JT's Porch Saloon & Eatery

On a rare trip to Chicago for a work trip, I asked my brother, who is a local, where he'd love to go to dinner together and he said that hands down JT's has the best wings. And I couldn't agree more!
After our 45 minute commute from Oak park, we arrive in the parking lot to a very eclectic setting of The the restaurant building, and going inside definitely gave a Tavern and saloon feel. Our waitress Suzy M was fantastic: attentive, friendly, and super helpful will we needed to make any changes to our order, refills, etc.
I started off with a beer and put in order of the 10 piece Buffalo wings, and we got a 20 piece boneless wings with a multitude of sauces: Teriyaki, spicy garlic, Bourbon chili, and Thai chili. Their wings were absolutely massive, and the buffalo sauce was the most unique that I'd ever tasted colon some combination of Buffalo and tomato base on top of a very crispy fried wing. Absolutely amazing! 🔥
For our meal, I got the Southern Burger with pepper jack cheese, French fries, and a side of hush puppies, and my brother got another order of the buffalo wings 😆
For the three orders of wings we're looking at about $55, the burger and beers Hush Puppies we're probably another $35. It was a little on the pricey side for the wings but for their size and the quality definitely would come back

My friends and I come here all the time, we visited Saturday night during St Patty’s Day weekend and the place was crazy packed. Our bartender, a blonde woman whose name we didn’t catch, did absolutely amazing for being on her own. She stayed on top of making drinks and taking care of all us customers at the bar. It was also great to see the manager jumping in and helping out his staff to get through the busy night. Would definitely recommend visiting.

Stopped here after kids sports nearby for lunch. Food was excellent, staff was attentive and friendly, and lots of TVs for all the football games. Will visit again when in the area.

I highly recommend it for a quick bite. Handmade tortilla chips and salsa or fried cheese curds are great starters before an awesome burger

Cozy & homie spot. Service is always great or ok depending on the server but wings will forever be 10/10. Good hang out spot or undercover place to kickback as always. Hard to beat JTP's experience overall

Im disabled so my uncle Chuck picks up lunch from here to-go once in awhile for me and everything is always fresh/hot and tasty , especially the philly cheese steaks and even the side salads are great !!

Never been here before, it was a great place. The food was amazing! How the outside of the restaurant looks doesn't really catch one's eye, explains why I've never seen nor noticed it before. The inside was beautiful though, I would say a little more lighting would be nice. The waitress we got was very nice too and food didn't take too long to come out 😁

The tendies. Enough said. This place is amazing! Great place to catch a beer or drink with friends. I can’t ever go here without eating the tenders or wings because they are straight fire! The homemade buffalo sauce is the best in the area. Do not sleep on JTs, you will regret it. We eat here weekly.

I love this place!! Amazing food. The absolute BEST chicken by the pound tenders 😋 I have EVER tasted 😋

Solid hometown bar vibes. Service was really fantastic. Especially considering the gang I was with was super obnoxious (work colleagues). Definitely going back when I'm in the area.

Great food! Will definitely be back. The owner was coming around giving out raffle tickets for a 60 inch TV. For free. Doing it Ll December to back to his customers! Does this on Sunday

We caught a late lunch at JT's Porch and were immediately greeted and seated. The service was excellent. We received our orders quickly and they were deliciously wonderful. Thank you, JTP!

Best wings around, good food, fairly priced and great local bar atmosphere!

We stop by here most days while our daughter has soccer practice for an app and a drink or two. The food is good and the bartenders are friendly.

Stopped in for lunch on a Saturday. We had cocktails, Cod fish sandwich, big blue burger and fries. Everything was delicious, service great, fair pricing. Will return, thanks!

We ordered the Southwestern Chicken sandwich, which had cheddar cheese, bacon, and BBQ sauce, and we chose tater tots for our side. The chicken breast was grilled to perfection, and the tater tots were nice and crunchy, my compliments to the chef. We also ordered a side salad with thousand island dressing, and this was a nice dinner for the two of us to split. Just enough to not feel overstuffed after eating.

This place is a staple since i found it. I take most of my colleagues here for lunch, and then if we have a happy hour were right back here. For games and weekends the spot is full of life and you get great service. All the staff is amazing and the owner actually works out on the floor and checks on his guests. Also likely the cheapest place in the entire area with the best quality food. Nothing you order here will be bad, and you will always leave pleased and wanting to come back.

Food was pretty good! had the California burger. Our server Paige (I believe that was her name) was friendly and attentive, occasionally checking up on us. Overall great place to eat, drink and socialize. We actually went on a day that had live music and it was great!

Great experience. Wings are fire. Gwen is an awesome bartender.
