Econo Lodge

This hotel is an older one around town. The carpets are really dirty and very worn and should have be replaced in the 1980s. The rooms are dirty and there is a smell that you can't forget. The morning clerk is rude and very short with everyone. I stayed for 2 nights because I was exhausted. But I think that will be the last time I go there. They kept asking me for my service animal certificate and why did she not wear the vest that say service animal.

The two gentlemen at the front desk were extremely kind and friendly! My room was clean and comfortable. Staff was completely accommodating that I had a dog as well. Some reviewers seemed to have neglected to notice that this location is not a resort. You receive more than enough value from the fair rate you're charged per night. I'm at a loss what more you could ask for. The location is great, the room doors are inside behind locked doors that require key entry, rooms are clean, the surroundings are safe, and the staff are fantastic.

Sept 2-23 wow this room smells like it had 100 cats in this room that sprayed all over. Very intoxicating. Like a Litter box and my cats at there litter box don't smell. This bad.

Very nice place dog friendly. Don't get the back door room it opens and closes all night. And the back door gets stuck open so anyone can just walk in .

The room was very clean but smelled a bit smokey. The staff was super attentive to my needs. My only complaint, if I had to, would be housekeeping knocking at 8:00am and asking, "You check out?" I said, "Not yet" "Oh, you stay?" "No, it's only 8am. Check out is at 11am. Come back then please and thank you. "
They serve a continental breakfast until 9am.
There is a McDonald's about 50 feet away and a subway across the street. There is a BigLots next door and a smoke and vape nearby with a cannabis across the street with the subway.
There are no sidewalks, so you have to walk in the grass by the road.

I'm giving 5 stars for multiple reasons. Firstly the price was great. The rooms are recently remodeled. SUPER VALUE!! Secondly the service upfront. The gentleman help me with a couple problems I had, and I never felt uncomfortable or unwanted. VARY Kind and Professional. Lastly the location, your close to I68-I79. So many restaurants in WALKING distance. That's big with gas prices so high. I will definitely come back again!!!!

I’ve been staying for for almost 2 weeks, I’m very pleased with this hotel, the staff is very kind hearted and helpful in anyway, The rooms are always clean, the TVs work, so many channels to choose from. The Ac/Heater warms or cools the room up within 2 minutes, The shower is amazing, Always clean towels, they smell amazing, Beds are so comfortable, Makes me wanna stay in the morning haha, The feel of the rooms are really have a home type of feeling. This hotel has a washer and dryer, and vending machines. There’s parking on both sides of the building so you can see your vehicle from your window. Quite and peaceful. I rate this hotel 10/10 I would highly recommend this hotel.

There are a lot of mixed reviews online about this particular location which made me hesitant to book but I'm glad that I did. The front desk staff has been very courteous and friendly. There has been a nice breakfast every morning consisting of assorted cereals, muffins and honey buns, juices, hit coffee and tea, and a Belgian waffle maker with butter and syrup. The rooms are spacious and the beds are very clean and more importantly bug free! I would definitely return back to this establishment and recommend this to others

This was a great hotel to stay. Rooms were clean. And rates were excellent for the time of pandemic. Management was excellent and if there was a customer unhappy, they immediately made sure the problem was taken care of and that the stay was comfortable. Highly recommend staying here

I really enjoyed my stay at this location! I was there alot longer than I had planned to be and the staff was supporting and accommodating.
Clean space, nice size bathrooms and a comfortable bed made my stay alot more relaxing !

My husband and I didn't have any problems when we was there everyone was very nice to us

the rooms are pretty cozy, there’s a large selection for parking on both sides, and the staff members are very understanding, kind, & extremely helpful! if given a chance, i recommend staying!

I left a nice Gold colored necklace worth 10$ but it waa important to me and they returned it. They are very honest.

STAFF WAS SUPER NICE. EVEN GOT ME A ROOM NEAR MY RELATIVES ALSO STAYING AT SAME HOTEL. ROOM CLEAN, SHOWER WAS WARM, AND BED CONFORTABLE. LOTS OF CHANNELS ON TV AND FRIDGE IN ROOM. RIGHT OFF HIGHWAY AND BEAR WV UNIVERSITY. DOG FRIENDLY. NICE GRASS HILL TO WALK YOUR DOG. WHEN CHECK OUT REMEMBER TO TELL THEM YOU DIDN'T USE SAFE SO YOU DON'T PAY SAFE CHARGE. PRICE WAS VERY GOOD. I WOULD STAY THERE AGAIN.
