First visit and it was truly enjoyable. Very nice selection of sauces to mix and match if you choose as my grandson did. Brisket and pulled pork were major hits with family. My absolute favorite item was the 'peach beans'. Unique and i will definitely reorder when they visit Illinois again.

Small gem just off 176! Great BBQ!! My wife had a pulled pork sandwich and I had the hot sausage - both were terrific!! Very nice staff also. I spoke with Debbie, who was so nice and informative. If you like BBQ, definitely check this place out!!!

The bbq sauces are great here, a wide variety, all good. My favorite meat is the bbq ribs. They are St. Louis style nicely seasoned and smoked!

Absolutely loved this hidden gem! Phenomenal food. Authentic Southern favorites and spicy, fruity twists. I had the chicken and pork combo with potato salad, peach beans, cole slaw, cornbread - and spouse's pickle. The smoked meat is excellent and don't skip trying the blueberry chipotle sauce, plum whiskey sauce, and all the other house sauces. (Blueberry was my surprise fav.) Decor is mom & pop cracker barrel meets deep south diner - charming and clean! Also loved the complimentary finely-diced salsa and chips at the beginning. Yum!

Everything my family of four got was absolutely delicious 🤤. I don’t think I’ve ever had a better rack of ribs in my life. We all had to try the others plates because they tasted so good. The sauce is amazing. I am VERY satisfied with this BBQ place! Definitely going back

The inside is pretty simple, but it's nice and clean. The BBQ brisket was outstanding, the pulled pork was the same. Heck, even the cornbread was top shelf. It's a small place, but the food is great.

What a delightful place!! Staff could not have been friendlier!! The food was amazing!! Love Mac and Cheese then you really should try this place!! A fan of BBQ?? I promise you will not be disappointed! Their chips and salsa are delicious, and do not forget dessert!!! Can't wait to go back and try more menu items!! Just be sure to come hungry!! ♥

I've tried a lot of things on the menu, and I enjoy everything there. You can pick your sauce for all the near items, but I think the spice and flavor are prevalent without the sauce. The sauce is just a bonus, in my opinion. You can't go wrong with the food or dessert at this restaurant.

three words: oh my god. I am usually not the biggest barbeque fan, but this place has definitely changed my mind. first of all, such a cute inside! it gives a lovely homey southern belle vibe. i have genuinely never experienced such an amazing meal at a restuarant. huge portions, and an amazing array of sauces.
we had gotten the pork n cheese and the brisket sandwich. both of us were shocked and jealous of how good the meals tasted! everything appears to be handmade with so much love.
we will definitely be coming back next time.

This is a hidden gem. The food is unbelievable.
Everything is homemade down to the ice cream. The desserts. Everything is fantastic if you ever get the opportunity. Please ensure you go there.

A MUST visit! They do wonderful catering events as well and a spry 94 year old diner there with us said they're fully charitable with their profits and kindness. Made from scratch sausages, meats and far out sauces'

My partner and I had a Groupon for this neat little spot in town. We decided to give them a try irregardless of all the controversy. We were greeted by one of the employees, and shown the menu. They explained the sauces they had, and got our order to our table promptly. I had the pulled pork basket and my partner had the bbq chicken basket, plus peach baked beans and mac and cheese.

The pulled pork was delicious, and my partner loved the bbq chicken! The Mac and Cheese was delightful with a smoky flavor and melted cheese on top and the cornbread was soft and buttery. The sauces were legit out of this world! Our favorites was the blueberry bourbon, Kansas City, and plum whiskey! We got to order a side dessert of Peach Cobbler and it was also delicious, just like homemade. We will definitely be back to try more on the menu. The employees were very knowledgeable, attentive and friendly. The atmosphere was very cozy and inviting, and they had some handmade home and body products like soaps, lotions and candles as well. We will be back again soon.

Love there BBQ. Staff is very friendly. Food is amazing with some unique twists like orange smoked turkey, peach beans, plum whiskey sauce (a must have), blueberry Chipotle sauce and peach cobbler. The prices are very low for the quality and quantity of food.

Glad we found something new to eat in Wauconda. The food was homemade, fresh and tasty. Great prices compared to some of the other restaurants in town. I had a smoked Italian beef and the zesty pasta. I loved all of it and already planning what I want to try next on their menu. It had a cute country shop inside and was neat and tidy everywhere. I definitely recommend to eat here. Thanks!

Everything was delicious, and it was evident that everything was fresh and homemade. Everything. The meats (we had the ribs, brisket, and pulled pork) were all tender, moist, and full of wonderful smoked flavor. The sides were a nice bonus. (How often can you say that?) The cole slaw was fresh and chunky (instead of shredded), the peach beans were tasty sweet, and the jalapeno corn bread had the perfect amount of heat (plus they were moist -- unusual as corn breads go). And how often do you have your choice of several distinctive sauces? Freshly made? Oh yeah. You all know the adage -- "don't judge a book by its cover." This is true of Little Rock Stock Cafe: Don't be fooled by the nondescript exterior of the building, for what awaits inside is well worth it!

