Ordered 2 bottles of Skinos Mastiha (from Greece) that is very difficult to find in the US. Ready for pickup in just two days. Very fair price and pickup was a breeze. This low alcohol spirit is served after meals in Greece, especially in Athens. We will order from Toast again!

Was in the area searching for a gift for a close family friend. My parents were in town visiting me from California. Exceptional customer service. The woman who served my parents and I definitely knows her wines. Also, the store has a great selection of wines. It’s heaven for every person who loves all kinds of wines from all over the world. So, I was cooking an Italian dinner for friends a few weekends ago, since I just got back from school and hadn't seen them in ages (Caprese Salad, Pasta, homemade Pomodoro sauce, the works) and looking for a wine to serve with the food. Usually, I just get a simple Chianti for this sort of thing \. I went in the store and, with no trouble, found a $15 one.

I started talking to their employees, however, (super friendly) and got to talking about which wines go well with which foods and stuff! They suggested I try a 2010 Heitz Cellar Grignolino to go with the pasta. I'd never heard of that variety before, but, since this was a special occasion, I put the Chianti back and gave it a shot.

When I popped the cork that evening, I was blown away. The wine had some incredible fruit and acidity that was super zesty, and went perfectly with the tomato sauce I was making (even added a bit of wine to the sauce)! My friends ended up really liking it too! So happy I didn't go with the Chianti, haha. I haven't found this wine anywhere else, and there are plenty of others that Toast has that I haven't found at other stores.

Anyway, since that first time, I've been hooked at Toast! I rarely go anywhere else to get my wine. The people there are super friendly, and they have a great selection of wines that can match anyone's budget, and if I have any wine questions, they're really helpful. They also do free tastings on Saturdays which are really fun and informative (I usually come away from those with a bottle or two, haha).

Great selection

I love their wine selection, from recognizable labels to off-the-beaten path varietals, and I even like that it's not perfectly organized...it's a small enough shop that it won't overwhelm. The prices are comparable to other small shops. The staff is mostly friendly and helpful. On one occasion I went in and the clerk seemed more interested by his phone than in the customers.

Ordered a case (12) of wine my friends and I were looking for off Toast’s web site. Was charged immediately. When the wine arrived, we counted 11 bottles, not 12 as ordered. No mention of a back order or stock shortage, but still charged for 12 nonetheless. Customer service was non-responsive. They may have a good selection of wine, but their business ethics are horrible. If you order on line with Toast, you’re taking a risk!

Prices are very good, but unfortunately they raised the prices of my order after I had ordered it. I think it's very unprofessional to retroactively apply a price. Even if a mistake was made Toast should honor the advertised price.

On line order processing inappropriate. Apparently, credit/debit cards are processed upon order receipt, irrespective of inventory status. Immediate out of stock notice received, but funds still on hold four days later. Seems a sketchy practice to hold a customer's funds prior to performance without immediate release upon determination of inability to deliver.
