Upper Deckers Creek Wildlife Management Area Parking

I travel here from time to time to operate my amateur radio.

The drive to the little parking area is hidden in a residential area, but there is a sign somewhat near the road. I couldn't see it from the road, but it's there. Very pretty wetland area with two ponds. Area isn't too wet, so you won't need mucking boots. There's a trail mowed a little bit for going up in the hill and looking over both ponds. Some forest bird species. Lots of pretty dragonflies and damselflies for observing. A few pretty wild flowers spread throughout as well. Per usual, be aware of poison ivy and nettle plants.

Good view and decent fishing good place to catch sunfish and bass.
