Michael's Restaurant

This is the most elegant dining experience I have had in years. Food was delicious, service was great.

If you're looking for a home away from home meal, then look no further. This place has something for the whole family. Pasta dishes, burgers, seafood, wraps, sandwiches, steaks, you name it! The appetizers are amazing too! The Southwestern Egg Rolls are incredible, and the Spinach and Artichoke Dip is a cannot miss! The service here is great. The staff really cares about getting your order right and providing the best experience they possibly can. Michael's is a must try!

Let start by saying some of the other reviews I have read about this restaurantwas obnoxiously wrong! Also u can not speak up on service to the tee when servers very and it's a tough job so give them credit. Stop being so self absorbed! Me personally I was greeted at the door immediately.I was seated and asked if I wanted anything to drink to start off. The atmosphere was calming and relaxing. My appatiser came to the table with in a few moments.Heated warm break with side garlic was very tasty. The main coarse was a pasta with red sousce with a hint of garlic topped with thin slices cooked chicken and parmesan cheese was on the table to compliment the dish. So,yes over all I had a delightful vist at Michaels restrarant! I would recommend this place to anyone. I have had other dishes too and they were great! The cook does a really good job and the owner knows what he is doing. So please go try before I judge and dont judge off a bad day. Sincerely, Jeremy S. MONTGOMERY.

Absolutely the best food ever....I eat here at least once a week. I've tried almost everything on the menu!! Plus, the staff is always amazing!! When at work it's so easy to order they deliver too which is so convenient since I work a lot and I can offer my customers their food as well. I strongly recommend Michaels their food and staff is what keeps me coming back. Thank you!!

Food was excellent and service was friendly and professional. We went during an off-peak time, but no one caught an attitude and the food was done quickly and well! Also of note, their gf option for chicken tetrazzini was also low carb and delicious! I will definitely be back! I hear they have a great brunch! ❤

This place is a gem. When I went there it was totally dead, but it was admittedly between lunch and dinner. Service was a little light as there was only one person there the majority of the time. Atmosphere is beautiful, food terrific, price was in the appropriate range, not super cheap, but a good value. Can't wait to go back for Sunday brunch!!

What can I say. Five stars all around from atmosphere, service, value, food presentation and flavor. I wish Michael's was closer to our home (we're from out of state). I highly recommend eating here.

BRUNCH WAS GREAT!! Service spot on, $14 per person, buffet with made to order eggs, waffle, and prime rib, 10 pies, salad bar, and gourmet breakfast/lunch premade deliciousness. GREAT stop for a Sunday brunch!

This is a great laid back dim lit environment. I have been going her for 8yrs. I don't care how long it takes for my order, but I know the quality is the same every time. And that is what keeps me going back for more.

Have always had excellent meals & service and been coming here for 5 years. We also host our Annual Meeting here every year and our Monthly Board Meetings. They have a great private meeting room !

We are SO hooked on Michael's Fettucine Alfredo that we rarely order anything else, and the salads are crisp, fresh, and delicious. We find the character and atmosphere is conducive to a comfortable dining experience.....the music is neither too loud nor too low, making conversation easy and relaxing. The staff is friendly and accommodating and an interesting photo history of the Livingston Department Store (now Michael's Restaurant) and other downtown Bloomington events and buildings are displayed on the walls. Add to all of this that we can avail ourselves of Michael's coupons for $ off on the Internet and in the Pantagraph regularly! The convenient street parking in front of Michael's and all around within a half block requires a walk from car to building no farther than crossing a large parking lot, so my husband Earl and I LOVE Michael's Restaurant!

I love coming in the staff is great. The food is amazing. I love in the atmosphere in the Sunday brunch is amazing. I'm never disappointed any time that I come in.

First time here. Loved the atmosphere and hospitality. Amazing menu selection and delicious food. Liam was very friendly and attentive. Definitely coming back!

A great salad bar and buffet for less than most of the entrees. The wait staff are always patient with kids, even when they're were three kids under five at one table like today.

They have amazing food you get your moneys worth i always leave with leftovers pizza is amazing the steak dinner is alot of food the steak is huge for a good price !!!!!!! Homemade cheesecake is awesome

Best restaurant I have ever been to service is good and food is amazing if there were a competition for best restaurants in Bloomington michaels would be up there with Olive Garden best restaurant definitely recommended
