Awesome place. Service was amazing they made sure we were well taken care of and hospitable. Steak is the best I've had in a long time around the area. Price was fair and well worth it for a well cooked steak. No wait no reservations simply put worth the visit. Saturday night special is 16 ounce steak.

This is the only place I go to when in town for work. Diamond billiard table - best in town. Good drinks, and the staff here is wonderful!
Always a great time. I will have to try the food here next time, but the menu looks pretty good. There are slot machines, video games, and a great jukebox as well.

While traveling stopped in Vandalia for the night. Chose The Hawg since it was close to our motel. I highly recommend you stop by this place. The food was fantastic and their prices were amazingly reasonable. Great find after a day of travel.

Daily specials, good food, great service! I had a sloppy Joe...and it was great. Too much for the bun to hold and so sloppy a fork was required. That's a true sloppy Joe. This was a weekday lunch trip, but will become a pit stop on weekend bike or jeep rides.

Food was delicious. Large portions, Reasonable prices. The Band was amazing. We loved them. They played a little bit of everything. We even confronted the Band about playing at our Campground, Okaw Valley Kampground(the old KOA) in Brownstown. Waitresses were very friendly and helpful. Restaurant and bathrooms were very clean.

Got to hear one of my favorite bands this last Saturday night, 1st of August. Van Waylon Band. They were awesome! The place was small but comfortable, none the less. The drinks were good but I didn't have anything to eat, maybe next time. The place is nice and cozy and the staff were great too. Got to see some familiar faces too which was a plus.

Mo Pleasure was the band and they were fantastic can't wait hear them again. The food was awesome and waitresses were great. I will be back.

They have a good menu with several choices for meat, fish, chicken, etc.
Alcoholic beverages are available as well as gaming, TVs, etc.
Has a good atmosphere, clean and very good service.
I'll go back!

It was nice. The food came out nice and hot. Had great flavor. They have gaming and pool table. Plenty of seating.

Stopped off here....very nice setup. Clean, professional, and unique to say the least. My only resistance to returning here often would be the overwhelming temperature inside. Open the windows and i'll be back. 😏

Good steak and live band tonight. Waitress went out of her way to take care of us. Nice addition to the Vandalia community.
