Very well maintained store. Fresh produce that are rotated often.
Like that there are affordable and expensive alternatives of different food items. Love the saver wall where they have their items on sale.

a store that is open until the evening and you can stop by and shop for a wonderful evening pastime. There is a large free parking. A large selection of everything. and quite clean, unlike New York

Always neat and clean. Fresh produce. Large deli meat brand selection (including cheeses). Meats section is very clean AND the packages are never sticky with meat juices. Large organics selection. Not a big amount of sweet freshly baked goods but there is a nice selection of loaves and bagels. There is always a great sale happening. The best time IMO to shop there is before 3pm because the lines are longer but they do move quickly. Handicap accessible. Huge parking lot.

Seemingly the one business in all of downtown that has a public bathroom! (Literally 5-star just for that alone.)

Clean, have never had any issues, very friendly employees.

We had numerous trips to this particular shop. You will get everything that you need starting from fresh vegetables to frozen foods to liquors. Space for parking is available. However, this place is a little bit odd considering the safety.

Other that the price and service stop and shop is easily 5 stars.

I love this Stop & Shop because their food is always fresh, always new, they always have a reliable stock and enough new flavors to make your shopping experience fun and eventful. I'm also an avid reader and every month they have a new variety of books for sale and they offer 20% off any best seller on their top 10 list, clearly posted with large font, which makes it fun as well. They also Supply almost every variety of cat food and their prices aren't cheap but they're average for the market. They have their own Bakery and they make their own loaves of sliced bread fresh and always price them at a $1.99 which is really affordable. After two days, they reduce the price to a dollar and the bread is still fresh and lasts a couple weeks. They make their own delicious muffins, which are really high in calories but well priced. The double merchandise coupons for under a dollar patents allow you to buy them with in-store coupons. You also earn $0.10 a gallon for every $100 spent, unless there's a promotion in which you earn more and it adds up; most months I spent around two or three hundred dollars in our lives they get $0.40 off a gallon, this month I even got $0.70 off a gallon. I absolutely recommend this store, it's clean and has a bathroom open to the public with a water fountain. Unlike Walmart which requires ID for returns without a receipt, they don't require ID and don't require a receipt for new returns less than $20. They always give the customer the benefit of the doubt and have always returned stuff that opened or eaten if there's a problem or complaint with the product being returned. They have an awesome and fast self scan and their employees are great with customers. Love this store!!!

The review is specifically for Gezelle who brought my grocery order out to my car today. Today is the first time I tried the Stop & Shop grocery pick up and honestly it went pretty well and I would do it again. I have been having some mental health issues and she just had really positive energy and it honestly made my day a lot better. Thank you.

Always a pretty good selection and decent prices. Staff seemed to be uncharacteristically helpful this morning. Today, the two items on my list I couldn't get (or couldn't find) were oyster mushrooms and sweetened, vanilla flavored coconut milk (in a paper-carton that doesn't have the aluminum lining and therefore can't be recycled).

the store isn't as big as its other counterparts in other much nicer neighborhoods and the over all feel of this particular store will leave you wanting to head to one in a better area so be aware of panhandling outside the store almost everyday!

Stop and shop always had the best products in New Haven

A Stop & Shop in a great location that's easy to get to, has a gas station, decent product availability, clean layout, respectful and helpful staff! It's not a fancy Stop & Shop, but it does the basics well and has reasonable prices!

Store location is always clean, always fully stocked. Prices change up a bit week to week or bi-weekly, but should be expected with monthly sales and specials. Store associates are mostly genuinely friendly and helpful. I always enjoy my shopping experience here.

Stop & shop is cool! I found a devastating deal on my sparkling water! First of all it was over 50% off and I got to the self-checkout and there was a coupon laying there for $2 off! What an amazing experience!

It's clean, well stocked, & organized. The staff are very helpful & friendly. It was 10:00 am on a Monday; l was in and out in under 15 minutes.

Always a pleasure at the florist department with Heddie. She is always so wonderful and professional. Very helpful with anything I need and takes the time to explain all to me. She is truly an amazing employee that Stop and shop should be very proud of!

The store was clean and staff were friendly. The shelves were well stocked with sale merchandise. Overall a good experience. The two New Haven police officers stationed at the front of the store made me feel very safe.

This is a very decent place to shoo in New Haven for your groceries and Life style products. The place is clean and cozy. It can easily be noticed from a car in normal traffic. The workers are very smart and courteous. There’s also a wheelchair accessible parking and entrance for the differently abled.

Every time I go to Stop & Shop, I always get treated with the up most respect, also, felt greeted, my first time there. Me not being from CT, but coming from MN. Anyway long story short shut out to Kemarr, forgive me top-notch customer service; working almost 3 years in customer service help me understand retail, and how hard it is. It was a nice experience.
