After 16 years my furnace went out. Went through getting proposals with four companies. There was a wide range of prices to chose from.

I went with Climate Control Services due to the equipment (American Standard) they work with and recommend.

Their team of Chris & Reagan came out to make the transfer on my furnace & Air conditioner. In one day they were able to accomplish this with leaving my home spotless. All work was completed and clean up was performed as well to include removal of old equipment.

Ryan join them to help finish the project and later went over all that was needed explaining and answering any and all questions I had.

What a team, they worked quickly and efficiently given the temperatures the had to deal with (in the 20's / 30's).
Once they were finished they checked out both units for any leaks and tested all to include the thermostat.

Our hot water heater burst unexpectedly and Climate Control Services was quick to help with a reasonable quote and fast turn-around for replacing our heater. Reagan and his team that came out were knowledgeable, efficient, friendly and professional. They were careful and took precautions for our flooring and furnishings. You wouldn't even have known they were here! We are grateful for Climate Control that they were able to help us and we would recommend them to anyone.

Great customer service. They came out right away when it was below zero and got us up and going. We knew our furnaces/AC units were 25 and 30 years old and we’re planning on upgrading this summer.

They were able to come out in a couple days and replace both furnaces. They came back today and replaced the AC units.

All of the technicians have been polite and respectful. They put out drop cloths everywhere they were working and walking. They left everything nice and clean when they were done.

Would definitely use their services again.

We had three technicians on site, Chris, Danny, and Ryan. They went right to work examining our old system, properly shutting the equipment down so they would be able to safely remove our old HVAC system. Once removed they cleaned up the area to install the new system. They were at our home for nine hours to make certain the new system was fully operational. They were able to answer all my questions about the operating of our new system. There have been a-lot of changes, in HVAC systems from our older system.
They did a great job, very thorough, and left the area clean.

We were very pleased with the professionalism with Climate Control. We didn’t realize what was going on with our furnace. We made a call they came to our house within the hour. We were without heat for 24hrs and we were facing the oldest days ahead yet to come the next few days. They came back the next morning to replace a part but after explaining their concerns to us and our options we decided to replace the furnace and the ac in the long run this was the better option. Tom made immediate changes to have our furnace replaced that day he was so kind and concerned that we were so grateful for. We couldn’t have been any happier and felt well cared for by Climate Control.
Everyone within this company truly cares they are polite, kind and very tidy.

These guys are great. Our AC went out and looking for a new AC company who carries American Standard. I would them on the internet and talked with Tom who was able to have the right setup for my home. The group that came up to our house was very professional and actually did a wonderful job!!!!!

I had a tough time finding a contractor willing to do my installation. It's a very tight fit. One contractor wanted me to relocate the water heater. Tom from Climate Control Services came out and said no problem, I can make it work. I had a detailed quote in hand within two hours with several options to choose from. Scheduled the install for the following week. The techs were on time, knowledgeable and did a great job including cleaning up after themselves. They also gave me a quick walk through of the new system before leaving. Thanks Tom and the folks and Climate Controls Systems for the great work!

Tom was great and did everything he could to make sure our heating system was working. He did not stop sending out his technicians and problem solving until we found the issue and got it fixed. We have a very odd, all electric, heat pump and space pac system that had more issues that we realized when beginning the work and Tom was very helpful in making sure it all got fixed. The techs at Climate Control are also extremely nice and helpful. They helped us through a frustrating experience with our house and we’re very thankful! Will definitely keep using Climate Control for maintenance and upkeep.

My furnace went down with a cold snap on the horizon. Looking at a part that was 1/5th of a new furnace, we opted for a replacement.

Climate Control was able to get to us same day during a blizzard and replace our 15 year old unit so we could have peace of mind and a warm house.

After interviewing multiple firms and, based on a referral, I contracted Climate Control Services to replace my complete HVAC system. From first contact to completed job, Tom, Morgan & full installation crew were prompt, thorough, & totally professional, right down to final clean up & a tutorial on all equipment We're thrilled with our new furnace & A/C. Can’t say enough good things! First off Climate Control switched around their schedule to accommodate us because we were without heat. Chris and Reagan showed up right on time and did a professional install. They filled out the registration for the warranty for us as well. To top it off Climate Control Services saved us almost $1000 off area competitors quotes. Job well done!!

