Great variety of high-quality dishes! The calamari is always really good. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Perfect for a nice dinner or date night.

I cannot rave about this place enough. I always have incredible service at the bar every time I come! Food is always top tier as well. The cocktails are mixed to perfection. I wish I lived closer so I could come more often.

Great food options and quality at reasonable prices. The bar menu and quality of drinks is very strong as well. The layout of the restaurant is kind of broken into multiple areas so your dining experience could vary depending on where you sit. Overall this is a really great choice and I will plan to return.

Very impressive dinner spot! We came here for a wedding and stayed at Holiday inn, this restaurant is just next door. It is perfect for a nice dinner after a long flight. The restaurant looks pretty nice with great interior decorations. I ordered a miso glazed salmon, my husband had a prime steak, both uncle and mom had pretzel bun burgers, and dad ordered a salad. All of us enjoyed our foods, we also loved our wine. It is a nice place for a date, business dinner or family hangout. Plus the service is nice too.

The steak nachos are amazing. I definitely recommend those for an appetizer. My wife got the halibut, which had good flavor and cooked perfectly. I got the Flatbread sausage and pepperoni that was real good too.

An upscale yet not-so-pricy place to enjoy with your evenings friends and family. The food has gotta be good otherwise I wouldn’t have posted the snaps and reviews 😉

Specialities are grilled steak and cocktails…And finally the pro tip, on Wednesday, you can get the bar menu at a half price 😳

Another wonderful date night with my husband. We enjoyed our appetizer. It was drunken mushrooms. Then we had a salad with no croutons with ranch. My main course was lamb chops with asparagus. My husband had Brazilian kobs with brussel sprouts. My husband enjoyed his old fashion as I enjoyed my mojito without adding sugar or sweaters. Thank you

My boyfriend and I were hesitant on eating at Baxters but we’re so glad we did. We typically cook all the time and I wanted to take him out for a congratulatory dinner. Joe, our server was super nice & attentive. The steak &brazilian kabobs were amazing!!!

Love This place! The service is awesome. And the food is delicious. I drive all the way from Indianapolis Indiana. My favorite is the fried catfish, the salad is like no other, the house Italian dressing is to die for! The portions are a good size, it’s definitely worth the money and drive! I’ll be back soon thanks for providing top tier service and food!❤

Delicious food at good prices. My fiancé had the sirloin tip gnocchi and loved it, I had the chicken piccata and thought it was perfect. It is very lemony and in my opinion, better than the piccata at Biaggi’s or Cheesecake Factory. Their signature salad was great, if the onions were pickled it would be perfect. The gratin potatoes are very heavy and are meant for sharing. We barely ate any but had them as leftovers the next day. Nothing particularly special about them but the potatoes were cooked to a correct level of doneness. The white chocolate raspberry bread pudding was delicious, a definite must-have! We also got a pretzel app and drinks, but I would pass on the pretzel (actually probably not get any apps) and get a different cocktail next time. The blackberry mojito was just okay. Overall, I’d say this is a great date night or celebration spot we will go to again soon.

Lovely interior, got the steak kabob on rice and loved it! The Baxter's salad was good as well, not what I would typically expect but it was good.

My son and I were visiting my niece in Bloomington IL. She took us our for dinner here.....I ordered the Gnocchi and the Creme Brulé. Loved both the items. The gnocchi was mouthwatering ......full of flavours....blue cheese, with the balsamic drizzle and topped with beef.....and ending with the delicious crème Brulé. Very enjoyable meal with family. Must try if in town.

The menu is very extensive for a Bloomington Normal restaurant. Weekends for prime rib, steak cut selection is good.. There is something for everyone, within reason. Seafood executed well in central Illinois? Thank you! Fiancée had Parmesan crusted halibut. I chose the blackened grouper with red beans and rice. Service was fantastic. Best experience, all-around, that I have had dining out since pandemic started

Beautiful restaurant. The ambience was upscale but inviting. The servers were friendly and attentive. There was a but of a wait between the appetizers and our main course, however, it was understandable considering how busy they were. Our streaks were flavorful and well prepared. I recommend them and will be returning.

Really enjoyed dinner at Baxters! Amazing food and drinks at a fair price. Service and diner ambiance was very friendly and favorable. Recommend the bone-in ribeye.

Great food. Great atmosphere. Great service. Great selections. Can't go wrong with Baxter's if you are looking for a nice dinner in Bloomington.

I would recommend giving Baxter's a try. Everything we had from appetizers to salads to entrees were all prepared with quality ingredients & seasoned well.

Took my grandpa here for some lunch, and it was amazing. Our server was friendly, food came out in a timely manner, overall would recommend coming here to eat. Steak was well cooked, as well as the sides. My entree was a tad bit salty but I did not mind
