CrossFit Red Star

I joined this great place in the beginning of 2017. About 2.5 month's now . I been a soccer player all my life, so it's been hard to learn the different exercises ,but Ivan,other members, and teachers have helped me trough the transition to this sport.
I have been feeling great ever since I joined. I have more energy, strength,and endurance.
Great place to work out in a friendly environment and with really cool people who motivated you to learn and do better.
I recommend to any one in the area.

I'm so glad to have joined CrossFit classes by Ivan. He is truly the nicest CrossFit trainer. He will push you to work harder each session and makes the workout sessions fun. I have met so many people here and everyone encourages each other to do better. Ivan is very detail oriented and makes sure that you're doing the exercise the proper way to avoid any injuries. I am very lucky to have found Ivan and to be a part of his CrossFit sessions. I highly recommend everyone to check it out even if you haven't worked out in over couple years!

I am so glad I tried the 6 week challenge - that I'm going to keep going!!! Ivan is a great motivator and the work outs are really challenging. I would never push my self as hard and everyone you work out with at Redstar is encouraging. Even though I am a beginner the trainers and other members really make you feel good and push yourself!

Love it. Ivan is great and the facility is big and clean. If you're looking to change your life and get back in shape, give him a try!

This place is my second home. I love the people and the workouts!

No me gusta es muy pequeño

I have been a fan of Crossfit for a few years and i was very nervous to finally try the sport myself. I called in and expressed interest in the intro class (aka Ramp class) and made it very clear this was truly my first time. Once I arrived for my set class time I was given a very quick description of what the class was going to entail with little to no guidance of what to do or where to go throughout the entire class. Ivan left the building and the owner sat on her phone in the corner while the 6 of us worked out. I felt very unsupported and silly trying to make my way through the workout and if it weren’t for another gym goer willing to stop her workout to help me I would have left much sooner. For something I was looking so forward to trying and loving-this particular gym did not live up to that.

I really liked this place even though the owners weren't the most...well, organized. The New You 6 Week challenge went great for me and a friend that signed up. However it was after those 6 weeks were over that I encountered multiple erroneous charges on my card that they refused to credit back in a timely manner because it's their 'policy'. The monthly policy that was never explained as soon as the 6 week challenge was over.

The gym is extremely dirty and not well maintained. They claim they have someone that comes to "deep clean" it every Sunday but the cob-webs and puffs of dust that come up from the floor suggest otherwise.

I'm really disappointed because I liked coming here despite the not-so-clean appearance. But after talking to several other members that have been going there for awhile they admit to attendance decreasing recently and I for one know I will never come back.