They provided excellent service for the plumbing repair. The techs were all professional. The repair was completed in one day.

Danny my tech, was knowledgeable and made certain everything was in working order when was finished. Explained everything he did in my terms. Very pleased with his work. When I am ready to replace my equipment, they will be the company I call. So nice to have this level of service locally.

Excellent service all around! Our 15+ year old boiler had stopped working and the night got below freezing, bursting one radiator. Tom Wyse stopped by and inspected everything thoroughly, answered all our questions and gave us an estimate via email the same day for a new boiler and new radiator (~$8k) as well as a link for financing. The crew came out a few days later and worked from 8am til 4pm-ish (apologies for the narrowness of the back stairs and doorway! 😅). The boiler made an odd howling sound that night so we called and a different crew came back the next day and changed up a few pipe placements and bled all the radiators again at no extra charge. Now they work like a charm, sooo wonderful to have a toasty house again! Thank you all!

I called because my water heater had broken over the weekend. I have been without hot water for a couple days. I called Monday morning and they came out right away to replace it!! Price was great and the Chris and Reagan were fantastic! They were on time, explained everything and cleaned up beautifully! My definite go to guys!! Very dependable and cost competitive company!!

We had an issue with our furnace and Climate Control was able to come out the same day. Chris the tech was very professional and explained everything that was going on in a manner I understood. Definitely very high on my list of Service providers to call.

After discovering that we had cracks in the heat exchanger of our 21 year-old furnace, we began the process of securing bids for replacement of the furnace and the a/c unit, given that both were 20+ years-old. I used Angie's List to look for HVAC contractors that specialized in high efficiency, American Standard units, as that brand (affiliated w/ Trane), received the highest marks in Consumer Reports in '18. All 3 contractors who provided bids were well rated on Angie's List, yet not all were equal when considering price, knowledge, professionalism, and their attention to detail.

In the end, I chose Climate Control Services, as their owner, Tom Wyse, was very thorough w/ his bid after evaluating our existing HVAC system, performing a load calculation to determine the proper size of both furnace & a/c units needed for our house, and presenting me w/ viable options based on my budget and long term needs. Not to mention they were able to get the job started less than a week after signing off on his bid!

His bid included a 2-stage furnace, 16 SEER a/c unit, & a chimney liner (which my chimney did not have and is required for venting the hot water heater, which was only 5 years old and I didn't see a need to replace). The bid also included a new humidifier, whole house air cleaner w/ filter, smart thermostat, new piping for venting the furnace, new piping for draining condensate from humidifier, creation of a new, short duct run for the basement, replacement of plumbing feeding the hot water heater, and replacement of heavily corroded duct work.

So although Tom's bid was not the cheapest (middle quote of the 3), there was additional work added that the others didn't indicate were necessary, even though it became clear all were needed after asking Tom many questions and listening to his direct, insightful answers. So in the end, given all work performed over the two day project, I believe the cost was in a reasonable range. Tom did offer financing, though we didn't take any of it, as we used funds from elsewhere to pay for the unexpected expense. Plus he applied all rebates available to bring the cost down.

Special kudos to his staff. Dan & Greg were the installers and they were great. Arrived on time both days, explained what they were doing, answered questions as I had them, cleaned up after themselves, and did a very professional, efficient job w/ both the removal of the existing systems and the install of the new. Their sheet metal work, which they did on site in their truck, was top notch, so I feel confident that the duct work will last for many years to come. One of their techs, Nate, was also great. He came to the site to assist at times and was the one who walked me through the operation of the smart thermostat and furnace.

Overall the experience was really great, as Tom's company really lived up to its exceptional ratings on Google and Angie's List. Tom was involved from day one, w/ the quote, follow-up questions answered, visiting on site both days to ensure the project went on w/out a hitch, and then walked me through the operation/maintenance of the system a second time, including the smart thermostat, which was very helpful. Without any hesitation, I would recommend using Climate Control Services to install your new HVAC system, as Tom really knows his stuff!

I am a perfectionist. Its rare to find a company that does the kind of work that you would do yourself. Climate Control Services is just that. I was blown away at the level of pride Tom’s crew took into installing our new Furnace and Air Conditioning equipment.
