before.

The blue Moose Café is a absolute iconic staple of Morgantown West Virginia. I went there as a kid almost every single day until I moved away years ago) and I recently went back for a friends wedding. I couldn’t believe how nostalgic, and wonderful everything still was. Try the bagel and hummus sandwich :-) service was excellent. The young girls that took care of me were very attentive, and when I told them it was a special trip, they went out of their way to make it special for me. If you’re looking for a relaxing place to have a cuppa coffee watch some of the local color, and grab a quick bite to eat I recommend it highly

Always love it here. The atmosphere, service, and coffee is unmatched. I've finished so many assignments/papers/exam reviews in here. The environment is extremely welcoming and I've never had a barista that gave less than exceptional service.

I try to stop in here everytime I'm in Morgantown. If I lived there, I'd be a regular. Try their chai or maple latte, and pair it with a bagel!
