This is the place to get authentic Chinese cuisine in Tuscaloosa area. Really enjoyed Mala xiang guo.

Food and service were good. The Lunch menu was simple and decently priced, but the lunch portion was a little small.

We ordered Shrimp with egg and cilantro, Mala Squid and basil eggplants at LaiLai and it's very tasty. They don't use MSG so you won't come home thirsty which we appreciate. The chef uses spices to give that flavorful taste. The service is always attentive. The price is affordable for the high quality food. Let's support this local chinese restaurant.

I've eaten there twice. Each visit they were very clean, the food was high quality, flavorful, and not greasy. The Szeuchian and Mongolian Beef plates were both very.

Coming from up north, this is by far the best Chinese food we have found to date in Alabama! Had the General’s chicken (crispy and delicious) and vegetable lo mein with shrimp (took 1/2 home). Oh and be sure to get their dumplings! Will definitely be going back!

This is one of my absolute favorite places in this area. I can't say enough about how much I like the people, food, and everything.

I travel to Tuscaloosa twice a month from Orlando and I always look forward to eating here on my visits. Staff is friendly and service is quick, prices are extremely reasonable and most importantly the food is utterly fantastic. Order the Beef Black Pepper Sauce, Sweet and Sour Chicken or Triple Kung Pao - You will not be disappointed.

I never write reviews, but this place deserves my praise wholeheartedly.

Me and my family love this restaurant. We have been here many times and I have never had a bad meal and neither have my family. The waitress and manager is always so nice. Truly one of the finest restaurants in town.

Easily the best Chinese restaurant I have ever been too. Ms. Lisa is amazing and so is their food. I have never been disappointed with anything I've had there, and I would eat there far more often if I could afford it. I know they've had to raise their prices a few times recently because of inflation, but that's understandable (especially when you consider the quality of ingredients). It's just hard on those of us stuck on a grad student fixed stipend. Lol.

Lai Lai is a wonderful authentic Chinese restaurant. Mrs. Lisa has the best menu and the tastiest food. I get the house fried rice plate with a side of won tons. Green bean chicken is a favorite too. Everything is always good.

Food is always excellent. Service is excellent. Friendly. The absolute best egg drop soup in Tuscaloosa(If Im sick that's my go to) The rest of the food is equally as awesome. I have followed them from on the UA to Northport and I don't regret it. Highly recommend this place.

Tried this Place for the 1st Y'day &The Flavor of the Food Was Amazing! I Will definitely recommend & definitely be back to try other dishes. I had dumplings, not sure what's the name of the sauce that's comes with them but man that flavor was amazing dumplings were season very well might I add. I also had crab wontons could use more filling but the were good! Hot &Sour Soup great in flavor but some of my cracker to go with the soup were on the burned side. Sz Chicken had a generous portion an was very good in flavor! The Lychee drink was great too. My experience overall was amazing and worth the visit!

Decent egg drop and hot and sour soup. Ordered Honey chicken, General chicken and House fried rice... Excellent taste, lightly breaded and crispy with white meat and perfectly "seasoned" not drowned with sauce. Reasonable portions for the price. Very pleasant service and not overly attentive on a very slow night. You are missing out if you live here and haven't tried this place. Go...this week...even if you've already had Chinese food this week.

Always pleasant service! Food is delicious. My favorite is Buddha Delight. But everything I tried is great. I miss LaiLai being on The Strip, but it is nice to actually find a parking spot before heading in!
