Wauconda Bowl

I shouldve taken pictures but was in awe of the size and how vintage it was. If in the area, check out Wauconda bowl!!! Awesome staff, great lanes with above ground ball return!!! Smaller place but very modern!!!

Loved the atmosphere & the playlist was great as well. It turns I actually really like bowling! We were also pleasantly surprised to see the wonderful patio that served as a smoking lounge.

Love bowling in this nostalgic 8 lane house with fun decor! Lori & Danny do an amazing job running their annual Humdinger & keeping the lanes in great working order with no issues on any of the approaches as far as stickiness or slipping. Will join a league here someday & keep bowling the Humdinger at least twice a year!

This a wonderful bowling alley! We had a great private adult birthday party and the crew was so helpful. Highly recommend for your next event or just a fun time bowling with family and/or friends!

Now mind you this is not the biggest place, but it's very friendly . The atmosphere was fun to be in everybody was very helpful the cost wasn't that much. Pizza came out perfect and the bowling was fun and the people at the bar were very friendly. If you're looking for a small town atmosphere, and want to feel welcome to where you're at. This is the place to go, I definitely recommend it to any of my friends.

In response to the 1 star review from Meagan Chevrelette, I was there last night. I watched your children pushing each other around, being unruly and messing with the bowling equipment while you and your adult group was not paying attention. As a customer I was wondering who was going to intervene and correct them. I watched the owner calmy go over and speak to the children and fix the equipment. I would also like to note that the bowing lanes were occupied by 70% children. We specifically go to the bowl because it is both adult and child friendly. Hope you take your review down. That is a bad, inaccurate description of a family friendly place.

Great local bowling alley supporting the Naval Cadets! Still the same great ownership!

This is a great little local bowling ally! The lanes are in good shape and they recently updated there scoring machines. If you and your friends are looking for a small personable place to go bowling with the bar within steps of your lane look no further!

Wandered in on a Bears game day to have a drink, only to find a full table of food plus "Touchdown Shots" of apple pie-type yummyness (free every touchdown!!)!! The owners are Danny and Lori; SUCH NICE, KIND & COOL PEOPLE!!! They are friendly, kind, funny and just made an overall POSITIVE feeling for everyone present! We didn't bowl today, but totally will go back for that purpose next time--the lanes are super cool--only 8, very old-school but not OLD! And a wicked cool use of the retired bowling balls: they lined their flower beds out front with them!! LOVE THIS PLACE!!!😁👍👍🎳

Very family-friendly Place. Had a great time with the grandkids and Gina Gonzalez is playing at 3 pm. Pierogi and taco food trucks there is well.

Best local bar and bowling in the area. Family friendly and respectful to the youngins bowling. Would not go anywhere else.

Wauconda Bowl is probably my favorite bowling alley ever! Best mix of everything retro cool and modern technology at the same time.

The way it used to be, back in the day. Good prices, good owners, watch or play some bowling. What more can you ask for?
