This is the only place I go to get my hair braided, she takes her time and makes sure your hair comes out phenomenal! When I make an appointment I can count on her to be there and ready at that time! I get knotless braids of varying sizes and you can tell she really tries to style your hair in a way that you’ll love.

Mrs. Anna has done it again! As I said in my last post, she is the best braider in New Haven. The first pic is of knotless braids she did for me in October which lasted 2 months and looked fresh all the way to the end. The second pic is of cornrows she did a few days ago. After having a difficult time finding good hair braiders in the west haven/new haven area, I came across this little shop. I called for a consultation and was given a time to come in. I was seated immediately and the braider was very gentle and quick with my hair. I got my hair braided within 2hrs. My style costed slightly more then what I was told over the phone but that is ok. Will be returning! You gained a new customer😁 my braids are clean and neat!

The service was awesome and quick. I made sure to book an appointment and the ladies were ready waiting for me. They did it just as I wanted and unlike other places where I have been they made sure to show me any products they were applying to my hair. For some reason I did not feel any pain even tough I am known to have a very sensitive head. I will definitely go back, I recommend

Anna was professional and courteous she waisted no time starting my hair. As a matter of fact she was set up and prepared to start as soon as I arrived. She practiced all mandated pandemic precautions and my hair came out perfect. The parts are neat and my scalp isn’t hurting, I will be returning and I highly recommend her services to anyone looking to have their hair braided. The shop is clean and the bathroom was white glove clean.

This is my second visit to this salon. I’m as equally pleased with the second visit as I was with the first. She listens to you, gives recommendations when needed, is attentive to you when you’re in her chair and overall a pleasant and relaxing atmosphere.

Honestly, this was the best braiding service that I’ve had so far. I called the day of to book my appointment and I was literally in her chair two hours later. My braids weren’t tight at all. The parting was very neat and the braids were the size that I asked for. On top of all that, I sat down in her chair at noon and was out by 4pm. Needless to say, I will be coming back again.

I got my hair done today with Mrs Anna, she was wonderful sweet and listened. She has such a sweet spirit, the shop is so clean. Anna and her sister made me feel right at home. I absolutely love my hair.

Anna has been my hairdresser for years. I have had many African hair braiders but she is by far the most professional! I usually get box braids or Senegalese twists. She's polite and professional and is careful of my edges! She also works quickly! So glad she has her own salon now.
