This cafe has a very pleasant atmosphere with friendly, uplifting staff. The coffee and specialty choices are on par with the franchise cafés. However, I believe that the brew and the specialty flavors are better and have a unique taste. I typically regularly get the amaretto or Irish cream flavoring. I have found that the mocha I get on occasion has a more pleasant flavor than those offered by Panera, SB, or DD.
They have a regular crowd and customer base whom I've found pleasurable to interact with when stopping in, though I am not a daily regular. They take time to eventually learn your name when seeing you a few times. It's always inviting at Honey Hill.

The woman working upfront has one of the biggest passions I’ve seen for a job. It’s great to see someone who is smiling and enjoying what they do, while passing that on to their customers.

Best scone I have ever had, period. Iced coffee was excellent as well. A good spot to hang on a rainy day.

Only complaint I have is if you’re trying to have a meeting here, find some place else because the back room gets VERY loud and you’ll be yelling at each other to speak to whoever you’re there with. However, that’s a personal preference thing so still 5 stars because the vibes are happy and the coffee and food is quaint for a small coffee shop in downtown Wauconda area.

One of my favorite local coffee shops. I love their banana nut latte, but today I learned they have a maple spiced latte. It’s probably THE BEST latte I’ve had anywhere. I HIGHLY recommend this place!

The scones at Honey Hill are some of the best I've had. They are a combination of dense yet flakey, with a crusty exterior. Their signature scone is the chocolate chip, and it is yummy. I am not a coffee guy, but my wife had the White Chocolate Cinnamon Mocha which she reported as "delicious." Located in quaint downtown Wauconda, it makes for a fun morning stop.

I am coffee lover. I like to try coffee in small local shops and I am always surprise by good atmosphere and good service. Thank you for the coffee and muffins, it was fantastic.

Love this local coffee shop! I come here to study for hours at a time. Staff is always welcoming and friendly, and the coffee is wonderful. Be sure to snag a fresh-baked chocolate chip scone, made at their shop! They’re to die for.

Great local coffee shop! The barista was so nice and gave me a great recommendation on what drink I should get. She also recommended a scone as well and that was amazing. If you are in the area this coffee shop is a must try!

Love this place to sit and relax with a great cup of coffee. The scones are super delicious, and I make my own scones, but these are way better!! Also, not a lot of places offer coconut flavoring, and I will drive the 10 miles to get that in my coffee. Plus, everyone that works there is so nice! I feel very welcomed here.

Cute cafe in main street Wauconda. They have indoor and outdoor seating (for the warmer months) and plenty of good and drink. I'd recommend getting the scones. They were super fluffy and soft (more like a cookie than a scone) and super tasty.

Don't get food there mainly coffee or other drinks. Excellent service, friendly and relaxed atmosphere. They make great drinks.

Quite a bohemian, eclectic place, in Wauconda, Illinois. Staff are friendly & up. Wanted a spot to have a mini business meeting, do recommend this spot. Ordered a Savory Scone, never had one like this, split it & shared. They offer many, when I say many, I'm not kidding regarding Coffee. Just had a traditional Small Black Joe. Will try the flavored ones another time. Was satisfying. Looking forward to returning soon! Cheers & Mangia!

One of the best local coffee shops! Fantastic coffee, good selection of teas, wonderful baked goods. Their scones are amazing. And very friendly staff! Tables and chairs in back to sit with a friend and enjoy your drinks and food.

Moved to Wauconda almost a year ago and decided to finally try this place out. A friend and I were greeted by a wonderful staff member and were given great options to chose from and the coffee was delish! Great atmosphere and definitely plan to come back.
