Ace Hardware Wauconda

Nice large Ace store with good customer attention and excellent selection. Extremely responsive to problem solving. I had an issue with an exchange and the owner personally reached out to me to correct my issue. You wouldn't find that type of attention at a big box store.

Clean store, great selection of items I need in the middle of a project and need to make a quick trip to the store.

This is a great hardware store! The staff is consistently so helpful. I typically walk in and am greeted by someone. I then often ask that person for help in finding what I am looking for, and I appreciate how eager to assist the workers are. We will continue to shop here regularly.

It's just like every other local Ace hardware store. Friendly staff but obviously doesn't have as many things as a home Depot would but certain specialty items that home Depot wouldn't so call ahead and ask:)

If you can't get it at homedepot or menards chances are you will find it here. Ace has all the one off items you need. Every location I visit their staff has a clue where homedepot/menards needs to break out personal cell phone. Kinda sad these giants take advantage of employees. I'd shop more at ace if it was closet. If you hadn'tbeen to a Ace I suggest you browse prises are slightly higher but customer satisfaction is 10 fold . They know what there talking about, they know the products there selling. Best of all unlike menards they value vets. So before you save 3$ consider Ace who help the people keep this country free to make choices.

This is my local Ace Hardware and I love it. It’s a quick trip with easy parking close to the door. They have friendly staff who will come to recognize you, if not know your name, and most of whom are at least as knowledgeable as your average big-box employee. Buy your bulk items or remodeling appliances and fixtures and such elsewhere, but for the everyday repair and typical homeowner project, I’ll always pick Ace.

Very friendly and helpful employees. They are no longer stocking craftsman and getting replacements during that time wasn't exactly easy. The plumbing old guy is a crack up, you don't get to see many like him anymore given the mom and pop stores are going away. They have most of what you need fitting wise but you pay a bit more for the convenience of being close.

Always a pleasure to visit this place. Very helpful staff, and surprisingly, I've never tripped them up on stocked supplies. Always find whatever I've needed!

They had the chrome bolts I needed

The staff here is great! We have been in for random things, and specific things, and each time they have it! Even had a broken window ( you guessed it, baseball to glass, they had fun with the kid when he brought it in too) and damaged screen repaired. Service was fast, friendly and convenient.
