Noah Webster Library

Go to place to bring my toddler. Compared to other libraries nearby, the children’s section of this library is awesome with different stations for playing, pretend play kitchen, computers for pbs kids games, monthly scavenger hunts, and more. My kid loved the fun classes/activities offered, just need to plan ahead of time by signing up on library website beforehand. Another plus is there’s free garage parking by entering the license plate on the tablet, that’s a big plus!

Beautiful library 📚 there are 2 or 3 floors, the first one is the are of the kids. Pretty amazing with too many toys and activities to do, there are computers for kids and almost all the furniture are small size for them.
The second floor is for adults and is nice too, big and good service.

Fantastic library and well kept. We have a chamber of commerce meeting twice a month and the room is always nice and bright. Great upgrades to the audio visual systems. Appreciate the facility and staff. Well kept. Great audio visual upgrades.

Wonderful library with the nicest staff! I recently moved to the area and the librarian was so kind and helped me get my library card. She welcomed me to the area and went out of her way to have a nice conversation with me. She informed me about the free one hour parking and all of the great things the library has. They have a wide selection of books, large print books, and a great kid section. Highly recommend!

Really liked this library. We were in the area and needed to kill some time with my 20 month old. They have amazing children section with tons of fun stuff for the kiddos to enjoy. They have computers for different age ranges, toys, reading area, train sets and more.

We went in with a local to see if they had passes to a local museum. Staff was super friendly, helpful & knowledgeable! We stayed a bit longer than planned just looking around. Has a small but well stocked local history section

My husband and I went to the library for the first time this weekend and we had a great experience! We were looking to find out more about the history of our house, and Brett was a HUGE help. We will definitely be back!

Friendly, helpful staff always have a smile for my children. Collections are fresh, attractive, timely. We love the guest exhibits of local children’s collections. The location, amenities and guidelines associated with this library make it so easy to bring the whole family.

Been coming here since we moved to West Hartford in 1987 and our kids were 5 and 4. We would sit on the floor in the children's section, wiling away a Saturday afternoon reading book after book. That experience certainly led to their curiosity about the world and their future success. And my granddaughters are having the same experiences. Great family time in a nourishing atmosphere. I still visit to pick up a book, browse the stacks, or sit and read. Magical place.

I've been going to the Noah Webster libarary since I was kid; it truly is an amzing place for researching, loaning out a good book or two and taking or taking your kid to their friendly children's department. If you're a WeHa resident and still don't have a WHPL library card, you're really missing out.

Only bad experience was with the librarians, but aren't librarians scary and intimidating anywhere? Also, I shouldn't have talked back to one of them. Actually it was kinda my fault.

Nevermind. Just go visit the library.

Both ladies at the reference desk and computer lab were very helpful. Would recommend making a visit!
