European Bakery and Tea Room

I told the lady over the telephone phone I wanted a train cake. That was it. And Samantha made the most adorable train cake I could have ever wished for. She made my sons 3rd birthday so special. I will be getting all my birthday cakes from the European Bakery.

What a find! Big parking lot and easy access for customers. Right off Route 1, impossible to miss. I enjoyed a delicious lunch croissant. A must visit for treats. This place reminds me of something right out of downtown Boston.

Such a cute, perfect little pastry shop. The staff is always very friendly and helpful. It's so hard to choose just a sweet or two with all the delicious looking options. The raspberry puff and cheesecake are my favorites but you can't go wrong with anything you choose ☺

The pastries here are worth ruining your diet for. The eclairs are busting with filling and the tiramisu whoopee pies are a delight. I highly recommend. I visit regularly.

Several friends recommended European Bakery as a great place to order cakes for a special occasion and it was a spot-on suggestion. It was easy to call in an order and they offer so many unique cakes (tortes on their website). We ordered the 6" Lemon Gateau for $30 and they even offered to decorate it with text. The vanilla cake layers were so light and fluffy, and the lemon curd was the perfect balance of tart and sweet. I am looking forward to trying another cake flavor sometime!

Carrot cake with cream cheese frosting was superb and was beautifully decorated. It’s certain that high-quality ingredients and lots of care went into this exquisite dessert.

Very nice specialty bakery right on US-1 near the Falmouth- Cumberland line. Excellent cakes! We've tried red velvet, peanut butter, and Boston cream pie for birthday cakes. Also a great assortment of individual desserts. A bit pricey, but worth it. Occasional 50% off day old and imperfect items.
Seems like they've closed off the tea room portion of the shop :(
Helpful, friendly service, and plenty of parking.
I think they're closed on Sundays.

The service I received here was excellent. I was greeted by the owner himself with a warm welcome. With his patience and knowledge, he helped me find the right cake with the right ingredients. Dealing with dietary restrictions can be difficult but not here. I was very pleased with the tip he gave me before heading out the door too - clean the knife before each slice. This cake was deliciously rich and decadent! I will be back!

Such an amazing little bakery. Find the thing you will not find at the supermarket bakery. A slice of sweet heaven and the coffees not bad either!

This is a sweet little bakery located in Falmouth. We are excited to try all these. So far we tried our vanilla cupcake and a cannoli. The first place where I really love the cannoli from. I found out that the original owner had sold the business two years ago but they kept the recipes and the interior.

I stop by this place every time I am in the area. They have a great gluten free selection (the cheesecake bites and chocolate truffles are my favorites) and their cupcakes are to die for!

Blown away by European Bakery…everyone said the cake looked “fake” because it was so gorgeous, and it was genuinely the best buttercream I’ve ever eaten in my life. I was sad to tuck the top tier in the freezer for our anniversary…I will have to make a trip in a few times to hold me over until next year. Thank you!!!

Amazing desserts. I got the tiramisu whoopie pie and it was a delight. So many great options. I am excited to come back.

Yum! Great local place with knowledgeable staff and great advice on what to purchase! The cake was delicious and perfect for our anniversary - we cut into it a night early! Great last minute options and variety for planners who may have waited until the last moment for a sweet treat.

An excellent place to pick up a snack or lunch, and take some goodies to go. Staff was friendly and the selection was great.

I’ve ordered a few cakes from here over the years, always blown away at how beautiful they turn out!

Just had another excellent cake from this bakery. We’ve had many good ones here. I traveled pretty far, but that was worth it just for the snack I got there when I picked up the cake.

Utterly and absolutely DELICIOUS. We stopped in October while on vacation, and I've been dreaming of their 7 layer cake ever since. Unfortunately, they don't ship, so I'm going to have to keep dreaming until our next trip to Maine. If you're blessed enough to be in the area - stop. You will not be disappointed. Their selection is huge and everyone who works there is lovely.

European bakery has a wide selection of pastries & desserts that are all amazing. The cannolis & coconut cream pie are wonderful. The staff is so friendly and helpful. 10/10 recommend !
