JOANN Fabric and Crafts

This location is a little smaller than the surrounding craft stores but or packs a punch! I always find exactly what I need here where I cant find anywhere else! Plus Joanns is one of the few craft stores I find that still has good coupons! I also bought by cricut machine for a lower cost here than I found online or on Amazon! Definitely stop by to get your creative juices flowing!

I wasn't sure if I should say I loved it or I hated it. Bought way too much yarn today and spent a lot more than I was planning. 😉 And unlike my last visit, the employees were very friendly and helpful today. 🙂

Editing my review from a while back. I gave them another chance today, after not going for a long time. I was greeted with smiles and I had a great experience. I hope this is the new norm!

Previous words: Of all the craft stores I go to, this is my least favorite. I only come here when I am desperate. Long lines, rude employees and high prices are the norm. But they have all the things.

Went in for half a yard of fabric with my daughter to make her a kite. Staff was friendly, and pointed me to their remnant section. We ended up buying a total of two yards for different little activities, and the lady at the fabric counter had no problem making all of the cuts. Great, polite service like this is hard to find!

Stopped in again this week. Staff was very helpful pointing me in the right direction. Was odd they had no cashiers in the front, however.

The Sales person was very helpful and kind. I purchased "T" pins. Did you know that you can use "T" pins to hang pictures up nothing to heavy thou. They are a little expensive thou. $7.99, but it's worth it. Joann's has a lot of great stuff.. I'm going back today to get the sewing machine case on wheels. It's on sale.

There are always excellent deals going on, and signing up for their email or text alerts is worth the additional savings. The staff is helpful and friendly, and they carry a fairly wide variety of items.

While they do carry some other items, they focus on what customers will need for their *cloth* projects, so don't expect to find lots of other crafting materials like ceramics, balsam wood, paint canvasses, or plastic model kits.

Nice store. Has loads of great fabrics and sewing/quilting products. Neat & orderly, has many items to choose from but prices have really shot up, use your coupons.

Great selection of fabrics, craft items and notions (gadgets). Most prices are pretty fair and I usually find what I went there for. I can check online if they have in stock, great website! While shopping online can be convenient, putting my hands on the items and keeping people working is really important to me. Experienced sewers work there along with other customers, all who have useful knowledge and alternative creative ideas.

5 stars on this visit. My order was ready and waiting at the cash register. A couple of the cutting table employees could have been nicer and speak when customers walk up but I was just happy My order was ready, so I greeted them instead.

I came in close to closing time and found everything I needed before they actually closed. The staff was so friendly and helped me find what I was looking for. I came in needing materials to sew as I am completely new to it and had no idea what I was doing or what I needed. The staff was so patient and kind and was extremely helpful.

I had a great experience at this Joann location today! Cathy was so helpful and making sure my transaction ran so smoothly! The cashier before almost ruined the experience, but Cathy swooped in and saved the day! I was honestly apprehensive of switching to this store from the Naperville store since we just moved to Plainfield from Naperville, but I am so highly pleased with the service today! So excited about my fabrics!

Excellent store. Smaller than most Joanns, but laid out well. A little slow at checkout due to line and only one cashier, but worth the wait. Cashier was very pleasant.

I was able to use coupons from my emails and saved 40% off my fabric. If you don't know how to find coupons, but ask the cashier. She was so helpful, with finding me the best coupon deals. Thanks!

Awesome service; the associates (especially the more experienced ones) make you feel appreciated. I was pleased to find some material for a scarf that I plan on making, and I was able to use a coupon from the text alerts that I receive, which is very helpful

This is my go to place for fabrics, notions, yarns, ect. I always check out the baking n utensils and silicone items for my Instant Pots, they have good selection. Always some kind of coupon to be used!

If you need it they have it! The staff in this store go above and beyond to serve thier customers. This is a hard time of year to shop and they just step and help you. I Love this store and will make the 60 mile trip one way shop there for all my crafting and sewing needs.

Bright, clean store with helpful knowledgable staff. Seasonal items are always cute and fun. Mobile coupons without needing to subscribe mean you can always save extra.
