Thee nicest spot I’ve been to in a very long time! Brings back what it means to have authentic, homemade cuisine with excellent service with gorgeous ambiance. The chain restaurant can’t light a candle to this place!!!! Worth every penny!! You’ll leave full & planning for your next visit! Here are some of the entree’s & deserts we ordered. Exquisite! The hand crafted drinks were absolutely delish & they also have a wonderful selection of wines both by the glass or bottle.

This charming family owned restaurant, offers a cozy, setting and true Italian hospitality. The family comes from Sicily and have brought with them many of the recipes and their love for hospitality and food. The restaurant also has two party rooms available for larger events. Today I celebrated my 25th wedding anniversary with my family. Could not have picked a better place for atmosphere food and service.

Outstanding! I don't give 5 stars very often, but this place deserves the rank. Let me start with the antepasto della casa appetizer, a beautiful plate of assorted salami's, cheeses and olives! Perfect beginnings! The hot homemade bread was outstanding! They have an extensive wine list plus a full bar. They offer both inside and outside seating, a wonderful area to sit back, relax and enjoy the weather! I love Italian food and eat lasagna at each place. I have to say, this was probably the best lasagna I've ever had! The pasta was cooked to perfection. The sauce was fabulous! The perfect combination of tomato, garlic, salt, and basil. The sauce was meat based with the perfect amount of ricotta and cheese. The portion was large and the prices were reasonable! I will add this to my list of best places to eat!

I ate lunch here while celebrating a baby shower. The food was delicious! The service even better. They discovered I was gluten free and went out of their way to make me food that I could eat. I was impressed and thankful!

Great place for a nice family dinner. The Mrs like to go on her birthday.

The food was by far better than any of the other Italian restaurants we have been to lately. Greeted when you walked in, ordered and took it to go this time.
The food was very good linguine and clams and cheese ravioli.
Everything was delicious!
We will be back.

Fantastic Food. Wide variety of apps, salads and main dishes (easy to go as well). We were a group of 12 and all 12 was really happy. Service was great Josephine was awesome and all the waiters and busers helped out. It feels like a classy Italian restaurant. Strongly recommend

One of the best Italian restaurants in the Chicago suburbs. Very authentic and family friendly. Our kids have been raised on their thin crust pizza and it's consistanly tasty. I also recommend the Vito's Special pizza for anyone wanting to try something different. Ordering in the App works very well.

Wonderful family restaurant. The food is fantastic and the staff is super friendly. The menu features so many options that you can eat her forever with all the delicious entrees. I highly recommend dining at this amazing family friendly restaurant.

It was a really nice place to have lunch with old friends and family. The fried calamari is the best I've had in a long time. I am pretty sure everything on the menu is great! We had pizza, veal parmesan, and chicken scallopini.

My first time here and it was a great experience! Patricia our waitress was wonderful and she recommended some amazing dishes. I ordered the Rotolo Alla Rossini with the grilled chicken and it was delicious. Everything from the food to the service to the vibe was great. I will definitely come back here.

Their Pizza has CHANGED MY LIFE! Wow! I ordered the deep dish meat lovers pizza with bacon, sausage, pepperoni, Italian sausage & mushrooms. I will be coming back to this place whenever I’m on business in Chicagoland. Great service & great food. Go get you some Roberto’s!

I work in the area and I recommend ALL my family, friends, and my patients about Roberto’s. My husband and his family grew up ordering Roberto’s on a weekly basis with pizza night and continue to order even throughout the Covid era. Roberto’s is known as the family birthday dinners and special occasions restaurant. My husband and I went here after our lunch wedding reception for dinner on 12/22/23. We had such a wonderful time! The host wanted to sit us outside but I told her we just got married earlier that day. She moved us to a cozy corner. I’m currently pregnant and our server was sweet and attentive. My favorite dish on their menu is the Abruzzese. I swap out the red sauce for their pink vodka sauce and I add grilled chicken. The servers almost always ask the kitchen if they can do that and I reassure them every time. It’s my favorite dish I get and it never disappoints. If you ever get Dario as your server I guarantee he will take care of you. He’s a fan favorite in our family. We love coming here and will continue to support this restaurant.

This place is all about the details. I have heard about this amazing Italian restaurant from four different people from different areas. I had high expectations and it exceeded them. As was recommended by someone I trust, the linguini with white clam sauce was cooked perfect al dente and to die for. The bruschetta was crispy and flavorful. The daughter’s lasagna was the best she had ever had, yet still had room for a slice of cheesecake for dessert (lunch dessert I might add). The waiter was true Italian and barely spoke English. The bar and setting were fantastic. There is not a thing bad I could come up with. Even the details on napkins in the men’s room did not escape me. This was one of the best Italian meals I have ever had. My 4th generation Chicago Italian wife agrees.

Roberto's presents Italian food at it's finest. This is no ordinary suburban restaurant. Hands made pasta, seafood and twenty-one day dry aged steaks. Calamari, grilled and fried are to die for. Seafood pasta, Lobster ravioli and Halibut were so fresh and seasoned well. Service and timing was impeccable. Our family was so impressed with the delectable Happy Birthday surprise Tiramisu that we stayed for sorbet and coffee. Roberto's Ristorante & Pizzeria should be on the list of go to Italian restaurants when in Elmhurst.

This is a very popular place! Make sure you make reservations! Started out with bruschetta with fresh mozzarella. So delicious! I had chicken marsala, my husband pizza, and another had chicken piccatta. They serve 2 nice pieces of chicken breast with mini potatoes. The mushroom sauce had a very good flavor. I ordered a side of grilled vegetables-zuccini, squash, red and yellow peppers. I really liked that! I tried the piccatta and also delicious! My husband rated the pizza very high. He likes it crispy, and the ingredients were fresh. This is quality food and a high-end restaurant. The only thing I didn't like was the chaotic atmosphere. I didn't feel relaxed. Between every table being taken, a baby screaming, it was tough to relax. It's a tight fit in there. Parking in the rear, be ready to walk around the whole building, or walk through a grassy hilly area. Parking in front, on the street, or a parking lot across the street may be a better option. Would be nice to enter from the back, but they don't have that setup. Solid food and an overall nice place.

In town visiting friends and they suggested this place. The food was awesome and the service was outstanding too.

I am getting older and maybe a little less tolerant of noisy restaurants with children flying about. The bar at Roberto's is one of my favorite places for a quiet conversation. Hana is a superb bartender and very cordial. The food is fresh and well prepared. For occasions that require a table, the wait staff is personable. Takeout is good too, so Roberto's has all the bases covered.

I visit the Chicago area about twice a year from South Dakota with my 3yo, as he's a patient of Shriners Children's hospital. We try to make the most of the trip while we're here, and that always includes sampling the local fare. I find good Italian food to be the hardest cuisine for restaurants to get right, and Robertos nailed it on every front. Food was incredible. Service was prompt and friendly without being too much. We were probably underdressed for the atmosphere, but despite that, and despite being in a nice restaurant with a toddler, I was never made to feel out of place. I will make it a point to return the next time we make it out this way, and would be a true regular if I were a local. Also, try the Pyramid dessert. It was perfect and light, and if you love praline, it'll blow your mind.