There are a lot of barbecue places in the Chicago area, but this is the best of the best. There's no comparison to their exceptional menu, which includes smoked meats, the sides, desserts, and craft soft drinks. The brisket had perfect marbling and flavor. The peach beans, grilled jalapeno pepper, hand-crafted sauces, were exceptional. They also have an extensive menu that includes salads, Italian dishes, and more. There's a lot to see in this great place, too, including fresh breads, home-made candles, the hand-made barn door, rustic light fixtures, and much more. All of this, plus a very clean restaurant inside and out are clear signs of the owners and staff's great attention to detail, tremendous pride in what they do, and a clear focus on quality and excellent service. The sign near the entrance says, "Great BBQ makes fast friends," and the friendly people here live by and stand behind that saying! Highly recommend this 10-star restaurant.

BEST BARBECUE ON EARTH!!! Seriously, every single morsel and everything I ordered was the best of that item I have ever had. I LOATH cornbread, but the jalapeño cornbread was the first thing I tried and finished it right then. Brisket baked beans- holy cow so good. Hot sausage was so delicious and flavorful, especially with the South Carolina mustard- holy crap… The house sauce was delicious and unique, the other sauces were great too. Literally the best Mac and cheese I have ever tasted, even cold. If you like BBQ Productions, This place puts them to shame in price, flavor, sauce, and atmosphere. Highly recommend, and I will never go anywhere else for barbecue. They will be catering our next event, and we will be purchasing several sausages to cook on the grill and likely atleast 3 bottles of sauce. I’ve already eyed 4 items I want in their adorable store.

To start this is coming from a pit master and native of Eastern NC, so I am definitely more critical than most but we will be coming back to get more because it is a great reminder of back home. First found out about this olace when one of the owners came to get some charcoal from the place where I work in the evening and had a great conversation about BBW and smoking meats with them; and whenever someone tells me they have a North Carolina BBQ sauce I have to try it. The atmosphere here reminded me of some of the BBQ joints back home in Eastern North Carolina, you can see the 'pit' when ordering and the service is top notch. The small dining area and all reminded me of back home. My son got the smoked Italian beef sandwich and it was the perfect size with the small and had great taste, was the perfect portion and he was more than satisfied. My wife and daughter both got burgers and loved them, from what I tried of the burgers the Plum Whiskey sauce would go amazing on them. I got the three meat combo with pulled pork (Eastern NC tradition), chicken and orange turkey. Pulled pork was the best I have had outside of the south and may even rival some of the ones I have from home. While the NC sauce is not the style I personally like it did work great with the pork and reminded me of a mixture between a Western NC and Lexington style sauce. The chicken was perfectly cooked and went great with the South Carolina Mustard sauce. The turkey was perfect and reminded me of thanksgiving meals back home, put it with some mashed potatoes and stuffing and you have a great meal. The sides were amazing. The coleslaw is the closest I have had outside of North Carolina to the one I grew up enjoying and would be great on a sandwich with the pulled pork, the brisket baked beans were amazing and the peach baked beans is a recipe I will definitely try to recreate over my own pit in the future. If you are considering trying out this place, just go it is the best BBQ that I have tried in Illinois since we have moved up here. The owners and staff are amazing and super friendly, it felt like I was back home for the time my family and I were in the restaurant. The prices are reasonably set for the area and it is very easy to get in and out of the parking lot. Overall it is a 5/5, service and atmosphere are amazing and the food is a 4/5 when compared to BBQ from back home but it a 10/5 when comparing to any other BBQ joint in northeastern Illinois. Already planning on bringing the family here when they come up again to visit.

Friendly staff & the best pulled pork sandwich I have eaten in the state of Illinois over a10 year period. I plan to try other items but I always get the pulled pork. Other people have told me that their food was also really good. The atmosphere is like dropping into Petticoat Junction and finding a place to eat. If I am nearby I will plan to eat here. I just don't think you can go wrong with this place. I highly recommend it.
UPDATE: I tried a two meat platter. The chicken was tender and flavorful. The brisket was so smooth and cooked to perfection. Soft and tender. Really pleasant. The cole slaw is fantastic. The potato salad just right. Nice corn bread. 7 different sauces at the table. My personal favorite is the plumb whiskey brown sugar sauce. That is a real treat to the palate. My wife loves the pickles. I'm sure i would too but my wife gets them from me. This BBQ restaurant is a hidden gem. One last thing, don't forget to try the 3 meat chili. This robust treat does aim to please.
